We had a MASSIVE German Shepherd that would simply pick me up by the scruff of my clothing and return me to my designated spot if I got up and wandered off when I was knee-high, I think he knew what kind of beating I would've gotten if I had wandered off.
He was so good in so many ways, RIP.🙏

Wow! I'm never a person that are fun of dogs or animals! But by watching these survival clips of animals change my whole concept on dogs, I can't believe they are that smart, oh my gosh, so amazing! It brought tears to my eyes watching these stories, I'm thinking twice about getting a dog😭 they are awesome creatures I always criticize people for acting as if dogs are humans but I now realize why!

This old portuguese man broke his leg on his farm, and he only stayed alive long enough for someone to notice he was absent for several days because he's little female dog kept him warm during the night, and during the day she went and got oranges and other fruits and vegetables so he could eat something. A little dog, that's all it took to keep him alive, amazing.
Animals always are doing good things for humans but humans don't respond in the same way sometimes.

Aren't animals great that's why we love are pets and we love them like family and they are our best friends in most cases better than human because your pets will always remain loyal stick by you through good and bad times
They don't care how one looks or how tired and messy from work they are always so happy we don't deserve them. My dog does more for me and expects little I love her.

Smart dogs knew they were lost and stay put.There was a guy lost in the jungle he didn't stay put and keep walking he got rescued after a month.
My family and I live on a 68 acre farm surrounded by miles of forest. We have two dogs, one is a hound mix and the other is a pittie. For a fun exercise that our dogs love to do, we play a sort of extreme hide and seek lol. I'll tell my husband or one of our kids to let the dogs out half an hour or so after I leave the house and, in that time, I'll hide somewhere in the fields or forest, always somewhere different. Once the dogs are let out, they pick up my scent almost immediately and set out to find me. We do this at least once a week and they always find me within 10 minutes or less, even when I'm hiding a mile from our house. The main goal is to exercise the dogs in a way that they seem to really enjoy, but a secondary benefit is that it's training them to find their humans, which is a skill that could save a life when you live in an area like we do.

@@stardust5207 - I am going to say this since you are the second person to say that. I KNOW the person knows the kid made it! That is why I didn't say anything about the kid dying. I asked if they were CONCERNED about the kid because the person said they came straight to the comments because of the dogs and NOT because they were interested in the story about how the kid ended up in trouble! It was a joke because the insinuation was that they cared more about the dog than they did about the kid - hence the LOL. I KNOW that they could tell the kid lived from the title! LOL...we ALL could tell that. It was just funny to me that the person came for the dogs when dogs are heartier than humans and will survive in situations where we wouldn't.

Our family dog when i was young used to guard my sister and i when we were babies by sleeping near our cribs. Oneday my dad took the dog for a walk and some street dogs approached my dad ready to attack him but our dog saved my dad by attacking the leader of the pack and they all ran off.
