Great honesty as always buddy. My first drone was Hubsan H501S with older large controller and one day just fell from the sky even with a full battery. Even crashing into grass it destroyed it. I was so upset as nothing I could do. I think I emailed you regarding that some time ago. I ended up replacing it with a used H502SS with the better controller and it is okay. I have it boxed up with spare batteries as do not use it anymore as wanted a folding drone, so bought a used basic Zino and on first couple of flights it was toilet bowling all the time even after Compass cals. A RUclipsr buddy said I had to do compass cals away from controller and hold drone 4 feet above the ground to calibrate, it worked but was a pain in the ass to do due to not knowing when to change calibration angle. I am now selling that too as went down the DJI rout and loving my Mavic Air 2, just want to add a Mini 2 now and just have two drones. I think Hubsan have issues with every drone.
Good history story there and it’s similar to many including myself. I boxed up everything before the zino and sold it all to one person. There was some little indoor flyers and about 9 501 models with several parts and batteries. Gave me a lot of room back. lol
I haven’t gotten a USB disconnect yet (knock on wood) but then again I haven’t flown with a second battery so I don’t know if I will experience this disconnect issue. Good to know though.
I'm always disconnected from the signal. Aircraft came safely. But it never happens to be cut off because of usb. I really want to know if it's going to RTH or Flyaway.
I have 22 drones all still work I bought one HUBSAN drone and its here in a box in pieces the HUBSAN ZINO 2 call me what you want but DJI still makes the best drones for the money hell I still have my SPARK still flys like the day I got it and I still have the MAVIC AIR still flys like the day I got it now I have the MAVIC AIR 2s and I love it I don't worry about it falling out of the sky or all the other problems!
I totally get it as I have too many to admit to myself but one thing you never here me do is compare company and quality between Hubsan types and DJI. It’s a givin 👍🏻 That being said I still enjoy flying my Hubsan’s on occasion. Mine work very well so all I do is pray that the batteries don’t do what they love to do in these Hubsan drones causing the death fall.
Very similar experience. My remote disconnected (batteries on drone and remote were fully charged) and disappeared in a similar location to yours. Searched forever, hoped it would make safe return to base … nothing. £500 lost.
Good morning Chris I just bought the hubsan Zino Mini Pro it's still in a box after seeing this video I don't want them issues I'm just going to send it back and get my money back and get a DJI air or mini thank you Chris for the warning
Hubsan as a company is enough of a headache and I like pretty much all of their quads but this is the first one I would say absolutely do not buy. I think you made a smart decision. Thanks
Hey Chris I've been looking at other videos and they said why do USB disconnection is happening due to a bad cord coming from the controller to the phone that's what I'm looking at now on this video and I'm reading all of the comments I really don't know but it's something you might want to look into
@@keyto1975 no on this one it’s a mixed bag. Sure some can be and are a simple bad cable but many have no response to a new cable or anything. It’s a issue that is big for this little hot box of a quad….
Good day! My drone has such a problem. Aircraft disconnected. I can't fix this problem in any way. Do you know how to solve this problem? Please tell me! There is a reset button on the remote, can I use it?
Sorry sometimes I just can’t help fix everything. If you have tried all the typical easy fixes it may be a hardware issue like it is for many. Trying different cables, airplane mode, firmware updates and magic wands don’t always work. The button on the controller is for computer updating and there is none. Good luck 👍🏻
Thanks Chris for your time in discussing this problem.I received my Hubsan Zino Mini Pro on the 3/3/22 I updated the firmware it ask me to do,and then the message USB disconnected time after time I have contacted Hubsan still waiting for a reply my only concern is if in flight will I lose the drone.
Thank you to you for your answer ... I see that many are having problems and some have not had my luck and have lost their drone ... INTOLERABLE ... I am thinking of making a petition via the net ... Happy Holidays the end of the year..
I wish I had looked at this video before. Too late now as am in Canada and even after 3 days I can't return it because it's open and flew it 3 times. It was so hard to even calibrate the vision sensors. And heat issue heating fast to 95 Fahrenheit. So far it flew fine but signal was lost many times. Worst drone ever had, and shame on those RUclipsrs that keep saying how good Zino mini pro is. Thank-you for this video.
Sorry for your troubles man… It’s common but in some cases it’s fixable with different otg cables or using airplane mode on a android device. iOS doesn’t seem to care if it’s in airplane mode or all the other hoops android users have to jump through in troubleshooting.
I ruined my ZMP by using lock tight on the screws to the propellers and now the heads are breaking off in the motors. I contacted Hubsan and they do not offer replacements. I want to remove the camera and gimbo and install it on my sons Zino mini SE to upgrade his drone. Do you think it would work or is there firmware involved that would prevent it from working.
I use med loktite and have no issues but I don’t know if switching cameras will work because it’s going to be different hardware and firmware which it most likely will reject.
@@QCGUY since you have worked on a couple of these would you know what aftermarket motor would fit this ZMP. I wouldn't be opposed to trying to replace them with something similar.
@@QCGUY Same problem I found. I know you do not care for this particular drone but people ask you to fix them so If I figure out what motor to use I'll update you. Thank you for taking time to read and respond to my comments. Your a better man than I.
I should have watched this before purchase ZINO MINI PRO. I have it for a week and of course I did try a couple of times flew in the field. My ZINO MIN PRO disconnected all the times. It so scares to me as well. So, the USB disconnected is not just only my ZINO. Transmitter disconnection also occurs. What I did was, I disconnect the USB cable and re-connect a couple of times. It works sometimes. If it did not, turn off the transmitter and then turn on again. Some cases are combination of both. So far, I am lucky that I have not lost the drone yet. Such issue never occurs my DJI Mini that I have it for more than 2 years. Hope HUBSAN seriously listens the message and will fix the issue soon. Thank you for your RUclips message,
I had approximately 20minutes flight today based on the USB advice, and did not experience the disconnection issue. So far, it works well!Thank you for your great advice,
Damn sorry to hear about your zino dude, and like you said, Hubsan Zinos just have a big issue in general man. I just wish they get their shit together and fix all of em. Anyways thanks for sharing this video with us brother Chris. Much love and respect buddy. Thanks 🙏 for all you do and please keep flying.
Wow, thanks for sharing Chris. I was so hoping this bird would be a DJI competitor but alas it's a typical Hubsan product. I just pre-ordered the Autel Evo Nano+. Should be shipped early next month. Just couldn't wait for DJI to get it's next mini to marked. Plus I like not having geo-fencing!
Apple is one operating system from a single company. Android is a different baby all together with so many different brands using it but not with the same exact hardware etc..
I recently had another Hubsan Zino Mini Pro incident when during a return to home from about 275' altitude the drone was 19'.away from the takeoff point. I watched it come straight down until at 30, l attempted to raise it up as it was destined to land on my house roof. But the drone didn't respond. It just continued off course to descend. So I continued pushing the left stick up to no avail. It eventually scrapped my roof the fell to ground. The damage was several broken/cracked propellers. Also the battery pack was cracked near the top. I also think the camera/gimble was not completely normal. I contacted Hubsan and gave them my flight log. They said the problem was me, that I started too late. My roof line is at about 12ft and my first up control was at 30ft. Are they correct? I can't get them to answer why the drone didn't respond to any of my continuoo attempts to raise the drone up. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I have a zeno mini pro with some problems. I tried to join your Hubsan group on FB but keep getting an error message when submitting join request. Where can I post my questions to you so I can repair my drone or send it to you if repair is out of my skill range?
I hope Hubsan is watching and listening. It's not just this Mini. I think you're right about the heat issue. I thought it was a cable issue. I've bought cheap Chinese USB cables before and had to replace them after only a few uses.
Keep it real Chris. Disconnecting and overheating scared me off, mostly the disconnecting then auto RTH. Lots of trees for it to nest in. From what I've seen - once it usb disconnected, the remote is useless. Your pre-flight check is good if you're turning off the remote while connected. If it usb disconnect on it own - pray that it returns.
@@mr.j-rcs822 I already know you have tried everything you know and others have suggested. Some of these Hubsan quads get this and nothing works to resolve it. I personally think these cases are more of controller usb port related.
Thankyou for your video. I have had the same problems with my zino mini pro. I did get some better results running my android phone in flight mode. With that being said my drone did suffer a failure I watched it fall on my phone from about 400feet there was nothing I could do I was flying over an ocean and it just dropped out of the air. I contacted hubsan sent my flight records and all of my purchases information including the refresh care that was purchased well within there instruction. When I purchased the insurance I had to input the drone serial number in order to complete the purchase. After they seen the flight records I got an email back saying that the drone was faulty and to use my refresh care insurance. I tried and I asked for help and I was told I had to bind the insurance to the drone. I explained that the drone was gone sitting in the bottom of the ocean. There reply was sorry for your loss we can't help you. So I feel that the company it self is equally a problem with the usb disconnect. This crash happened 2 flights after an update I had done about 3 to 4 weeks ago. Hope this helps the next person and thank you for your information.
This is a risk of flying over water but Hubsan isn’t known for good customer service or backing their products with any admitting guilt. Sorry for your loss….
Thanks for the video. I was considering the zino mini. I had the nano+ until one day it suddenly dropped from the sky and died. I have the mini2 that I really like, but I'm philosophically opposed to geo-fencing. I don't need OA. Do you have any recommendations as an alternative to the mini2?
@@QCGUY Unfortunately there's no perfect drone but I'm leaning toward the zino mini se. Too bad I can't take the camera off my crashed nano+ and put it on another drone. :) Thanks for your reply!
Thanks Chris for update on hubsan mini which I will not be buying was thinking of buying it I will stick with my mini 2 and spark and fimi x8 se will stick with DJI once again Chris excellent video Thomas from Ireland 🇮🇪
Very sure all these disconnections are application side issues. If you close the app (completely of the memory) and reopen I will recognize it again, it's not cable issues or heat, the few times I had such issue I remember it was with low heat, the controller and phone.
Sorry that fixes some disconnect issues but not all. These are very random between models and just more BS you need to jump through. I think you’re speaking from the android side of just part of the disconnect issue.
Hello QC Guy, after a lot of disappointments with the Zino mini PRO I tried several things ... put my phone in "airplane" mode I did not have a USB disconnection but I had to turn my drone back on twice because the connection was not working ... maybe there is a precise way to start everything with a certain order ??? then I did ONLY ONE FLIGHT, I insist on the "only one" with a battery starting from the 4 blue leds up to 1 single blue one with a landing at 6.28volts ... I tried the Normal flight modes , Film, Expert .... and there was a big surprise on my flight logs ... I got 6 flights ???? the same date today 12/21/19 BUT NO DISTANCE recorded in distance ... only heights + flight time .. !! Quoted unknown while on the card I am well registered ?? max recorded speed 7.6m / s ........... updates OK ... 1.3.7 which allows the HLOG + Camera upwards well above the horizon .. !! I do not understand the reasons for the lack of data on the distance ... as for the USB disconnection in flight, this is not happening today ................ FYI, I'm still waiting for a reaction from Hubsan and I opened a dispute via Paypal ..... No explanation from the manufacturer's "great engineers" .... For the moment the "home return" is working ... it is distressing !! I am thinking of making a video to challenge Hubsan or even a petition, I have already warned them ... not everyone has 600dollars to throw away ...! Thank you for your videos. Philippe
There’s no real rule of start up sequence but starting the app last has always been my practice for less connection issues. Not sure what is going on with this flight log but do know a lot of people are experiencing issues and in typical Hubsan fashion it’s typical bugs like the flight log issues you have and poor qc related issues. In the end you will just get a big 🖕from Hubsan and they will simply not respond and ignore you if you cause too much attention to the issues. You have to be a good boy like some reviewers, drop to your knees and beg may I have another replacement if I give positive reviews? Run! Run fast and far from this quad my friend!
Hi Chris, thanks for putting this out. I have only flown my ZMP 3 times and all 3 times I've had usb disconnect. They were not up long enough to get too hot. Once the craft returned to home, the other 2 times it just landed where it was, no hovering in place waiting. Not returning to home when it loses connection scares me. Prevents me from flying the craft anywhere I cant easily walk to it to retreive it. Not very useful. I am awaiting a new cable, will see if that solves my problem. I did email Hubsan asking for help with this issue but they haven't responded yet after 3 weeks. How do I join that Hubsan chat group you mention?
@@QCGUY Thanks. Current;y in DR. I did get a cable that a commenter on another channel put out. This was the third such cable that I've tried and this one worked. I had the drone up today with no issues. Will see if I have similar success on future outings.
@@joegraceffo642 Joe, have you had continued success with the new cable? I've only had my ZMP for a month and the disconnect caused me to go buy a DJI Mini 2 last week. But I'd still like to get this ZMP up in the air, earning its keep. Looking forward to hearing from you.
@@highflightimages4140 In all honesty, somt times I use the cable Hubsan supplied and it works OK, other times I use the after market cable and it works ok, but both at times dont work. @@joegraceffo642 it does. When you sent this I was outside giving my ZMP another chance at redemption. My new cable came in today. It worked perfectly. So far!! Thanks.
Hi, I just received my ZMP last week and I'm learning about this problem. I've experienced this in my second flight but the drone did not take off so it is still safe. I'm starting to feel insecure about this drone. Anyway, with my "expert in computer's hat on", a USB disconnection is just a message on the UI. Without access to the logs inside the drone and the controller it will be difficult to explore. It seems to me that the USB connection that has been disconnected is the connection between the controller and the cell phone. So I agree with your feelings about temperature, but I'm not 100% convinced about that being the source of the problem.
I repeat this often and think I said as much in the video that a usb disconnect on this drone and other Hubsan drones is not a single solution problem. It can be multiple things which have all been proven and it can be one problem you can’t resolve. The zmp is the most common with this issue and also the only one that reaches temps over 140F. This absolutely could be a temp issue despite what a usb disconnect typically stands for as a disconnect between controller and device.
Completely agree with your assessment of Hubsan as a company. I have 2 zino 2 drones, one is good with a swollen battery, the other is a dud. That's less than 50% Talk about roll of the dice. Great video Chris 👍
Hi, My Zino pro 2020 does not have that issue but it has a fly away problem. It worked fine for about 10 hours worth of flight then on the day i decided to fly somewhere outside of my training area. It would fly away almost immediately after take off.. My gps signal was good, batteries were charged (control and quad) cable was good, it was calibrated and up to date. After the 3rd scare I gave up on learning to fly. Quick note, that was my second drone i bought for myself after starting with a Holy Stone. Maybe one day I'll try to fly again with something of higher quality, but for now the PTSD of the fly away is ingrained in my head.
You are the perfect example of what pisses me off with these companies. I hate to see someone new have a bad go at it and have that ruin it for them. Go DJI and you will thank me and enjoy the experience.
I'd say check the phones data usage. Restrict apps by using the low battery setting. Could even be backup over USB interrupts. The heat problem would be for SE too since controllers handle the same connections. Troubleshoot not assume. Disable most background app connects and internet over USB and hotspot.
I work on drones and most everything you described is why I don’t care for android. These are things you don’t have to worry about with ios in this case. As I said there is no one solution as this will happen for multiple reasons with some being a simple no brainer fix with the device or cable but some cases it’s within the controller and I know this because I have multiple and test that theory with a simple swap. It’s a Hubsan issue either way….
I confirm, but now the radio does not disconnect from the drone. At the moment it is solved by disconnecting and connecting the cable to the smartphone
@@QCGUY yes, it happens only a few seconds after take off.For me the problem is related only to the app, while before, when the radio was disconnected from the drone together with the app, to the radio
I know the filing i got disconnected and rh was setting to 500 so this thing go up and up it ended good but God i was scared thanks man I will return this danger wonderful thing
I had this problem last week for the first time using the original cord. I changed the cord and it went away. Happened again with the new cord so I used the original cord and it went away.
Nice one pal, I had mine for 2 months and probably only managed 4 flights in total including the best one ever where I threw it into my garage wall smashing it to pieces !!!!!!! I couldn't watch the whole video mate, only watched to the point where the controller started USB disconnected, at which point I started twitching uncontrollably and started kicking my dog 😂😂😂😂 Only joking about the dog 👍
Same issue. Put the phone in ‘Airplaine Mode’, no more problem. It’s actually in the directions as ‘Phone Flight Mode’, must not have translated from Chinese well.
Hey John….Again not the same usb disconnect issue if that is what resolved it. There’s different issues that cause usb disconnect that can be the usual obvious, the android compatibility etc…
Just a quick update on the Husban Zino Mini Pro. I had somewhat of a different problem I would get a disconnection fault, will not fly so I sent it back to Husband and by the way it took 6 months before I got it back! Anyway when I got it back they told me to take the battery out while still on and replace it, after doing that a couple of time it connected and it flys with no problem but now I have to do that almost every time (Husband why?). So I got the Husband Mini SE and it flys with no problems I am so happy! Why did I buy another Hubsan well in the area where I live right outside of DC there is a15 mile No Fly Zone so DJI is out of the question Husban is the best of the bunch that I can fly unrestricted. Hope this helps someone.
That’s a compass or gps fault reset procedure if I recall. I worked on one where I had to do that but I forgot exactly what the exact reason was. Hubsan doe’s things pretty goofy.
if it hovered when disconnected, it might be the setting in the app was set to hover or land but not to return home. This might be the issue for this fly-away, or the battery does not have enough power to return home. In my case, I never had this issue with my zino mini pro when I followed these simple steps: 1- Put your phone in flight mode as a precautionary procedure. (some flights I did it with flight mode off and had no issues at all). 2- Do not connect the cable to the phone until you have the controller and drone connected. 3- in any case, if you face the USB disconnection issue, do not start with turning off the controller, instead, start with shutting off the app, and opening it again, it will re-connect again with aircraft. 4- finally, and I am sure everyone is aware of, double-check the RTH setting, make sure it will return to home with any disconnection issues and enable the GPS Safe takeoff setting, this will not allow the drone to fly unless it has a good GPS signal.
@@hebatgroup it will return to home if there are any disconnection issues, either it is because of the USB or because of loss of connection with the controller.
@@abdullah6744 aircraft disconnected automatically RTH. will take 1 minute ++ and if the usb disconnected zmp will hover, need to press RTH on the remote control. be careful also if overheating, zmp will automatically landing on the current position. this is based on an experiment I have made
@@hebatgroup Just watched a video last night where a guy flew his ZMP out, then turned off his remote controller and after a few seconds, the ZMP initiated a Return to Home and landed near where it took off.

@@QCGUY my phone is an apple ...regarding the hoop jumping, actually on the first one- yes tried lots of things in desperation to keep it- I love the idea of it just don't love "it". That sucks all that work you did fixing it and and it flies away assuming thats the one you recently worked on , i think people interested in good drones that you can depend on should stick to DJI Minis I've never had problems with them yet
DJI gets buggy sometimes and much so recently but they can fix these things. I think a lot of people get sick of the DJI apple type games. Geofencing was the biggest complaint of the past but that’s going to change as others start doing it. I do like my DJI quads though…
@@QCGUY ya thats my only complaint about DJI is the Geofencing especially sub 250g drones but i love my Mini 2 hoping to buy the Mini 3 maybe next year if it comes out , have a good day
My zino pro was nearly always saying USB disconnected, before or during flight. I tried different cables, different phones no matter what, always the same problem - Hubsan support was no help at all! In the end, I flew the zino starting with a full battery, but after 30 meters it said empty battery I tried to bring it back but suddenly it fell from the height of 6 meters broke an arm - that was the end of my adventure with Hubsan and their drones - my conclusion and advice never ever Hubsan!!! Now I fly DJI M2A, not a perfect drone, but much more reliable and that is my focus point no 1 - can you trust on the drone. I must say I admire Cris fighting with these drones year after year - I´m not that patient, but I still follow your battle with these drones though I think it is an endless battle - I don´t think Hubsan has the skills to do it!!!
My ZMP dropped out of the sky for no reason, with the horizon tilting to the right even tho the drone was falling to the left. Hubsan first claimed it was "interference from the local environment". After I told them I had no problems with my Fimi X8 flown over the same course, with no interference and a solid GPS connection, they changed the explanation to " it was caused by a previous crash". Reviewing my FPV recordings, the second flight was a low hover in my front yard, and the drone tipped over when landing, the smallest of impacts. Therefore I conclude that the Hubsan warranty is not worth a spit, and this USB disconnection issue should warn anyone against buying one. What is the point of having a drone that might crash at any time, at random? Interestingly, when I tried flying mine without a phone connected and the app running, it was fine flying it using VLOS and the parameters on the RC, but the gimbal was locked at zero degrees, and recorded video and pictures were much lower quality.
I said this in the beginning and am seeing it regularly. They are all about customers on release time but a few weeks of problems and it’s all customers fault even though several report the exact issues.
Why would anyone buy a Hubsan these days? IMHO H501 was their last best drone. I crashed my first (THE first) Zino, bought a DJI Spark and never looked back.
I’ve enjoyed most of the Zino’s. I get it though because I see just how many others have had bad dealings. Plus the silly hoops you need to jump through in updating if not computer savvy etc…
Hubsan arent the greatest ( in my opinion) at explaining things.2022 the app and drone have done several updates. Not sure if you tried the 2022 zino mini ( not the pro or mini 2)? My gimble by default is stuck in point up direction now by default. Not sure how to change that without constantly tapping the app to bring the gimble to zero. If you have tried this drone, let me know. All the best
I have flown it but don’t own it. It wasn’t bad but Hubsan can’t deliver half their products problem free from some QC issue they caused so I won’t waste the money on them.
Stupid move from Hubsan to move away from the regular Zino models so quickly. Those were not too far from being very good drones. Few issues here and there, but very easily solvable with product development. Imagine having rock solid fool proof 4K quad in with Regular Zino price. They could have done it and be very successful in the category and in few years their reputation would have been very different. Has it been 2 or 3 years now without a release of a "finished product" from them?
Very good point… Make something work great, sell the shit out of it and then bring on the next model but always bizarre how they never learn from past mistakes and always release with the same and some new problems. Too much for the average consumer.
Thinking back over the history of USB & devices (especially devices using a USB client) when MS Windows first started using USB devices, the initialization of the device's USB (channels, I think) can become flaky. A reboot didn't always fix the problem. I suspect it's a device interrupt that gets set due to a malfunctioning device driver that checks & sets the status. Obviously, it's USB housekeeping (I assume between controller & phone) is faulty. If it's the drone's fault, I would suspect there's a holdover from an incomplete USB device (using onboard storage instead of microSD card) that might be causing this problem. Though there's no microSD card device in it, I wonder if the Zino Mini Pro's development started out with a miniSD card device but taken out to save a few grams of weight. By taking it out, I wonder if all instances of the microSD are fully removed out of firmware, controller, etc.
You leave a lot to think about and wonder about. Not sure we will ever find our own solutions to this for those reasons and Hubsan’s brilliant engineers they brag about must be stuck as well.
Your repeating yourself but I can show you several different ways through settings, firmware hardware etc to get and or fix usb disconnect. There are many that have it where the average person or advanced person can resolve it. Not even the brilliant engineers of Hubsan. No airplane mode and all the other no brainer common sense solutions resolve it.
By the way I may or may not have deleted you on Facebook. 😂 I didn’t mean to or maybe I did but I was getting rid of some snowflakes and those who just send requests when they want something.
I’m not going to repeat myself here in what I said or replied with in other comments except congratulations you solved the problem for some not all. Trust me I work on them and there is much more to a usb disconnect that leads to multiple solutions and often non for several.
It’s a lottery so there’s good ones out there. It’s got other problems here and there between different users but Hubsan as a company is the worst part ownership.
You will learn from others that there is no one single fix as this is a disconnect with a wide range of reasons why. What works for you doesn’t work for everyone in other words.
Dreadful purchase, Hubsan Mini being my choice of drone . Awful connection problems straight out of the box , only ever flew it indoors twice for a minute or so as it kept disconnecting. I emailed Hubsan and they were also dreadful and totally disinterested in my issue . Secondly I bought this from Amazon UK advertised as a sub 250g drone which it certainly is not .Hubsan themselves would not verify the weight as sub 250g in writing, it's actually 252g , I've now sent it back to Amazon for a refund and sent a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority in the UK as Amazon weren't at all helpful.
I’m waiting on that quad till I see if it’s worth it. I should say quads because I’m undecided but they just raised the price on the lite version again so the little guy is looking better to me. 😂
I saw that. I think abt $100. Kinda sucks they're not available to buy yet..Autel Pilots website was saying last week 22 Nov (today) ship date but that is now gone. B&H photo is saying February..
The FIMI was another sad story for sure…these dumb companies need to slow down and put forth a little effort. They know it’s toy grade bs when making it available.

I ruined my ZMP by using lock tight on the screws to the propellers and now the heads are breaking off in the motors. I contacted Hubsan and they do not offer replacements.

I hope Autel gets their shit together. Another shipping delay will kill the sales for them.
Does anyone know why is it that Hubsan mini pro drone connects to apple devices much easier than to Android?
That’s really a shame and never should any drone not allow you to take control by design or not it’s stupid.
my hubsan zino pro always wifi disconnected with in 5 meters. please help to solve the issue sir. thanks

Very sure all these disconnections are application side issues. If you close the app (completely of the memory) and reopen I will recognize it again, it's not cable issues or heat, the few times I had such issue I remember it was with low heat, the controller and phone.

I think you’re speaking from the android side of just part of the disconnect issue.
Put Yr phone in airplane mode
Siempre bienvenido este tipo de informes. Thanks. thumbs up
Hello QC Guy, after a lot of disappointments with the Zino mini PRO I tried several things ... put my phone in "airplane" mode I did not have a USB disconnection but I had to turn my drone back on twice because the connection was not working ... maybe there is a precise way to start everything with a certain order ???
then I did ONLY ONE FLIGHT, I insist on the "only one" with a battery starting from the 4 blue leds up to 1 single blue one with a landing at 6.28volts ...
Thanks
Damn! Well at least I got the one with one battery. Haven’t got a chance to fly it yet .
I confirm, but now the radio does not disconnect from the drone. At the moment it is solved by disconnecting and connecting the cable to the smartphone
Frustrating isn’t it?

In my case, I never had this issue with my zino mini pro when I followed these simple steps:
1- Put your phone in flight mode as a precautionary procedure.
4- finally, and I am sure everyone is aware of, double-check the RTH setting, make sure it will return to home with any disconnection issues and enable the GPS Safe takeoff setting, this will not allow the drone to fly unless it has a good GPS signal.
will the aircraft RTH if usb is disconnected if the remote is on? or must work on usb to connected
@@hebatgroup it will return to home if there are any disconnection issues, either it is because of the USB or because of loss of connection with the controller.

It’s more of a awareness thing than a battle and helping those who are in it. Thanks 😊
Very good point…
Make something work great, sell the shit out of it and then bring on the next model but always bizarre how they never learn from past mistakes and always release with the same and some new problems.
Phone airplane mode. It’s a Wi-Fi problem.
I didn’t mean to or maybe I did but I was getting rid of some snowflakes and those who just send requests when they want something.
Hubsan has gotten the last money they ever will from me. I just say no to Hubsan!
I'm going to sum this up really short. On your cell phone you need to click or enable the do not disturb option on your phone. Problem solved
I’m not going to repeat myself here in what I said or replied with in other comments except congratulations you solved the problem for some not all.
Trust me I work on them and there is much more to a usb disconnect that leads to multiple solutions and often non for several.
Wish I had seen this video before I dropped $600 last month.
It’s a lottery so there’s good ones out there. It’s got other problems here and there between different users but Hubsan as a company is the worst part ownership.
Leaves are off of the trees where your at now. Lol definitely not worth hiking the mountains to look for.
I didn’t enjoy it then and wouldn’t enjoy it now but would have been nice to have found it then.
Need to turn off the hubsan app,
You will learn from others that there is no one single fix as this is a disconnect with a wide range of reasons why.
So glad I have not bought one. Hopefully the new Autel drones hit the market soon..
@@marktrotter1329 All red flags that say wait! Pay me to test and I’m in. 😂
LMAO..🤣🤣🤣. Definitely frustrating when you spend that kind of money and you get junk..
Yeah...I'm glad I didnt get this drone. I thought the Fimi Mini was bad.
The FIMI was another sad story for sure…these dumb companies need to slow down and put forth a little effort. They know it’s toy grade bs when making it available.
