You are nice. When you live in Wrocław, you don't see everything you see. But I am glad that you liked Wrocław. I encourage you to visit smaller towns in the area. Wrocław is the capital of the region - Lower Silesia. In this region there is a picturesque mountain range of Sudetes. If you like nature and hiking, I encourage you to climb a not so high mountain visible from Wrocław - Mount Ślęża, which is the Slavic Olympus with sculptures from Celtic times, the mountain towns of Karpacz and Szklarska Poręba and take a ski lift to the highest mountain of the Sudetes, Mount Śnieżka.❤
Thank you so much for the recommendation. We love nature and hiking and this area sounds amazing! We were able to visit Zakopane and loved it. Poland has so many beautiful cities and so much to explore. We want to come back and see more ♥️🇵🇱
@@SlowTravelWithUs When visiting Poland again, I recommend seeing the beautiful city of Gdańsk, architecturally different from the rest of the Polish cities on the Baltic Sea.😀
Wrocław is cool, it really has so much to offer that it's hard to keep up. You didn't mention ZOO, which is one of the largest in Europe, but as I said its hard to say it all.
Thank you for watching our video! We loved our time in Wrocław. We didn't mention the zoo, we learned about it on our last day there and didn't have time! 🇵🇱❤️
Why do some foreigners insist that there are gnomes in Wrocław? Why do they use this name? Are a gnome and a dwarf the same? In Poland we only have one gnome, he lives in Żoliborz in Warsaw. There are dwarves in Wrocław. In the 1980s, during communism, there was an opposition organization that satirically demonstrated its opposition to communism. Demonstrators took to the streets wearing dwarf hats and shouted: "There is no freedom without dwarves." The militia and other communist services were confused.
These types of sculptures are known as gnomes in the US but thank you for clarifying the correct term to be dwarf. We learned the history behind this and the bravery of these individuals fighting communism in such a clever way. Thank you for watching our video.
