One of your few female football fans. Listen often but don’t comment much. Been going to Ducks games with my dad since the late 80’s. I’ve seen the good, bad and ugly Duck football teams. Looking forward to a run (at minimum) for the PAC 12 title in 2023. Go Ducks!
I'll listen to your play calling. I think you can be a good broadcaster. I'm not normally a fan of your coverage of Oregon, in that I think you could say all you do in half the time. I am just a fan though. I don't do what you do. I think you are the best produced show about ducks football.
ALWAYS happy to talk hoops on here, if you've got any thoughts just hmu and I'll answer any question you've got! Also, been talking hoops in some form or fashion to end each show pretty regularly for the last few weeks. And that'll continue
Honestly, I’d rather talk off-season recruiting than about being a top seed in the Not Invited Tournament (NIT). Rough year for Bball, hope the rebound (pun 100% intended) next year, maybe with Bronny
How does that affect football at all? Oregon was already open to what the best option is as far as conference, etc..... What does this actually change? I could see it affecting hires is another sports. Or maybe.... Future contracts????
Hey Spencer, if the B1G's overall target is Noter Dame, wouldn't Stanford/Cal be their first choice over Oregon/Washington? And if that happens and the 4 corners go to the Big12... (worst case scenario) where would that leave the Ducks?....
Notre Dame's contract with NBC ends in 2025. They are expected to use the Big payout number as a negotiating backstop with NBC. The last estimate I saw had the NBC deal in 2025 comin in at $70 Mil per year. While that number is lower than the Big payout per school Notre Dame doesn't have to split the bowl payout with any other schools and for playoff games those payout are large. Lastly, Notre Dame has a huge merchandising revenue stream so they aren't hurting for money. That allows them (just like Oregon) to take a smaller media contract and still have parity. Should NBC balk at that $70Mil number then that's the scenario where we could see Notre Dame join the Big.

Thanks for supporting the show, appreciate you all tremendously :)

It's like Ronald Reagan but I would love to go by Mr. Garrett. I appreciate the response!
Also I think Dan lanning is going to bring alot of good young energy as a head coach that will help alot in edging it out in more games
Of course man thanks for the great Q!
Go Ducks!!!
It can't hurt getting a guy from the BIG. Better than getting someone from Texas Tech.

You bring up a good point, one I think I agree with--I'll dig a bit and answer it tomorrow!

@LockedOnOregonDucks Thanks Spencer! Always appreciate you. Keep up the good work
Please, more football, less basketball.
