SALEM'S LOT is about a writer named Ben Mears who returns to the small town of Jerusalem’s Lot (aka Salem's Lot) to write a book. He soon discovers that a powerful vampire named Kurt Barlow and his human servant, Richard Straker, are turning the townspeople into vampires, culminating in a terrifying battle between good and evil.
During the chilling "vampire at the window" scene, young Ralphie Glick, who has already been turned into a vampire, floats outside his brother Danny’s bedroom window, tapping on the glass and calling for him to let him in (ya know, as vampires do). The eerie, fog-filled atmosphere, combined with Ralphie’s pale face and glowing eyes, makes it a truly spine-tingling scene. It’s one of the most iconic vampire moments in horror, showcasing the film’s eerie tone and atmosphere.
