    The sun and a lot of modulation from the voice. I bet you could be heard phonetic locally for at least 10m also. Fantastic

    Awesome! Great to see. Just received mine this morning. Anyone tried it on a 9v battery? I gather you need 13.8 v to get 5w. But clearly even performs on much less 🙏😎

    Man, you have got me so psyched for some POTA stuff . . . I hope to do some of that in the next couple months with my (tr)uSDX. Only problem is my Begali Traveler key is bigger than the radio ;-) Take care & stay healthy! 73 de W8IJN

    David, would you be willing to do a comparison video between the (tr)uSDX and the Chinese uSDX that you have?
    I am interested in buying one of them and would like your opinion on which is the better transceiver.

      The original runs perfect in each mode. The chinese can be bad in all modes. Highly reccomend the original

    hi david..just for information, did you lower the power in the menu voluntarily, so as not to over consume, or did you leave it as it was originally?because no buffer batteries, and variation of the sun should not be very good for the PA...

    • @QRP.lifestyle
      @QRP.lifestyle  2 года назад +1

      No buffer batterys needed if the panel does about 1 or more W.
      If you are connected to USB it will be max. 0.5W no setting needed

    Wo hast Du denn das Panel für 20€ bekommen? Aktuell verkaufen das einige für 40€+ in den bekannten Plattformen. Scheint aber wirklich gut zu sein!

    Was ich mich Frage, wie kommt das kleine Ding mit der lauten Stimme zurecht und wie klingt die Modulation? Die ALC ist doch garantiert permanent am Anschlag. Ich neige leider genauso dazu, laut in Mikrofone zu bölken :D
