I myself don't have all the facts, a lot of what I was hearing is that that girl lied about her age for one and for two nothing explicit happened in their messages, they just talked. Maybe thats not the truth, idk. Regardless as someone who grew up with his acting as a big part of my childhood, I was dissapointed to hear everything that was coming out at the time. But it is good to see that he fully acknowledges everything that happened and takes accountability for it
So are we just gonna pretend that the things people discussed in that documentary weren't incredibly traumatic and probably brought up feelings they would've rather not relived? It's incredibly understandable why Josh wouldn't want to be a part of it even if he does support Drake and the others. Not everyone is going to be willing to relive their past trauma for a documentary, and it's honestly messed up for channels like this to act like there's something malicious behind it.

Anoyher thing I was thinking of recently is that Drake was probably still in pain at that time in very extreme ways that Josh wasn't. I think if they had become friends on set that that was something that Drake needed but it wasn't something that Josh needed, so after it was all over Josh may have found an easier way to move on from it. Meanwhile, Drake could have found a much deeper attachment in that relationship as one very good part of his life in a time of extreme pain, so that good thing going away maybe began to hurt a lot too. I'm just speculating that that could be why they both viewed their friendship so differently

I have a theory why josh never liked drake. I think he was always jealous of Drake. He felt like he was ostracized as the fat kid.
