@@BulbinABox ach krass das dass bei uns so gut geht dachte ich nicht, hab mir erst vor kurzem eine Sammlung zugelegt da ich eigentlich Hoyas sammle, mein Mann wird schon wahnsinnig 🤣
Vlad your blooms are spectacular. what a visual treat you must provide for your Neighbours .... I wanted to ask you - on average how many days does a bloom last when it opens from start to finish ? i know it may vary betwen cultivars but i would still like to ask you based on your experience .......keep the videos coming
Thank you! it really depends on the temperature and humidity. If kept out of sun and if it is not hot, then at least a week. In a cool room they can last 2 weeks or more (each flower, not the whole plant. the whole plant mucg longer!)
Where I can buy those lilies they are so beautiful I would love to have a couple of those if you can help me and I’m not sure you selling those they are so beautiful
Do you ever rest them for forced blooming? How do you propagate them? Or do you just buy them whole without resorting to any kind of propagation? You have such a beautiful collection :)
Naleeni Das Thank you for your kind words. They normally rest from about November to March, in my cool room, where it is about 10 degrees C. They normally produce offsets, especially if grown in big pots
@@BulbinABox Lovely :) A cool room would be ideal but I simply can't spare the room in my fridge either ): Therefore, I have resorted to resting them in a cardboard box to stay dry. So far not all produce flowers but keeping them in a dark box seems to to work for some. So, I do get my scapes :)
@@BulbinABox yes, I lift them out of the pots. Leave them under the awning where I dry my laundry for a week. Then I cut off leaves & partially the roots before packing away in boxes. I live in Malaysia, humid weather :)
Very wonderful collection, I have a type which I don't know it's name. I will be grateful if you can tell me it's name. Can you send me your email so I can send you a foto of it?
I am hooked,I can see I will be watching all your postings. Its your passion for these flowers that show and inspires.
