Peter!!!! Thank you for showing the chateau listing. If I would be in my 40s, I would buy the small chateau. I turned 74 in November and don't think I could talk my husband into moving to France! One can dream, and I hope a follower will take up the challenge! I look forward to more if you decide to vlog. Say hello to darling Anna
Ah Carolyn, good choice on the smaller one, especially after what we've been through! Stay with us and yes we will be aiming to do regular vlogs again!
I think I’d like to buy the chateau apartment - that means I can pop over to France from Australia whenever I want without the huge concerns about maintaining a full chateau. 😉
Yes the final one is a bargain in a sense but really needs people with a big vision and big full bank accounts. Would make a wonderful resort style opportunity with treatment rooms, cinema, office in an out building set on the river and add a tennis court and pool and good to go with suites and luxury rooms. It has a nice character about it. Thankyou for sharing Peter, hope Anna is well. Its fun to dream
Thank you Peter for showing these properties. All are unique and in beautiful countryside locations . The smaller chateau was lovely and I really liked the apartment. But at my age no way will I ever be able to afford something so grand. But lovely to see them. Have a great weekend and hello to Anna.❤❤
That was really interesting, you are very knowledgeable about the properties and you explain the lay out so well I felt like I was walking through the buildings instead of looking on photos.Have you ever thought about being an estate agent you would be great.Joking aside it’s lovely to have you both back on your blog, you have the most amazing ideas when you are making/repairing things and it’s a real pleasure to watch xx
This was the best! I really enjoyed touring places that are in the realm of possibility. I was not even aware that you could purchase your very own part of a chateau, which seems like a good concept as a way to save some of chateaux that would just cost too much for one person to keep up.
Thank you Peter. Very interesting! I enjoyed seeing what’s available on the market even though my wife and I are not in a position to buy one. It’s a form of what some of us in the states call “window shopping.” Sometimes it’s just as much fun to dream about what you can do with a property than having to deal with some of the hard realities. Thanks, again.
ohh lovely! I can but dream. I would love the institution one where all the roof and services are in place already. All that space! I would fill it with dogs and cats, not chandeliers and gold leaf
The apartment is beautiful and the grounds would suit me doing my photography etc. Its my favourite especially as I am on my own. It appears to have the least work, and in a really lovely part of France, I would prefer to be away from borders. Peter does it say how many apartments make up the chateau?
I love the second one and a easier size but I would find that arrangement too stressful especially the world we live in today 48 months is a long time.. Family dynamics can be strange with property and inheritances.. It would be a no for me..
Now 28.11.24………. Haven’t seen any Vlogs of you Peter and Anna for a long time now ☹️ Have you both decided to stop with your channel. Shame if you have gone from RUclips permanently. Take care Regards from a subscriber 🙂
Why are these lovely buildings left ,🎉although where I live in Scotland the landowner lets all the old Victorian farmhouses fall into disrepair..It is criminal...😢

That was fun!
Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful chateaux with us. Good price but a lot of work. And like you said how much it costs to heat.
What amazing opportunities you have shown. Thank you!! ❤

Wauw the last one ❤
I was taken back how the "realtor" talked about how much it would cost to heat this chateau. Some realtor!

That was wonderful. My dream is to buy a chateau in France. 🙏
Hello Peter .. I loved the mirror above the fireplace in the first one.. it looks homely and cosy
Splendid fun seeing these chateaux!! Thanks for sharing the pix and commentary!
Thanks for showing the property oh to be young enough to take one on so much value no.2 was my favourite

Oh, I adore the second little chateau you shared. Dreamy!!
You could not buy a semi detached house in much of the UK for the price of these properties.
Interesting video Peter, thank you for sharing xx

Wow, last one looks too good to be real. 😅
The third on is classic and if you had the money to go to town and were a couple it could be amazing the most attractive so far on the outside
Lovely

I want the 2nd one.
Thank you very much .its amazing. I might want to buy one. For aprox 200000eu do you know how much the fees are?

All petrol heating systems will be illegal as of the January 1, 2025...so the furnace need to be changed to something green...
Would people buy a place that they can't have until 4 years later?
its about a cheaper price for the initial purchase, seems odd but quite common here!
Chateaus only in the name.
Purchasing a Chateau and then waiting 48 months to take possession 😂 no thank you.
