Faisal is an iconic voice for all generations. It was nostalgic to see him sing but heart wrenching to see him without bilal.. i miss strings.. the last song titled as phir milenge is so fitting ❤️ and what a way to sign off.. in bts zulfi sings the Faisal part as he wrote it and its magic in itself i wish he would have sung in the song too. CS season 14 farewell.. until next time. A round of applause for all the CS team for giving us this magic. And Thank you for the magical reactions throughout the season. Love and respect from Pakistan ❤️

Random fact: the line by Talha Anjum "taveel hai gham ki shaam, kahani mohabbat ki mukhtasir." The second part is the titular lyric from "Kahani Mohabbat Ki" by Strings, a classic Pakistani pop song. Faisal Kapadia was a member of Strings. Fun reference. :)
I am totally blown away by Youngstunners' lyricism man but I've to admit Faisal Sir caught me on this one , I can't really tell which one's my favourite in this season cuz there are many of them but I've to say that this is the most relatable track among all others especially the Faisal sir's verse ... Just pay attention to the lyrics ... I was thinking that it was mine ... "Fir milenge kabhi ajnabi ki tarah isi aas se dil mein subah hoti hai" this one hits different ... Freakin amazing ... And with this, the season 14 comes to an end! What a way to finish it off with the great Faisal Kapadia (of Strings fame). You need to RUclips strings band. They sang a few Bollywood songs too such as Yeh Hai Meri Kahani, Aakhri Alvida, Spider-Man ost, etc. Faisal and Bilal innovated Pakistani music with their talent from 1988-2021. They disbanded last year much to fans’ dismay but their voices are like fine wine.. they only get better with time.
Both Faisal and Bilal also spearheaded Coke Studios few seasons btw from Season 7-10.
Check out their awesome songs like Sir Kiye Ye Pahar (studio and live versions are awesome), Duur, Anjane, Ankhain, chaaye chaaye, mera bichra yaar, Dhaani, Pyar ka Rog from Velo Station, etc. They are legends!!
You were so right about Younus’ melody being similar to Afsanay and Gumaan. I also was like not too impressed there but then his lyrics were nice. Anjum was of course rocking it out as usual. But for me, Faisal Kapadia stole the show with his vocals. And he made me miss his band mate Bilal so much 😞.
Funny that you said strings and violins so many times and knowing Faisal Kapadia’s band was also called Strings. What a coincidence, eh… and then u mentioned Spider-Man .. him and Bilal produced and sang the ost of its Desi version u know. Their song Najane Kyun was that song. What an awesome coincidence 👏

mukhtasir is summary but its used in the context of "short" taweel hai gham ki shaam kahani muhabbat ki mukhtasir means that the story of love is short but the night of sorrow is long kind of like that

I get what you mean by "guts to listen to some tracks". The same happens with me when I try to listen to "wish you were here", and this track too, there are soo many lines which just keeps playing on a loop in my head. A beautiful track.❤️

Great emotional reaction to a great emotional song, we deserved this ending to this season, the glitch in the green screen in the beginning and the instrument boxes in the end at the edge of the dawn basically is showing that its time to pack up this season and phir milenge in the next season like an ajnabi and start from zero, so the narrative fits both the theme of the song and the end of CS14's amazing journey.

Subcontinental music, especially Pakistani music and especially Coke Studio still takes pride in its meaningful lyrics of the songs. There is poetry, a story behind every sentence, a theme that carries in the song. A thing that is getting scarce in songs. Hollywood is now only about music lyrics that are just there to complement the music.
It has become a unique outlying aspect of coke studio.
