I used to live in South Kensington in the 90s, thinking of a trip down memory lane this summer, visit my old haunts. I know Walton street very well, used to shop there, and I think there was a bar I used to go to as well, on the right side. It's changed so much looking on google maps street scene. Sloane square, Knightsbridge, Sloane street, Harvey Nics, Troubadour cafe, maybe pass by my old flat off Old Brompton rd, Great memories.

I absolutely love having my office there. Between the beautiful cadogan gardens and Sloane street.

you should show the council estates in places like new cross and woolwich peckham etc good to have a balance of nice places and shit holes

Oi! Oi! Oi! Calm Down, My Son !
Some of us grew up in those aforementioned Council Estate " shitholes" and the first 28 years I spent in the heart of South East London were some of the happiest times of my life when Inner London had real characters and I lived over a busy market, as well but Inner London was changing and I moved 37 years ago in 1983 and I STILL miss it every day but like to visit but no longer to live there. I moved just 10 miles to the very periphery and it has been very tranquil and safe but a tad boring :)

Woolwich used to be a decent, safe, quiet, and nice area. It has gone down since the Conservatives have cut down the council funding, and Woolwich council started to allow any sort of businesses to set up on any corner in the centre, to compensate .
It has also become crowded, noisy, and a bit ugly since a few council estates in bad condition were demolished in Peckham and most of their residents were moved to Woolwich, Thamesmead, and Abbywood.

      Spot On.
We lived in the old areas in and near Peckham before they built those 5 dreaded Estates including The North Peckham and Gloucester Grove Estates which were perfect breeding crimes with their endless escape routes for criminals as The Police could only go so far in their cars. Then they knocked those Estates down and the occupiers were forced to move, especially as areas in Inner London are becoming gentrified and non-affordable to many of the original tenants....

@@Isleofskye Correct - as I'm very familiar with these areas. True, London has lately been becoming gentrified since cheap construction workers from Eastern Europe have been flocking into the country and the late boom of get-rich-quick property developers promoted and supported by the conservative corruption.

I love this account. The best videos. I hate the fish-eye 4k accounts. This style is so much better.

In those years London, Liverpool were for me the top. All bands and groups were making hits all over the world. I dreamed about to be in Piccadilly Circus with the girls and boys, dressed so modern. Nowadays those years are really past time. I don't need to see what is happening now.
