Sam always shines when Jake's guitar goes out of tune lol I love it when I can hear the bass lines clearly because the bassists are often underestimated, and I don't know much about music but when I watch them perform I know they're good. I hope one day I get to see them here in Brazil
Sammy is on the way to be on the list of the Greatest Legends, like Geddy Lee,Timothy Schmidt,Robert Trujillo,Pino Palladino,John Estwhistle..just to name some of my favourites.. Trust me!! Keep going Sam !!!
In Safari Song, when Jake stops playing the guitar it's like it was their plan all along, it sounded so good, and while Jake is tuning the guitar Sam keeps it going (if I'm not mistaken only Jake's supposed to play this part until the chorus) and it sounded good as well... Only the drums and vocals, then the bass, then everything together... To summarize, they make it right even when something goes wrong. Does anyone have the link to this performance?
Sam plays in the style of Jack Bruce, who had some of the most open and melodic runs as a bassist in rock history. Sam plays those high riffs down on the fret board - just like Jack used to. He will probably 'outlive' GVF and play with other top groups in his long career.
I feel like Sam's ususally sandbagging. 😕 Holding back his talent. As a bassist, a keyboarder (I was astonished to see this!: ruclips.net/user/shorts257lNGbnGa4?feature=share), performer and entertainer (he's funny and witty). I think he's going to start a solo career one day. I feel like he needs to.
Have you guys ever heard of John Paul Jones, John Entwistle, or how about Stanley Clarke? I mean c'mon now. This kid is very average and the band blows. Highway Tune is real cool, the rest of their music is horrendous. They actually bring their dork dad on stage to play too. I'm from Michigan, 60 miles from these guys, and I'm embarrassed when I see this crap. Maybe you kids don't understand the history of Michigan Rock and Roll.
Umm...what the fuck. You’re embarrassing yourself. Not sure why you’re listing off British bands while preaching about Michigan rock n roll. I’m getting so sick of this Rock elitist bitter bullshit people come at fans with. Shut the fuck up and stop getting yourself all worked up. It’s not healthy to clench your asshole for long periods of time.
Dang usually bassists are the quiet ones that keep to themselves in The band, but Sam has gotta be the most lively bassist I’ve seen!
it’s cuz he’s competing with his brothers for the attention hahahaha
It's all the tequila he drinks😀
Watch him in interviews. He loves to be in the spotlight, just holding back often - because of his brothers. Just like on stage.
I love me some bass, and Sammy certainly delivers it!

i want to be as good at bass as sam, he's absolutely killing it wow
John Paul Jones would be grinning ear to ear if he heard this stuff. Sam is really growing as a musician! 💫

1:40 I knew The Cold Wind was going to make the list!
HE'S SO UNDERRATED TYSM FOR THIS
WHERE IS THE BASS IN THE STUDIO VERSIONS. DID SOMEONE EAT IT
PHENOMENAL AS ALWAYS.
Sam will go down as one of the best bassists in rock history
A beast to say the least .
Cold wind had me shook
They are so talented ♥️🎼 I mean wow 🙌♥️
Love Sam 🥰♥️

He is a good bass player 💪
Yea, thanks for this.
💙
Does the bass always sound that good live 👁👄👁
yes😭 sam is so good
Just saw them in Rio three days ago, and FUCK YEAH, it does
I recommend this great performance where you can hear his bass very good, which seems rare: ruclips.net/video/z1r9JRskuM0/видео.html
Yes it does🥹🥹 he is unbelievable on the bass, on the keys, on the organ, literally everything he touches🧎♀️
Sam es la mamada, literalmente es un dios tocando el bajo.
Junto con el de la batería son los más talentosos
@@docnutriales6414playing is one thing, writing is another. We don’t know who is the strongest composer. My two cents, is Jake
👄⚘Amadinhos!!!!⚘👄
An Entwistle disciple, coming right along...

Plant and Page and Geddy Lee need to take these clowns to court!
A Page ya lo han llevado varias veces.
They are too busy paying settlement money to four generations of blues men descendants
I'm better than Sam but he's skinny and can wear all the cool hippy clothes soooooooo...........I'm out

@Northarg don't agree snowflake. Don't cry though. Are you the guy who said to leave Brittney alone?
@Northarg it's a comment section! You're alright.
@Northarg put on some Stanley Clarke
Jeff Grant, Average? Yeah ok what have you done, asshole? You can't do better so shut the fuck up.
