    Great stuff! Which channel are you controlling the start/stop recording with? My mode selection works, but I can't get start/stop to work (it works through other wireless accessoires like the Smallrig controller).

    • @BeeSView
      @BeeSView  3 дня назад

      Hey, sorry for the delayed response. Start stop is channel 5. It is triggered so you need to assign a spring loaded flip switch

    Bro, I have an iFlight Commando 8 , I can get the pan and tilt, but i cant Start/Stop the camera. I'm using Commando 8, DJI Ronin RS4 and a Komodo Camera. Could you help me?

      Hi, if the controller does support s-bus, pan, tilt, roll, recenter and start/stop will work, changing the modes does currently do not work proper with the RS4 Pro, only for the older gimbals. if you Komodo works with the Ronin start/stop button it will with the RC controller as well

    Hey, since there insn't much to find about s-bus on the RS(C)2 i'm putting it here: Can i just use the "DJI Ronin 2 UART to D-BUS Cable (Part 24)' and connect it somewhere on the gimbal itself or do i need to use the extra focuswheel of the original ronin. Used the original ronin of a friend a few times to put it under a selfbuild cablecam which i controll with the FlySky i6S + iA6B reciever which has the s-bus connection.

    • @BeeSView
      @BeeSView  2 года назад +1

      Hey, no problem it’s a good place to ask. You need the focus wheel to have a sbus port on the RS2 and the connect the receiver with the UART to D-Bus cable

    • @rednas7207

      @@BeeSView tnx, don’t get why i need the uart to d-bus connetcor then, cauze i was connecting that reciever directly in the focuswheel

    • @BeeSView
      @BeeSView  2 года назад +1

      The sbus on the focus wheel is 4 pin while a standard receiver is 3 pin. If you can make that cable on your own you don’t need to buy the DJI one

    • @BeeSView
      @BeeSView  3 года назад +1

      Hi, if you are familiar with RC setups and configurations you should be able to configure it straight forward. Any specific question just ask. the Tantris sometimes have not full sbus protocol and you will therefore not be able to use all channels. There are reports that just the lower 4 channels do work most time. maybe plan for a Futaba radio to be on the save side.

    • @BeeSView
      @BeeSView  Год назад

      @@artworx79 if the wheel does double red flashes it needs a firmware update, can be done via the ronin app. Single red means disconnected so no camera with focus/zoom or a focus motor is detected what will not harm the control via a RC transmitter. Hey Mate, Just three questions.
    1. I see drift on the pan axis. Can this be fixed and is the fix permanent? Don't want to be fiddling with trims every time I go to use the set-up.
    2. Can you operate the roll axis at the same time as pan and tilt? The regular handles for the gimbal don't let you to move the roll axis when panning or tilting.
    3. I assume the remote control your using works with the Futaba receiver? I like the look of this radio so I want to use the same.
    Please let me know. Very keen on this setup.

    • @BeeSView
      @BeeSView  3 года назад +1

      Hi m8,
      1. I have no drift on any axis with that setup. Ones the center has been set it is rock solid. I have set a very small dead band on all sticks in the Jeti remote to not hit a axis unwanted while operating.
      2. Yes I can operate all 3 axis the same time. You just need to make sure you are not "oversteering" any axis. If you do, then the other axis are blocked until you release the oversteered one.
      3. I'm using a Jeti receiver as well (R9) with a FW (3.24) that does provide the Futaba Protocol. I use the DC16 remote because i have it for flying bigger drones. If you plan to buy one go for the kindly smaller DS16. Same functions a bit more handy and has 2 mimic type channels were you can apply roll and the control roll axis with mimic movement on the RC.
      Hope that will help you

    Are those gimbal motors strong? I'm thinking about trading my Ronin S with that.

    • @BeeSView
      @BeeSView  4 года назад +1

      Stronger than the ones from the S. The RS2 has a higher payload. I‘m waiting on the base expansion kit to have the gimbal on the car for rollers. Then I can tell you for sure. The S is fine to around 80-90 km/h until the motors will wave the flag.

      Not working at all? A flip switch or a button need to be assigned. In the Sero trimming you need to make sure the channel does not go to far to or over the endpoints. It’s a timing thing as well to flip the switch. To fast or to slow will not trigger the cam
