Edit to add: i struggled with all but Dami's name for over a year, what really solidified names for me was the "this is..." Series and watching their variety content. Knowing their personalites helped me hugely with names and faces

Breaking Out also has an album, The Beginning of The End, and aside from some Japanese versions of songs, there are other unique tracks... Intro, My Way, I Miss You, Outro. Plus the Japanese MV versions of Piri and what do have some scene differences.
"Fly High" is probably the poppiest of the Nightmare arc. It was not done by their usual production team as well. But it makes sense, since this is a prequel, so bringing in a bit of the Minx sound makes sense to me. There are really heavy parts in it as well, which clearly state that they are not Minx anymore. And I love the dark parts thrown in, they really make the song special. The light part sung by SuA after the metal break is in major, while the rest of the song is in minor. That is why it stands out so much. They did the same in Good Night, but a lot shorter. About the MV: You can see Yoohyeon burning the spider, which brought the curse of the spider queen down on the members. You will see the spider queen again in You and I. In Native American mythology, spiders are considered protectors, that is why a Dreamcatcher resembles a spider's net. That is a brilliant connection to their name! 😊 In "You and I" you can see the spider queen coming for Yoohyeon. She is the old woman that is being photographed - only to rob Yoohyeon's spirit. Also, earlier we see Dongie being pinned to the wall by needles, what is usually done to insects. For me, Yoohyeon's spirit is being pulled out here and thrown into the white dimension, which we will see again in Piri. The spider queen takes over her body, which is why we see JiU try to free Yoohyeon (without success) and grab her neck in the end. I highly recommend to check out the dance practice as well, because Dami does something very special that didn't make it into the MV.
Love both of these EPs. Wake Up was actually pretty low on my list for a long time, which just means I liked it but didn't love it. But then I saw them perform it in an online concert and it completely changed how I feel about the song. It's still not my favorite DC song but it's definitely moved up in the ranking. Sleepwalking just speaks to something from my childhood. Every time I hear it, I feel like I'm back in an Arcade playing Cruising USA or some other racing game. It's just so nostalgic for me. Trust Me/It's Okay is my favorite ballad from the Nightmare series. They all sound so good on it and the messaging in the song is really beautiful. I LOVE Mayday. The studio version is very similar to what was in the special clip, though the mixing in the special clip isn't the best. It's definitely a "live" recording which is why its mixing and levels are not the best. The band members in the clip were all InSomnia who had won the opportunity to play for the girls, which is just insane. The fact that they did that at all is really cool and shows how much they love their fans. Which-a-star is a really cute song. My favorite version of it is when they did it live on a radio show. I love the call and response in the song and the dynamics between the really hard-hitting parts and the soft vocal parts. Beautiful song, I just wish it had been promoted more. Jiu and Yoohyeon, Yoohyeon and Handong, Sua and Siyeon, are the pairings that most people struggle with. Don't feel too bad about it, Handong's own mom thought Yoohyeon was her daughter at one point during BEcause era because they looked so much alike. Looking forward to Alone in the City, End of Nightmare, and Raid of Dream!
Dreamcatcher's intro are always so good! And you got everyone wrong but Dami lol But for the song "Mayday" you got Siyeon right!!! On "Mayday" they were all insomnias who plays instruments and won the competition. I think the subtitles were on in that special clip, the first insomnia is telling that it's a dream coming true or something like that. And "Wake Up" lyrics video is so bad lol but that's okay. Ohhh and "Scar" was completely written by Dami!
Yeah, I had to quit one reactor after like 8 videos because all they did was try to guess members in every video and still weren't getting them right. It was too constant to bear any more of it.
