3:32 one note if you are thinking of giving allium as a gift to a friend-does that friend have a dog? If so, and if your friend doesn’t have a big fence around their garden to keep the dog out, you might want to choose another flower to gift to you friend. Allium are toxic to dogs. They are related to garlic & onions. Perhaps choose Wild Bergamot instead.
Am I the only one that can't hear the lady speaking? Sad because I'm very interested in help for growing in colder climates. UMN, can you fix this and upload again please?
A huge expanse of blooming plants and not one pollinator in sight!! All these cultivars have been developed to attract humans, but apparently they are totally worthless for butterflies, bees, moths, any flying insects. So if you want to create a food desert for any pollinators, it looks like these are a good place to start.
Loved seeing all the plants but the background music was so irritating I couldn't watch it all at once. It was very distracting. Please don't add music while talking.
I appreciate so much finally someone who covers plants for our Minnesota zone. Thanks 😊
Thanks, Debbie! You're awesome, and I love your Minnesota accent! This video was super helpful and filled with beautiful plants 😊
Loved the presentation but not the music
Interesting stuff. Wish you'd show more for shade.

Hard to hear her with background music. Found it distracting.

I can hear her fine.
Pretty bad when you can't hear on max volume. Otherwise, good info ty
Thanks for all the info! Will have to look for one of those Salix shrubs with the silver foliage, never seen one like that.
Love that Penstemon!
Very helpful as I plan to replace some trees with a borer with good screening plants.
Any evergreen shrubs?
I’m in TX so most of these beauties aren’t for me, but enjoyed watching. Thanks.

Great info, but why is he annoying music? Maybe skip the background music next time.
Dracula's Drippings is SO much cooler than Spot On

Lady bugs lay their eggs on Veronica!
Had to stop watching...constant background music is too distracting
