I bought this at Hastings in Greenville, TX in 1999 and stayed up many nights in the back room where the PC was messing around on this program. Saved all my work as .wav files. I can see the Windows 95 interface now.
    Thanks for the memories!!!

I didn't have the hard drive space to save wavs 😂

I loved this program. Many hours spent making songs.

Dance Ejay 2 & Techno Ejay 2 were the two best ones they ever made, dance ejay7 was a confusing mess that was extremely buggy. dance ejay2 is awesome for doing remixes been using it since 1999

I liked Dance ejay 7. A lot of the bugs were due to compatibility issues with the DirectX API.

Dance ejay 3 and 4 were great too

I absolutely love Hool. I recently purchased Techno Ejay 2 again from the Ejay store and it works on modern Windows systems, so if anyone wants the nostalgia back, go grab it!

Technically this is Rave Ejay 2. - cleaner interface and more tracks (double the amount from 8 to 16)

You can hear a lot of Cold Storage style in this. Supposedly Tim Wright contributed to eJay and you can really hear it (composer for early WipEout gamess)

He designed the Virtual Music Studio series. Which is Dance ejay 7, R&B ejay, Techno ejay 5, Hiphop ejay 6. He isn't affiliated with anything else I don't believe. When this program came out, Tim Wright was working for Jester Interactive. He didn't come to Empire interactive till a few years later.

Track 2 in this reminded me of The Green Martian - Computer Weekend.

Where's the track that was an mp3, that track was banging.
"Ejay is the key" was the vocals on it
