We use rotel or pico de gallo, and we use White American and Velveeta or for the purists Colby Jack and Mozzarella! I like your tip about a little comino powder!! You didn't really give any measurements. For someone who has never made any of these before, it's kinda hard to judge. And at today's high food prices, you can't afford to do a lot of experimenting. Especially when on a fixed income..

We made the salsa dip, so so good. Spicy with leaving the seeds in, but so darn good. The cheese dip is wonderful, just know that it cools off it gets very very thick, in a small crockpot it would be perfect.
There are only two things I’d change on these.. 1) The onion dip I add one large diced onion that I’ve caramelized. 2) The salsa.. I like the salsa that is served warm so I’d take that recipe and just warm it up. I love these videos!
I think a true French onion dip it needs a little beef bouillon in there. French onion is all about richly caramelized onions.. Where does the rich French onion flavor come from in this version?

Add caramelized onions to your onion dop....and Bleu cheese and salted mushrooms to fancy it up for an adult party.
