She's been coached to look at them any time she's about to perjure herself. It's a common technique in courtroom liars, it helps her to suppress body language which would show her up in untruth. Then again, she's not much good at it, perhaps better to just be honest? Actually she looks at them all the time, so, is she ever being honest? The strands of hair are interesting, they can be used to deflect attention from the eyes and give justification to the angle she looks at them. After 25 years in criminal justice, my opinion is she's hopeless. She actually has a very good legal team. They are keeping the performance on track. Without them to steer and almost humanise her, she'd be utterly confused and lost in all her twists and turns. Fascinating for us and, at last, a relief and entertainment at times for Mr Depp. Love those highlighted cheekbones! You could cut yourself on them. Very, very deliberate.
whats funny is that some of the members of lawtube was in the courtroom and they said most of the jury has been checked out already. like they stopped caring when shes on the stand
Worse yet: She has her own photo of her face being red (not swollen though) and there is another, less coloured photo in evidence that she claims was taken later. Her "proof" photo was just that other photo with saturation turned up. She submitted a photoshopped picture into evidence along with the real photo, and claims Johnny's picture is photoshopped when that's the only real evidence of physical abuse.
It's a huge mark and the people in the photo could easily corroborate seeing his face that way but she has called literally everyone else a liar but herself during this trial.

It is actually not that unusual for abuse victims to apologise to their abuser, for "transgressions". That said... evidence and the testimonies of a rather divers groups of people (cops, nurses, doctors, therapists, security, make-up artists, etc.) who have no personal gain in this do not only not align with AH's allegations, but rather point to the opposite.

I couldn't afford a good, private lawyer, there was no jury but just a female referee, and my case wasn't worthy of being broadcasted to the wider audience so the court ran a circus. There are many men who are separated from their families because a woman decided to lie. This has to change.

Pretend to beg and never fight. Be so demanding and boring and polite until they can't stand it!

In this case though Heard seemingly did try to capture 'evidence' that Depp was abusive - but somehow only the most mild things were documented, whereas all the very worst things she claims Depp did she says she did not take photos or recordings of. Either you're too scared to document it or you're not. If she was too scared to document it, then why was she not too scared to do things like secretly record audio of random non-violent arguments or take secret pictures of Depp while he is passed out?

At this point she's just trying to get away on semantics. It's obvious she has no truth with her. But, it all goes down to how the jury perceives this. If they also think that the evidence presented against her are just semantics and thus circumstancial, they could decide the case as inconclusive.

And even if Johnny had smashed a bottle and it broke, there's no way you'd get STRAIGHT LINES from glass flying at your arm. How? Try to visualize a piece of glass flying through the air and what angle it would need to hit to make a uniform, straight line. One short line? Maybe. Just maybe. Multiple pieces of glass hit her arm at just the right angle to ALL be straight lines? Literally impossible.
And since when does glass leave a wide "scar" that looks exactly like a pastic fingernail scratch? Glass can cut razor thin gashes, or leave no mark at all. It would take a precise amount of pressure and angle to leave a scratch that doesn't cause bleeding.

If your story is consistent and you felt safe in telling it you wouldn’t have to keep talking to prove a point or make things clear whenever you answer. It happened so many times during today and yesterday too. That lawyer is so patient.
I would have to disagree. I have been through gaslighting, and am terrified of people not believing in me and what I say and have experienced. This is the result of the belittling and minimizing that I experienced from my abuser for years. They make you believe that you are crazy and that no one would believe you. I therefore tend to overexplain and become distressed over whether or not people are believing in me even though I am telling the truth. Being comfortable isn't an indicator of telling the truth. Neither is being confident or not having to overexplaining. Usually, those who have experienced abuse are too broken down to even explain in a coherent manner.
I'll never forget Stabby Arias' expression when she heard the 'guilty' verdict. She was floored. She thought she had fooled everyone....she thought everyone believed her. Thank God they didn't.
If I understand the trial correctly, even if she loses the case and Johnny Depp wins she won’t face any jail time. The case is solely about defamation and how she ruined his career. So if he wins I think she pays him some disclosed settlement.
When a person tells that many lies and exaggerates the truth it becomes impossible for them to remember all the lies they told. Thats when they trip themselves up.
During the moment, the feelings feel genuine. She has a personality disorder so she goes on to those bursts of anger but then reverts back after cooling down, probably why Johnny also stuck with her through those years. But that was during the beginning. Pretty sure she doesn't feel anywhere near the same now during the trial.

She's been coached to look at them any time she's about to perjure herself. It's a common technique in courtroom liars, it helps her to suppress body language which would show her up in untruth. Then again, she's not much good at it, perhaps better to just be honest?

It's a huge mark and the people in the photo could easily corroborate seeing his face that way but she has called literally everyone else a liar but herself during this trial.

This woman reminds me of my ex. So many similarities. Yet, everyone believed the lies my ex told. I lost my case in an NY family court. I couldn't afford a good, private lawyer, there was no jury but just a female referee, and my case wasn't worthy of being broadcasted to the wider audience so the court ran a circus.

They tend to go away for ever longer periods. Hassle them back. Make your own demands. It's rough on your pride but great for peace of mind because sometimes that's the only way to get rid of them. Pretend to beg and never fight. Be so demanding and boring and polite until they can't stand it!

In this case though Heard seemingly did try to capture 'evidence' that Depp was abusive - but somehow only the most mild things were documented, whereas all the very worst things she claims Depp did she says she did not take photos or recordings of. Either you're too scared to document it or you're not. If she was too scared to document it, then why was she not too scared to do things like secretly record audio of random non-violent arguments or take secret pictures of Depp while he is passed out?

I have been through gaslighting, and am terrified of people not believing in me and what I say and have experienced. This is the result of the belittling and minimizing that I experienced from my abuser for years. They make you believe that you are crazy and that no one would believe you.
I therefore tend to overexplain and become distressed over whether or not people are believing in me even though I am telling the truth.
Being comfortable isn't an indicator of telling the truth. Neither is being confident or not having to overexplaining. Usually, those who have experienced abuse are too broken down to even explain in a coherent manner.
