    195 is plenty for me, I rode an R1 with around 190 and oh my god it was bonkers. So much fun though, and going back to my 70 some odd horsepower FZ-07 was painful. I have barely ridden my FZ since I got to play with some supersports because it's honestly boring in comparison. The surge of power that you get out of an inline 4 is a lot more exciting to me than a lumpy twin that gives you everything down low and then dies at the top end.

I'm owner of motorcycle repair shop, i do oil changes, repair's, shocks, tire changes and all of the other stuff with wide arey of brand's, and for the last few years sometimes i was struggling with some bikes because of the electronics and the lack of proper diagnostics tools. Recently i was exploring my option's for the dyno and Ecu flashing, faulty code deleting, exhaust valve turning of, ext..... and now i'm completly lost in all of the tools on the market and brands. So can you help me to determent what is the best options for me. ( if required i will buy few tools does not mean to be one tool ). i was looking in to Ktag v2, WinOls version for Ecu remapping and other Ecu stuff. And for quick change services limit or ABS or faulty codes i was looking in to Healtech it requires 3 tools for each Yamaha Suzuki and Honda. Allso i can use Healtech hardware for at the moment see in to the running engine parameters . For the dyno i was lloking in to the simple dyno with hall sensor and O2 for the exhaust and Rpm reader... What is your opinion.

    Hello Brock Davidson
    I enjoy all your videos. I like that you post some secretes and how ECU reprogramming squeezes power out a motorcycle. As for me, I have been riding since 2001 and there has been one motorcycle that has been the hardest to flash and reprogram. That being the CBR1000RR! If you ever get the chance to this bike pls post what ever information you can... there are plenty of people who have this bike and would love to see what you can actually get out of it. Thank you for all your hard work and pls keep posting.

I would say it's a fluke but I talked my buddy into doing all the same upgrades and he made in the low 170s just like me these bikes don't make over 190 on pump .The videos were a great selling point but the numbers aren't true or your dyno show unrealistic numbers

    • @mikegeer9658
      @mikegeer9658 5 лет назад

      Watch stock baseline runs vs gixilla. Regardless of dyno #s this bike went 9.88@147 right off the showroom floor. When Brock is done with it I will see 9.0s-8.90s@158-159 mph! That's a huge improvement! These #s will be achieved with a 160-165lb suited rider. Considerably better #s with a 130-140lb rider.

    • @BrockDavidson
      @BrockDavidson  5 лет назад

      @Lamar - all dyno's read differently. We use the Dynojet Model 250I as it's the standard. Some brands would only show you 150 for a bike that would see 190 on the Dynojet. As far as mapping goes - completely remove the PCV and you will drop MAYBE 5 hp...so any large gains through mapping are BS. Please read this FAQ and give us a call if you have any questions: blog.brocksperformance.com/faq/how-can-brocks-get-mapping-so-close/

      Yep. 140 or so on a Factory Pro....they are all just measuring devices. Yardstick,ruler,caliper, mics, etc... as long as they leave with more than you began with, that's all that matters.
