I dive at CVS too. Few weeks ago I found some tin gift boxes that had chocolate cookies that retailed for 54.99 each and they weren't even expired. I found 6. I can't believe what they throw out. Good score you two!👍❤

Blended Abode, on your skinned veggies a soak of apple vinegar & water for 15 minutes will clean them.

Shoot when I was a little kid we lived above a grocery store and the guy that owned it used to throw out the best produce, we always had plenty of fresh veggies. I guess mom probably wasn't the only one that got food from behind that store.
No indeed so many do it. We wait till it gets nice and cold here again to go.

I agree, and this is just a tiny amount. One night we found almost a full dumpster full of brand new unopened cases of merchandise. It's just terrible.
It use to be grocery stores would put all the veggies in barrels and have the local pig farmers pick it up.
Now we got people need that food, shame on them grocery store for being lazy.. They could arrange for local food banks to get the food. It is just not saleable, but it's still. edible. You know like when we have food in our home with a bruise we just cut off the bruise. OUT in AZ a pastor got four grocery stores on a list and had volunteers go pick up the food when ever the stores called him.. I used to work as a volunteer for that cause. The food was always different, sometimes all bread, or veggies, or milk even meat but none of it went to waste, it all went to the people that need it the most.Looks like you can make some onion soup.yummmm I wish we would save all the food, have a no waste policy.

We don't go the the grocery store in the summer. only in the winter and that's when we are less likely to meet up with those critters it seems. However we do see stray kitties.
I agree 100% about what you said too. I think all store should be responsible and have to do this.
In France they are making it law not to throw away food.

Disgusting how these companies can throw food away when there Really so many hungry people . In my town in South Africa, companies donate all food that has reached their sell by date to charities who feed the poor, disadvantaged and homeless people.

I always wondered about that because in so many videos I see so many bottles thrown in trash.

You can easily find out where you can recycle all of the plastic and glass in your area. It's a shame to throw all of that in the garbage to fill landfills when it can be recycled. You can even get paid for turning in glass and plastic at some recycle stops. Please do it for the environment.
Those stores could recycle those empty bottles. Doesn’t your state have a recycling program?

Ours has cameras out back too but it's not illegal. So we don't have any issues from the CVS.

To me, I think when it's in the dumpster that isn't illegal because it's trashed. If cops can take garbage at homes for their work and not be considered illegal, what's wrong with taking from dumpsters? Plus your doing so for a good cause.
