Thank you for the inspiring video. I pretty much followed your design for a king size floating bed. I used 5/4" yellow pine for the frame and used the Kreg Pocket screw jig for all of the joints. I skipped the headboard. What I like about this design is how there are no bed legs to hit your toes on. I put three coats of polyurethane on the wood prior to assembling.
I'm making a new bed for sure. Is white wood better than red wood as it holds less moisture and sapp or even tulip wood which doesn't worp it's a soft hardwood?
Hello I love the bed. Could you help me source hinoki wood? I have a dream to build with it, but I can’t find a supplier that would sell it to me in Ireland.
I wonder why the apparent natural inclination of oriental craftsamen is to pull planers and saws towards them, whereas in the west the natural inclination is to cut on the push stroke?
Wonderful, beautiful achievement and beautiful furniture, congratulations for everything, is it possible to get the sketch plan of this beautiful bed ?
Phenomenal work. I'm hoping to use this video to try my own build. If you don't mind me asking... I think I know what you did, but are the notches for the slats cut in or blocked. I'm thinking blocked because of the pin nailer you were using.
Love your design and would like to make this for my daughter, however, I'm unable to open the file from your website. Do you have a way to email it to me by chance?
Splendid design. But I think you should have use better quality of wood, these are good, but I think too noisy for bed, can hear cracking sound when you step on it. Anyway, good job.
Great looking bed and nice build. But what's the point if making the video if you don't explain what you are doing or give some kind of dimensions. I would have to look at this video about 50 times and try to figure out what he did to be able to do it. And what does the rain outside have to with building the bed? Waste of time.

I really like the look and function of the side table. A low bed is also what I want. The wood you choose is beautiful.
Belíssimo trabalho! Mas também não consegui deixar de observar o quanto é limpo e agradável seu ambiente de trabalho, nunca vi igual.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great job wonderful result👍 but l would like to know what is the measurements of frame wood (height and width and thickness)
I think it's better to put a thin coating of silicone on the mattress ribs to prevent squeaking noise.
Beautiful work! I'm going to include as much of the cuts you've created as I can. I don't have a table saw, so I'll have to be creative. Thank you.
Beautiful work, so clean, peace!

Queda mejor atornillar directamente o perforar y luego atornillar? en el sentido de que las uniones queden mas fijas.

I do not see how he attached the bed frame to the wall.
I didn't, actually. You can use angle-cut blanks something like in french cleat to the wall when you need to that
Did I miss how he made the legs?
