One thing I'd add to the crafting - it's one of the best ways to earn gold in game quickly and easily. Once it's maxed out w/ 50 across the crafting skill lines, you make 5.1K Gold (and about an average of another 10K more in mats) per character per day, just from doing writs. So for me with 6 characters that's 90K a day for < 20min of work and I'm on PS5. I don't have a plugin like they have on PC which makes it even faster. I don't know how many end game players I play with that never do there daily writs and say it's not worth their time, and then are begging for you to sell the Chromium Plating's for below market value because they don't have any money.
Been playing on PS4 about 3 months after launch then switched to PC about 2 years ago and what I do is I'll buy eso plus for one month buy a dlc with the crowns and I'll spend that whole month just farming everything I can pick up then I'll let it go out and play without it and when I start getting low on mats usually takes 3 or 4 months I'll get eso plus again and repeat. One little advice for New players is build a crafter it makes the game alot easier and your not paying gold for a crafter you can just do it yourself.
Do you not make adjustments to usersettings text file? changing MIP load skip levels, GPUSmoothingFrames and High resolution shadows values? Do these texture load high quality instantly in game.
Here's my experience as a new player. I start the game, create my character, log into the world. Wow everything is so beautiful and voice acted, combat is very meh, but tolerable. I'm doing some quest explore my surrounding, everything is so cool! I'm level 10 now, wow there's this thing - Dungeon Finder unlocked now, I gotta try it out! I get into one after a while, I load into it. There's a quest I can take, I start talking to the npc, the dialogue cuts off halfway in for some reason. I got kicked out of the dialogue, the npc is gone. Guess I have to go forward then. I start going forward, ominous combat music starts playing, like when I'm fighting a boss for a quest. I try to catch up to the group, 20ish mobs start attacking me on the way. I die. I resurrect, try to catch up again, same thing happens again. I try telling the group: "Hey, guys sorry, I'm new and don't understand what is going on or where to go, can you please wait for me. Also why can't i talk to that npc that was giving me a quest anymore?" I get told to "fk off" and next thing I know I'm out of the dungeon back at the place I where was doing a quest. Quickest uninstall of my life.
Re: Steam. When I bought ESO 4 years ago that was the only option for my country. I registered on ESO site, and it said that for my country I can only get it from Steam.
The Deluxe Necro whatever package with everything in it is always like $20-$25 on sales on Playstation and is worth checking out for that imo.. I played WOW and nothing else for years on PC from vanilla to Pandora and would never play WOW on console if it was ever ported, but legitimately enjoy this more on console for some reason... Maybe its actually not having to deal with add-ons or what those do to the servers and prices and auction houses and gathering and everything else and as long as the servers are locked between consoles, its fine playing an open version without addons as nobody else is using them.. Also, dealing with add-ons themselves was always a headache for me.. My friend used to just make his own, and when I first started, just adding them to the game and getting them to actually run properly or work could take a bit and you always had to rewrite files and rename crap I remember to get the folders to work and yeah its been well over a decade so no doubt ALL of that is automatic now and very simple, but just the memory of it all is enough for me to always go with a stock version if im able to now and nobody else on my server can use them, thats fine with me.. Personally, I HATE mods and add-ons even more now anyways as I grew up and learned more about corruption and laziness in gaming.. I think Starfield is a big hunk of empty crap that wasted 4 years of bethesdas time SOLELY because of mods... I watched an hour long video completely lay out how basically they made the game as a blank canvas for modders to do all the work and them to just cash in on.. I dont believe the benefits and quality of life improvements outweigh the negatives of what is going to happen and is happening because of mods and add-ons.. Also, I think a game should be complete by the developers on day 1.. There shouldnt be a SINGLE thing gamers can think of to improve the game that the developers missed for years to come after a games release beyond personal preference crap... Now should mods still exist and be implementable in games? Yeah, but probably not until several years after release or when we are into a new console generation.. It shoukdnt be illegal or impossible, but maybe it shouldnt be allowed or should be completely restructured how it works... Anyways, im rambling... Decades long OG WOW player though that only plays ESO on console now and havent played WOW since Pandora.. Ive started plenty MMORPGS since and went back to Runescape, another one I had maxed out at one time, and none stuck... So I wanted to chime in about the console/PC decision... Sorry for the long comment...
Tip number 0-A. Don’t play/think or even assume ESO is anything like Skyrim. Because the crafting, combat and interactions work’s completely different than Skyrim. And I wished Skyrim would have character models like this.
My only issue with this game is the sensitivity. It is at the highest and feels insanely slow to turn. That is my only issue though, other than turning super slow it is a pretty good game
My 2c for new players: 1. don't stand still and let the enemies attack you or stand in their AOEs! learn to dodge, kite, and be survivable. too many players with a lot of CP get used to overland and beginner dungeon content and then get a rude awakening when trying to solo a WB or do PvP 2. learn when to interrupt, when to dodge, when to block and when to kite based on the enemies telegraphs 3. leave your ego at the login screen and listen to advice when given by experienced players. you don't have to TAKE that advice, but at least listen 4. don't be satisfied with being shet. you are better than that. there is huge joy in being good at a game 5. when you start doing RNDs, don't be annoyed with people that want to run through them at warp speed. it's cuz we've done them 2000 times and are only doing it for the rewards. If you want to do a dungeon slowly, join a guild that offers that
You just said "it's because IVE been here 2000 times. Don't use the in game mechanics that I'm abusing, go get your own guild"?!?! Bro. I get it that it's "Normals bro". But guess what? You queued for GROUP play. Y'all try that Runnin shit on Vet, too. As tank or heals deeps always run a head and die and complain to me that I'm not keeping up. Lolol😂😂😂😂 go kick rocks. Help lowbies. Wait for the group. Regardless if YOU want to play the dungeon, there's THREE other people in here. And a LOT of times y'all kill the boss before the level 15 is even done accepting the quest!!!! FG1? Y'all blow past the first boss, jump off the cliff, kill the dreugh king and leave. Meanwhile the lowbies CANNOT complete his quest now. Fuck you and anyone else like you. I'm CP1100 vanilla player. I don't have the CP you guys have but played LONG before you. When the Normal dungeons were actually hard. When you could ABSOLUTELY wipe on FG1 if you had a level 25 tank and the highest player was over 40. Cuz back in the day the dungeon scaled to the highest player in the group. IDC about YOUR keys or YOUR time when your the squishy deeps who's only there for the gems. Or you're the fake healer or fake tank that's polluting the queue taking away from people who WANT to tank or heals. Gtfoh
I'm gonna go ahead and say that 1 is worth mentioning its also important to not move too much. If you keep dancing it's very easy to move targets outside your aoe's, step outside of any potential buffs. Honestly a lot of the time as a healer I wish people would trust my hot's more. Archers staying way too far back, people sprinting between targets, my buffs are important people
You do HAVE to take that advice or be kicked for bringing the group down. And as tank i control tempo of dungeon. You go at my pace or you are kicked/waiting at last boss for a long time.
@@xbon1 huge lulz. Control the tempo of the dungeon? Entitled much? You think I wait at the last boss on RND? If you are so devoted to controlling the tempo when playing with randoms, you might get to the last boss and find a corpse. "leave anything for us, John?" "Just bodies"

Yes, and the craft bag is the one and only thing that is worth the price of ESO+. The amount of crowns that they give you is lower than the discounted rate which come up periodically and you can simply buy crowns for in game gold (but be sure you trust the crown seller.)

I am thinking about starting again playing an MMORPG but dont know which one. only ESO and New World are appealing to me, but New World looks like dead just by looking at the player numbers. on ESO i dont know if its worth to start at the PC from scratch... also the problem from Zenimax are still concurrent which is driving me away from ESO... i feel like in a hole and dont know which rope i should pick to get out -.-
I pre-ordered the imperial edition on Xbox, was max level and CP and played until after Morrowind, buying all the DLC that came along. Haven't played console since 2019. I recently bought necrom on steam and I can say I've been having a blast, PC let's you play in ultrawide, and if your PC is nice, 100+ frames. The additions are great, zones are great, and most importantly, ADDONS! They make any MMO much better with customizable UI functions like movable action bars, unit frames, and other UI elements, adding a minimap, having Skyshards/lorebooks/literally ANYTHING on the map. I could keep going. Plus keyboard and mouse ftw If you're considering it, do it, trust me
It's news to me that the 'console version died already out', I've been playing for 2.5yrs now. While I have no idea how many people are on ESO on PSN there's enough instances going on in many zones that if I didn't 'travel to player' or was in group with then while traveling to wayshrine that I'd be in a different instance. I've traveled to enough wayshrines directly when auctions where going on to know to travel to someone at the auction to get into the correct instance.

Join a guild with reputable crown sellers and buy with in game gold.
The craft bag alone is worth the price tag on eso+ imo
The value of ESO+ imo will simply depend on how much time you’re going to spend in ESO. Don’t need a craft bag if you’re not playing and getting mats.
@NefasQS true but if you plan on committing time to a mmo let alone eso it's worth it because you get a lot for what you pay for it each month
@Captain Lonk unless you save like 2 3 months of crowns from eso+ then you can get a banker or shop summons
