Louis has a right to act liked he did
I think the reason Minerva killed Sophie was because Minerva was too far gone, she has completely given in, but you can kinda see the way she acts towards Tenn that she misses him, but her sister was trying to get away from their “home” so she probably thought “oh okay, this is the right thing to do!”
Spoiler for Episode 4
I won't deny that somewhere inside her she still felt some remorse for her murder of her own twin sister.
But when it came down to it, she chose the Delta over her friends and family.
Even over herself.
Look at the fact that she had once loved Violet.
From the looks of it, that just dissolved into nothing.
She defended one of them against the walkers, even though that one had already been bitten to death.
And then when she got bitten in the damn cheek, she was still mad at Clementine for destroying the boat instead of for the fact that she was now condemned to death.
I mean, a brain wash can't be that strong.
Okay, I'm no expert on such things, but she wasn't a toddler anymore when Marlon handed her and her sister over to the Delta.
Sophie, unlike her, was able to resist it.
Same with Violet.
In episode 3, she was pissed when they saved Louis instead of her, and she even turned on Clem.
But in episode 4, she came to her senses.
She could have blamed Clementine for losing her sight after all.
And at the bridge Minerva was practically already a walker who could only still talk and use a gun, who wanted to take her brother with her to her death, who had nothing left to lose, who wouldn't back down from anything anymore and who almost got Clem killed.
As much as I hate Lilly, we can't blame everything on her.
Lilly brainwashed her.

That's what I think too. She would cover her well and lie to Lilly and the others to protect her. Sophie may as well be hidden somewhere or inside Delta or elsewhere when she wanted to escape on a raft with Minnie, she was very good in creating a false death.
I put a question to Kent the creative director of Twdg on his account Tumblr (kmudle) regarding this theory see if it is possible, here is my question: Hello Kent, there is a theory circulating that Sophie would still be alive and that Minerva would not have killed her but rather hidden in the eyes of Delta. What do you think? And his answer: Sophie is dead, Minerva killed her. You can trust the text on this one, it would be pointless to deliver this big dramatic revelation that sets up the nature of delta brainwashing, Minerva's character, and Lilly's extreme measures, and then be like "nope it was all a set up for a twist! "So Sophie's death is confirmed. I had this hope that she would be alive or that she would see at least part of the episode. Seriously when Lilly talking about her destiny, I cried 😭😭😭

My same theory a month later.
Lilly didn't mention seeing Sophie dead.
Also I wonder if it's fear that keeps Minerva "Loyal".
Possibly fear of Lilly.
Then when there's a clear chance of escaping to a reasonable place maybe she takes it, after Violet goes to her aid (After Clementine fights her) and maybe talks since into her and at this point perhaps Minerva confesses in Violet's ear "It was either one of us or both of us get caught, so I told Sophie to hide, lied and told them I killed her so Sophie could get away."

Somehow I semi sort of don't believe that she killed Sophie.
James I see what you mean. I feel like she did but she was forced into doing it. She had trouble confessing to it when lily made her talk about it. She was pretty remorseful
@@jay-b1223 maybe in Episode 4 she'll become a Ally for the Boarding school again. Convince her or if she sees Tenn she'll gotta turn on the Delta. She was mainly concerned about him and his safety.

Tbh Minnie looks weak. Like seriously when Clem grabbed her with a knife, she started crying instead of fighting back. She also got knocked out/ got unconscious after violet/Louis shot her

Just think about it, what if Minnie isn't even Minnie? What if it was Sophie that killed Minnie, and the Delta told her to act like Sophie for some reason?

I don't know why but i feel minerva was the one who couldn't forget the school and tenn soo she scaped with sophie and well maybe sophie tell her to kill her 2:37 who knows?
