I was obsessed with Robocop when I was really little, and somehow I got it into my head that if I could beat the game it'd prove I was mature enough to see the movie; little kid logic at its finest, I guess. My parents told me probably dozens of times that's not how it worked but I didn't care, so whenever they were shopping I'd just sneak away to the arcade and blow all my quarters on this game. I did it probably six or seven times. Honestly looking back they were incredibly lenient with me despite how much of a little shit I was being, except the one time I think I broke my mom completely when I snuck away, played the game until I ran out of quarters, so then I snuck _back_ and begged her for more, all while she was trying to get a mall employee to hold her purchases so she could come get my dumb ass.

What I find kinda odd is that this game is a beat 'em up and run n' gun hybrid, but it somehow works.

You know if you would have done the Japanese version of Robocop 2 it would have been much better, but you would have to beat ED-209 twice

The animation on some of the robots is pretty cool. I see they really wanted you to spend some quarters on that final boss fight.
