I think a Maserati biopic is just what they need to get people back into their brand and in their dealerships; something to show off their heritage and legacy not only to car people but to the general masses; a movie that will make someone not interested in cars to walk out of the theaters saying, "Wow that was a great movie," and they'll share that with their friends spreading the name Maserati around until it's a popular a word as Porsche. It wouldn't be too ridiculous to get people into a movie about cars either if you can make it emotional and relatable to a regular move goer, like people who don't watch boxing but saw Rocky or people that don't watch baseball but saw Angels in the Outfield. People love a strong female protagonist too, they could have Maria portrayed in the movie. All I'm saying is, it would be a hell of a publicity move by FCA to get the name out their again.

I dont think Maserati stepped up to their game with the Levante. It looks like an expensive infiniti qx50. I think they should have gone with a Bmw X6 kinda look. That would have been better.

I really like nmaseratti as a brand. And I wish I could say I like the design. Unfortunately, I don't. The front grill reminds of a jeep. I see no maseratti pesonality in the front end, whatsoever. And a V6? Cars are getting generic by the day.
The car is somewhat attractive. Headlamps too much mustang. Overall pretty boring outlook from this car, mostly because of the poor presentation. Air in a CAN ? cheap metal can ≠ prestige. Overall the presentation tried too much to encapsulate everything, on road, off road, speed, comfort, efficiency... thus failing to convince in all. The promo short video was way better, the tagline "...we didn't. We've built a maserati" - really liked it. Other than that too much of everything executed poorly. The only thing i loved without any reservations - the engine sound.
Great, you've made an SUV. How about a minivan? Or a coach bus... No wait, let's make a Maserati semi truck. That obviously fits in with your brand. Look, I know even Lamborghini once made an suv, but they had the excuse that they used to make tractors. Let's see this go up against a Unimog, Lamborghini lm002, Mercedes G63, or Hummer H1. Those are real SUV's. This is an oversized, overweight, sports car wannabe.
Sad to discover, that the car looks really bad. Very poor and tasteless design - everything is just thrown together and sprayed over with tinfoil confetti. Exhaust sound is good though.
