Madeline Hayden asks Can I resubmit act scores if I take it at the end of October but am applying ED1? To answer your question, yes, you may submit test scores for EA/ED1 for tests taken through the month of November. Test scores may be self-reported through the myTCU portal.

Audrey Brown asks Is there an option to submit a portfolio to supplement an application? If yes, is that directly through the CommonApp, or via another platform? To answer your question, portfolios may be included as a Freedom Of Expression and uploaded through the myTCU portal

lauren crish asks Do you offer rolling admissions or is it Regular Decision? To answer your question, transfer applications offer rolling admission. First Year applications have a set date that decisions are rolled out for each deadline.

To answer your question, all applicants are automatically considered for scholarship. None of our scholarships require a test score. In fact, more than 80% of our fall 2023 scholarship students did not submit a test score.
zodi asks What high school year should you start applications? To answer your question, students may not begin their application for college until August of the senior year.
Jackson Solon asks How many years do most students live on campus? To answer your question, TCU has a two-year residential requirement for entering first-year students. So most students live on campus for at least two years.

Our Chancellor's Scholarship, which includes full tuition, requires an application to the honors college. The honors college application is found in the myTCU portal for all applicants.

Meredith Hines asks If I apply to pre health and I’m not accepted to that program, can I get accepted to a different program? To answer your question, application decisions are final. If an applicant is denied, they are invited to apply a different semester as a transfer student.
Joshua Fong asks will showing demonstrated interest help in your application? To answer your question, your counselors are available to answer questions and help you ask you apply to TCU. But sending messages just to "demonstrate interest" will not help your application.
Kristen O asks If you are accepted as early decision and then receive an athletic scholarship from another school later, then what? Students who are not 100% committed to attending an institution should not apply as Early Decision. The Early Decision agreement is a binding contract between the students, the parents, the high school counselor and the college. If for any reason you believe you will not fulfill your contractual agreement, you should not apply Early Decision.
neginaz1 asks is there a disadvantage to applying without a test score as far as merit scholarships? To answer your question - no there is no disadvantage to apply to TCU without a test score.
