Hi, I’m Keir & I was in the video with Frank, playing the piano. He was so nice to me & it was a dream come true to work with him. Stuart Alexander, the film director, is amazing and the video he has produced is incredible. We watched the first edit backstage at the Cardiff gig which was such an amazing experience. Huge thank you to Stuart & Frank. ❤️
Hi all, I'm James. I was a PA on this shoot and I also play the annoying pub singer. Yes, the shirt and shades are really my own! As a die hard FT fan for a decade and a half now, it feels incredible (and a little surreal) to have worked on this and I'm overjoyed that resonates so much with you. Stuart captured the spirit of the song incredibly well. As I worked live and saw the raw footage I knew we were making something special. I am IMMENSELY proud to have been a part of this video - if I hadn't, I'd love it just as much. Hope to see you all at a show one day! 🤟
I'm sure this means something entirely different to frank, obviously, but I'm currently going through quite serious therapy for longstanding dissociation problems resulting from trauma due to childhood abuse. when I listened to this album for the first time, I immediately put this song on repeat. I had it on repeat for an hour I think. it speaks so fundamentally to that feeling of alienation and disconnect I've felt every day of my life despite trying so hard to be present and let people in. and I'm very grateful for it. sometimes when words aren't enough we borrow someone else's. this song speaks to my heart. thank you for always being vulnerable and sharing your music, mr turner.
You’re welcome. I really like your phrase: sometimes when we can’t find the words we can borrow someone else’s. By synchronicity or strange coincidence I ended up reading an interview from 2008 with Adam from Counting Crows talking about what he went through and how he decided he needed help and after a few false starts found the right people and really worked hard to be a better him. Frank’s fans are good people, the comments are positive and I have read many posts by people saying one of his songs, or remembering his words have saved their lives, one going through operation on their brain, one lady giving birth to baby Dylan whilst watching one of Frank’s lockdown gigs from home. Being brainy, his parents wanted Frank to get a “ proper career” sure he could have been a surgeon or lawyer saving lives; but only one at a time. As a musician he is helping thousands and thousands of people feel better with his words. All the best to you.
This is one of the best songs you’ve ever written, truthfully and this music video is one of your best too. As a lifelong Frank Turner and Million Dead fan, this was extremely emotional to watch.
Sometimes, just sometimes, a video enhances a song … and this takes a wonderful and moving song to an absolute other level. This video makes the song hurt and the two will now always be intertwined for me.
Absolutely nailed it. Brings a whole other dimension to the song. The raw, unaddressed emotion that sits under everyday life affecting the people around us, the confusion of growing up and asking "is this all my life is?", mourning our youth (as mentioned in Letters); it's all captured so beautifully in this video.
This song breaks me every time. #1 on the whole album for me. So good, so painful, so relatable. And the CD and picture montage 😭 Half my fucking life...
Best song on the album, easily, and definite all-time contender. Frank is at his best when he's just punching you in the heart over and over. And what a video! A glimpse into the life of some other universe's Frank Turner, I suppose. This world might kinda suck but at least we got a lot of really good FT albums out of it.
This has easily got to be the best music video from Frank yet. From day one of Undefeated, this has been my favourite song from the album for sure. A beautful, cinematic masterpiece and left me sobbing :') Thank you!
That’s one of the most moving music videos I’ve ever seen, that accentuates a moving song. Well done to all involved, had me in tears, and that’s a compliment ❤
a song to ruin for me. I love harmony no harmony, but i just wish the guitars were recorded better. They sound thin and hissy. I wish someone would give me the multitracks so I can re-mix it... not that i'd make it any better... but at least I'd feel more rested knowing that I'd had a go.
Brilliant songwriting! I love it! It's weird to see Frank without his tattoos, though :D Also, he could have been played by Pedro Pascal. The resemblance is uncanny in some of the shots! #FTHC
Holy Shit. I’ve always loved this song. But I am literally in tears right now. That was the most emotional, incredible video I have ever seen. But goddam I’m glad you took the path you took.
I shed a tear watching this, listening to it, again. Haven't had a visceral reaction to a music video in i dont know how long. Thank you. Fuck you. I'm better off numb.
Awesome song. As always, thanks for sharing what's going on in your head because that's how you manage to make a deep connection with people you don't even know. I was in Harrisburg for the first live performance of "Somewhere Inbetween" and we loved it. We'll see you again soon!
Dear Mr. Turner (I know that triggers😅) you're sure not alone with this feelings! And thank you for speaking out what we others are not able to ... Your fan Sebastian from Germany great Punk Rock and yet still I love these Songs when you share parts of your life with us! ! ! Sm
Wow. This video hits like an emotional bomb. The song is amazing. The video is just wonderful too. Very artful and emotive. Stuart definitely made some very bold color choices and they pay off. Sometimes you just have to set the Dehancer plugin to 11. That's just rock and roll baby.

@@keirmills8767 great job! Such a moving song and the video reflected it perfectly
😎
I didn't think anything could top "Redemption", but this did. What wonderfully, glorious, sounds Frank Turner makes.

What are you singing there? You're made for the stage!
Frank you’ll never read this but we were in the same art class when we were 15. Your music has meant a lot to me over the years. I love this song.
Hi James, I'm just another fan, but thank you for sharing this with us. 🥰🥰🥰
You can email him! He responded when I wrote him💖
@@Catxnxmouse Same. He's always responds.
Hi Frank, totales skipped your new album… now i feel
sorry! Will hear it def tomorrow at work. And hey btw… brillant video w/ a deep message 🙏🏼
He sees 👀. ❤
"I remember being underwhelmed when I worked out who I was." Damn, right in the heart. As usual.
No other artist has resonated with me as much as Frank Turner.

We are strangers, with at least one thing in common, we appreciate Frank Turner. We care about you 💜
@@janeparis1705 you are so kind. thank you 💚

I know the back catalogue is immense, but in my humble opinion, this is one of the best songs you’ve ever written.
YES!!!
Beautiful song by Frank, stunning video by Stuart Alexander (I’m the old teacher 🎅🏻)
Gordon J Millar
Actor
Marvelous job - it's hard to get across a role like that in such a short span and you nailed it.
I saw him play this live and it is such a powerful performance. I was in tears by the end of it.
He played this live in Buffalo. I think he was crying as well. It was incredible.
This is one of the best songs you’ve ever written, truthfully and this music video is one of your best too. As a lifelong Frank Turner and Million Dead fan, this was extremely emotional to watch.

One of the best Frank tunes I've heard in a very long time.
Reminiscent of the "England Keep my Bones album".
Very nice.
Probably Frank's best music video ever shot. We need you back in Mexico

Might just be the best song you’ve ever written Frank. Incredible. FTHC
This is by far Frank’s best video. Well done.
Whoa. What a literal gut punch of a video that brings the song that much more to life.

I've listen to this song so many times but combining it with the video just took it to another level, stunning
Can't belive all the comments saying this is your best, hard to belive i agree. So heartfelt feels so true
This has easily got to be the best music video from Frank yet. From day one of Undefeated, this has been my favourite song from the album for sure. A beautful, cinematic masterpiece and left me sobbing :') Thank you!
The song is so personal to me at this point and the video is amazing. But my god it's strange seeing Frank with so little ink.
That’s one of the most moving music videos I’ve ever seen, that accentuates a moving song. Well done to all involved, had me in tears, and that’s a compliment ❤
Best song on the album ❤
Harmony No Harmony is one of my favourite albums

One of my favourites from the new album. A beautiful song that gets to you, especially after just losing my dad 😢
Brilliant songwriting! I love it!

What an emotive video. Chasing the what could’ve been’s is an interesting concept
It eats up us guys as we navigate middle age and have to reconcile the opportunities missed if we're to find peace for the second half...
Fkn brilliant video for this amazing song. Goosebumps.
Love that video, brilliant song from a brilliant album too
Goosebumps! Love it!

Nice to see some Essex countryside in the vid Frank
Tollesbury 😎👍
Amazing video for a great song (definetely the favourite out of all the album). Very emotional. Love every bit of it! Great work ad usual, Frank! ♥️
You've never written anything I agree with more. And that's saying something. Thank you, man - truely.
Well, now I'm crying. Incredible!
Feeling very seen. Hell of a video 💜
And here comes my mid-life crisis again. Thanks Frank!! (Said sarcasticially but in truth very thankful for this very timely song)
Such a powerful video. ❤
Getting so emotional every time I hear this song. You did it again Mr. Turner. Thanks for letting us in ❤ fantastic video, lots of love.
I have seen the future of rock and roll…and it’s in good hands ❤
Loving this Frank. It's been a long time, life, eh? Im glad to be back ❤
Frank, thank you so much for continuing to make music. I finally got to see you last night in Lincoln and you made me cry tears of joy.
What an amazing video. I have listened to the song many times and loved it but this video really gives it an even deeper meaning
So very beautiful ❤️
I shed a tear watching this, listening to it, again. Haven't had a visceral reaction to a music video in i dont know how long. Thank you. Fuck you. I'm better off numb.

Wow! This was already my favourite song off the new album but the video is immense!
Great song and amazing video!!
❤❤❤
Thanks Frank. This song made me realize I was able to get through a similar time in my life. I felt happy for a moment. I hope you feel that too.
Such a beautiful song!!
Beautiful song, I love Frank most when he's at his most reflective.
Stunner!

This is brilliant. The return of Frank Turner.
One of Frank's finest songs IMO
Brilliant, just Brilliant
I love this so much.
Wow. What a video. As with many others, much resonates. Beautiful.
Rock and roll is still alive and well! Thank you FT!
I just had 2 beers and just got done playing guitar..this song is hitting me right in the feels right now ❤😮😢
Thank you, for this.
Incredible video for maybe my favorite song Frank has ever written. Goddamn, what a masterpiece.
This painfully reminds me of my life in my early twenties when I temporarily believed I was done with music. 😢
Why does the song have to end so soon?
The ending is phenomenal, I wish it got looped a few more times 👏😍
What a quality song!
Wow. Just wow.
This better be alluding to a Harmony No Harmony 20 year anniversary reunion tour! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
great video, love Million Dead :D
intense and catchy, making great art :)
Love it!

I'd love this with the acoustic version. It's a beautiful song, but the acoustic version feels like a punch in the soul.
Love

i gave my eyes to frank turner.
🔥🔥
F*** you Frank, you’ve brought me to tears with this video. Keep up the amazing writing and unlike your other song Thank You For The Music. ❤
a stranger to myself indeed, hope you are okay frank x
Its a great song anyway, but that video is something else. Wow.
Wow. This video hits like an emotional bomb. The song is amazing. The video is just wonderful too. Very artful and emotive. Stuart definitely made some very bold color choices and they pay off. Sometimes you just have to set the Dehancer plugin to 11. That's just rock and roll baby.
Now that's what you call fucking music!
Nice
This sounds like it could have been written by Tony Sly and No Use - an excellent song and the performance in Chicago was amazing.
I read some FHTC cross on someone's cars rear window so i reversed image searched and found this guy
That’s quite ingenious. Hope you are enjoying Frank’s music.
Do we only exist in the imagination of teacher Frank?
MILLION DEAD
Errrmmm wear did Franks tattoos go 😂😂
He has released an unscripted chat with the director where he mentions he covered them up.
