Hi, I don't know how you can kill elephants so easily, they don't attack you, now I tried to do the same and they have several attacks that hit you, they charge without moving and when you get close from behind they hit you, then they throw stones at you even if you are behind them and also, sometimes they hit with their trunk to one side, moving 45 degrees at once, it's not as easy as it seems xD
So the devs changed the attack pattern of the elephants in a recent patch. So the method for that now is similar to the video but you need to avoid 2 slam attacks. One standard slam and then one where he will slam left or right. You should still be able to stay behind to avoid the scream attack. Also don’t go near the feet as they smash you

Yes, there are 3 attacks that damage you but they can still be avoided by rolling and staying behind the elephant, the only problem is when it gets stuck stepping without stopping, it is impossible to get close sometimes xD I solved it with a partner, I stay behind the elephant and it focuses on me, spinning around, at the same time my partner hits the elephant from behind and the elephant only spins around itself, chasing me, not to the partner who is hitting him ;V
I have to try it with other animals and the alpha elephant, but I'm afraid... haha

It works very similar to the elephant shown in the video. Only difference is that it will do an attack where it will spin around either left or right and slam. Just stay at the rear and spam dual blades. Also if it does activate the hyper armour where it glows gold then avoid the feet as it does stomping damage but you can still kill it with daggers.
That's what i figured but the one on our server i think is bugged its always glowing and we are the only ones on the server that can kill it so its never been killed before
