I just discovered Amy Harmon last year! I will read Where the Lost Wander and it was my favorite book of 2024. I want to read more of her books, including a Girl Named Samson 💙
I believe I’ve found the place I need to be for a reading through time challenge. I’m coming along. I’m so glad I found your channel and this video. I will order the first book today. Thanks for inviting us.
@@AlmasBookJourney OK so that comment was supposed to go on your decades video! LOL And on that video, I have read a few of them yes. In particular, Christy and 1984 and Dear Daddy Long Legs. Great books! Although 1984 was very hard to read.
This looks like such an interesting challenge! Of the books you mentioned, I've only read "the Wreath." I need to get to Ivanhoe one of these days! It's definitely on my TBR. "A Girl Called Samson" is also on my TBR, but I've never read it.
I really enjoy Amy Harmon so I loved A Girl Called Samson. The Wreath does sound interesting. Hopefully I will get a good translation to read. Thank you for watching! ☺
That is great, Essie! The Gutenberg and The Wreath books. Those sound so interesting to me. I hope you are able to find them at your library. I am going to be on the lookout for them at my library sales too.
@@AlmasBookJourney That sounds like a good idea. It would be easier for you to do one (I think ) for both or would folks get confused? Then again, we could just mark our comment or comments for which book it was.
@ Ok I will do that. Thank you so much for the idea! I will make plans to make a video at the end of the month. I will also try to remember in my next month's TBR video to say I will do a video at the end for those who are reading along!! Thank you!!

I think you will enjoy A Girl called Samson. I have read 4 books by her and enjoyed every one of them.
It's so interesting seeing all the different books!! I am taking part in both of them which is exciting!! 😊
That is great! I hope you are able to find most of these books at your library.
@AlmasBookJourney Hopefully I will already have them at home (at least I'm trying to do that) although some I will definitely need to find! 😊

Wow you've got such a great lineup here!
Have you read any of these by any chance?

@ I enjoyed Daddy Long Legs just recently finished it.
Interesting TBR picks; I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts about each book. 😊
I tried finding books that I was interested in the topic. Some of these I had never heard of so we shall see!
@ yes we shall and I hope it is all positive

Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy the Journey Through Time Challenge!
I plan to join for all of them. I made my list. I have the Jan one.
Yeah! That is great Claire. I hope you are able to find all the books.
I may have to buddy read Ivanhoe! I have that and want to get to it this year
Yes, I think I am going to need some encouragement for that one!
I am planning to buddy read with you for your July and Agust picks for Centuries. I had not chosen those yet.

Alma, are you going to do a video after you read your decade and century reads or where should we comment after we read them?
I hadn't thought about how to do that. Do you think if I did a video at the end of the month just for those 2 books that would be the best?

@@AlmasBookJourney I read Daddy Long Legs in one sitting. ❤
@ I am half way through that one.
