Quite gorgeous styling. I love the bow with the cushions with little tables for drinks and snacks.

That is one of the nicest Catamarans I have seen, nice layout with the Galley below decks and a great crew area. Great video Hugo thank you.

    Great review Hugo.
I imagine the boat will spend 99% of its life at 10 knots or under. Very efficient and comfortable at that speed. Going a few knots more for hundreds of extra litres of fuel plus hull slap isn’t worth it!

I used to have a Lagoon Power 43, which has the correct 2:1 length to beam ratio. It was rock steady at any speed or sea state, even more so at anchor. This semi cat attempt will be the only time they build this way, as it's a huge mistake. My 43 had just as much space as a 60' monohull, but this one is just throwing space away for who knows what reason. It will roll even worse than a monohull in the wrong sea state. Hardly anyone build cats like this anymore.

Interesting boat. The owner runs it or with the crew. Charter boats may be but I think it needs one more bedroom.. kitchen would have to be moved. Not sure for me a family boat, not a sports boat. But a nice helm, on the fly bridge. I think I'd like more of a windscreen around the helm for protection against rain and wind. But she is an agile boat when turning.
Just wonder how many nautical miles to the litre of fuel. Or did I miss that. She'll do well in the Mediterranean or Caribbean.
Someone will be interested, who doesn't need a sporty boat, who wants to relax when cruising, - lazy day cruiser.

a day bed 3 feet away from the master bed makes zero sense. that space and the "informal sitting area" in the starboard main saloon need to be reworked.

At any time I would prefer Azimut Magellano 25m which is in the same price category but offers unprecedented luxury and comfort.

And unprecedented repairs and awful build quality.

Im a little puzzled why the length to width ratio is so different. My thinking is that a person buys a cat for the width it gives you. If you do not have that advantage, what is the point? Why not buy a mono hull? The interior materials and construction quality is almost always superior with a mono hull. So, for me, there is no motivation to buy this yacht.

Stability and efficiency over a mono hull. Much easier to find a slip vs a wide catamaran.

You are absolutely correct, it's a huge mistake. Hardly anyone builds cats this way anymore. They roll just as much as monohulls with no real space advantage over it. Waste of time. They won't be building a follow up to that.

Monocat.... It's one or the other!

    • @KimCJorgensen
      @KimCJorgensen Месяц назад

It's a complete mistake, you either build a proper 2:1 ratio cat or a monohull. This has zero advantage over either. Only less space and more awkward roll.

Didn't like that bang when it hit the small chop. Looks like it would be very uncomfortable in any decent amount of chop

There you go, nobody builds cats like this anymore. It's either 2:1 or a monohull.

The heavy in the shades needs to chill a bit! Looks like he's ready to take you to the ground if you're naughty! 🙄😂
Not sure about this boat. Always appreciate different thinking and style but it's a bit too strange and basic-finished for my taste, especially at that price. Not that I could afford one, pointless comment, really! 😂

Side rails look cheap , plus they need to be in the front also ! Nothing to hold onto but a rope ! Underpowered ! Inside helm looks like an afterthought ! No wind protection on the footbridge!
