As a Vikings fan, I've been hurt so many times for believing in my team, that I'm deliberately choosing cautious optimism instead of hope. I recognize the season we're having, but I also recognize that this is my Minnesota Vikings, and they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory better than any franchise in any sport
Yeah, and there is this tendency to over celebrate here. The Gophers making the Final Four got a parade. Then it was over. The Minnesota Miracle was the Minnesota collapse that took a miracle to win. Everyone acted like they just won the Super Bowl. Only the confetti was missing. Then the next week against a Philadelphia team they should have beaten to play in the Super Bowl at home they choked big time. And having watched every Super Bowl loss - I'm with you. This year the trap is they actually win the division at home then they get the bye. The Vikings lose after the Bye and the Lions go to the Super Bowl to play Buffalo.
@@usa91787 Actually it's Detroit who has the biggest monkey on their back. They haven't even been to a Super Bowl. Both Philly is tough and the Rams know how to get there. Just enjoy the ride. It's got to be better than losing.
@@DupedDeluxe well we have some good depth on D , Remember Bo Richter was in the rotation and made the tackle for no gain on the Bears first 4th down attempt. I like this guy, he has a good motor and he’s as wide as a house. But the Bears only score came off a blocked punt and it was a 4th down play, so basically a garbage TD.
Sammy Dimes had a great game even though his QB rating was just 74.1. If Jefferson doesn't drop that easy TD and KOC kicks the FG instead of going for it on 4th down and forcing Sammy to throw it up for grabs on the INT, he woulda had over 100 QB Rating!
I know. As a Raiders fan I've watched Derek "Junk" Carr throw the ball away and spike it on 4th down just so he can protect his stats. He's the biggest gutIess QB in NFL history! So I love QBs like Sammy who don't give a F and just slings it down the field.
@@jamslam5641 yea, Sammy threw some darts but let’s face it , he was off much of the night. The big surprise to me was JJ’s drop. He just don’t do that very often.
The Darnold Interception wasn’t even a mistake. Once KOC decided to go for it darnold either had to take a chance on a 50/50 ball to JJ or take the sack and let the bears have been field position. Darnold really had nothing to lose with the Pick
Love the videos man. The way you talk about the vikings is like your a fan but we know you like the packers. How can you seem so positive about your rivals idk but I love it.
Hey Will, appreciate the content. My Vikings are peaking at the best time. I truly believe we’re going to win out and win the North. We have a great chance at the 1 seed as well. Could the NFC playoffs be going through Minnesota? Hope you have a great Christmas Will. SKOL4LIFE
I can take another Let - Down by this team . I've been watching this team since S.B.XI . However this year it feels different . We've been clicking all year and we're a complete team . All I know is we're coming to a town near you . SKOL BABY 💪
i actually have a bail out for that int, he was doing a 4th down conversion, and int or catch, both pushes the starting line for the opponent offense back a little bit, one of the worst case scenario for a 4th down conversion is a sack or a pass incomplete
With the pick, the ideal outcome is a complete pass for a 1rst down. Sam was about to get sacked and an incomplete is a turnover to so that int was essentially a punt the best outcome from an unfortunate play
I say everyone has bad days and off games. Sam Darnold was just not doing his best and missing a lot. But it says a lot about the Vikings that we can win by such a significant margin on a day when we're NOT on top of our game.
As a Viking fan the NFL is glazing us like crazy holy crap. I don't believe we are literally the face of the NFL when we know we will just blow it all away in the playoffs.
we are NOT the face of the nfl nor are we getting glazed lol US vikings fans are the ones hyping it up. i never see anything about the vikings each week on sort of platform, no matter how good we do. we are doing good and people see that, but everyone else doesnt believe we are a contender.
sam darnold didn’t play particularly amazing like he has for a lot of the year. we were sloppy with penalties and made mistakes and we still dominated one of the better defenses in the nfl
Sam I Am was holding the ball and looking around way too much last night. He does way better with rhythm and timing than with scanning the field. The 5 td game is a prime example. He misses the open mid range receivers a lot because he either throws deep or throws short. Unless Jefferson is the midrange guy.
Vikes are not out of control. Typical Vikes cycle years, suck, suck, suck,OK, good, pretty good, great, wow, holly crap! .....then all over to the next cycle. How many Vikes fans are alive today who lived through the Vikes lost 4 SB`S years.! That number remaining gets to be less every day! Thanks I was too young to care at that time, but now it is almost 50 years since the Vikes lost their last SB! I aint getting younger! I hope at least a lost SB 2027! 50 years!
I’m guessing we watched a different game . Darnold was off most of the night as far as his accuracy. And the uniforms? What’s up with all the silver? Let’s permanently retire this uniform.
Yea fellas, I get the winter white out thing, it’s the silver I got a problem with. I thought the face mask would’ve looks better dark purple, but to me the silver was out of character.
@ yea, seems like it was the middle of the game when I first heard about his finger and they said that it did not affect him but I think it did because he was missing some guys. But I knew nothing about it till mid game or so. Hopefully it’s better this week against the Seagulls
Update I did win my match, see u guys in a day or 2
Congrats!! You were the bottom seed?? Insane!!!

Cautious optimism for sure ! One thing I can tell you is good defenses seem to win super bowls and I like our defense !
You forgot the cowboys
Gotta leave the past in the past.
The bears one touchdown was against our BACKUPS!!! They came in around 10 mins left In the game. Not all about the box score. Skol 🎉
They would have scored another but the lineman in the backfeild failed to report

Great call on the Darnold INT.. Not only was it not a 'bad' pick, it was an arm punt on 4th down.

@@christianaugustine9490 I disagree, the Vikes were in field goal range already when Sam threw the pic. Shoulda takin the points

Sams interception, it didn't matter to me. On 4th down interception. Oh well 🤷 they tried on 4th down, and I liked the risk KOC took on that drive.
Ngl The Vikings are a NFC Threat💜💛💜💛
“Good teams find ways to win” is all you need to think about when it comes to judging if Minnesota is a good team or not.

Bears defense is supposed to be Bears’ strength. Thanks to Sam Donald’s ability to navigate Vikings’ through it to get the win.
Also AJ's ability to find holes lol

Basically a short punt. Best possible outcome for a shit play call
When we don't play good, we still blow teams out...

The lions are in trouble. Their injuries are stacking up hard, the door is wide open for the division now.

If the Lions lose one more, then it's over. I'm sick of it. I would rather have the Lions play as the #1 seed than play on the road as the #5.

Why even mention that interception. If Jefferson hangs on to the perfect Donald throw on the same drive there wouldn't have been a 4th down play.
How many seasons does it take Sam Darnold to win a Monday night game something Kirk Cooked Cousins never could?

Sammy Slingshot!!!
The vikes played terribly yet still demolished the bears
Vikings didn’t play great, and still won by a lot… only thing that scares me, lots of 1 score games this season.

Green Bay is capable of beating the Vikes. Cheers!
Any team is capable of beating any team.
0-1 so far

Perhaps but the Vikings are very capable of beating the Packers and Lions.
When the Patriots were on their Superbowl era, my Brothers team the Dolphins could beat them when nearly nobody else could.
They are playing alot of crap teams
We play our division twice each per year and that is the most dominant division in the NFL. Yo! SKOL!

it was just winter whiteout, they only do it once a year.
