Thank you, I have for many years the Lenscal and I need to adjust my D850 and my Z6 that are failing me, I needed to recover the memory and what better with your updated video.
The built in spirit level of my brand new lens cal is completely out of center. It is useless! Adjustment with my "eye level" was far more precise and sufficient. Thank you for the video.
Thank for this great video, I also want to check my Sigma Art lenses so I also bought a Sigma dock and a Lenscal to do so. This video is a bonus for me because I also have a D850 and love your explanation about calibrating a DSLR.
Mike my 70-200 f2.8 not calibrated after trying this process. Still it shows back focusing and reads 2 as sharp point even if I set the value to -20. What's the next?
I'm confused, the Syperlenscal guidebook says to put the focus on the smaller square right by the ruler not the center of the larger squares to the left
25 to 50 times the focal length - of you go with 25 times 70mm and then 50 times 24mm, add the results together and divide by two you get 2.075m. Give that a go. Hopefully you didn’t wait 2 years.
Thanks for the very informative video. Could you tell me do lenscal have a distance tool available so I can measure different lens distances ? Many thanks. :)
great tutorial! thanks.
Superb presentation
What I didn't like about the mirror less system is the exposed sensor. Canon EOS R made the right move to cover their sensor while changing lenses.

I have the d850 too! Just bought the sigma 85 art 1.4 and I think I have to buy the sigma calibrator too
I can only really see this being useful for like a studio where the camera is always on a tripod that never moves.

If I have a 24-70mm, at what distance should I position the focus chart ?

Focus chart aur camera ka distance kitna rahega sir ji
This doesn't make sense: you first set the spirit level and then move the tripod....

Look for a video called "Datacolor SpyderLENSCAL Demo, available in RUclips it is very informative".
@@patrickmariescurrena8591 Thank you Patrick, i have just seen your reply. Much appreciated. I will check it out. :)
I am using Maximafoto which is a similar product and this one has no such a tool.
Great video and instructions, excpept you are talking metric with your camera then the distance in feet - how confusing Get with the times USA
I know. Who in the right mind mixes systems. Optics and anything related with is metric.
FFS use cm, m etc. Stop imperial crap
waist of money
