Oh, glory, one of the most unintentionally funny movies I ever saw. Some friends had it on a video disk and played it when they had me to their house for dinner. When people change size in movies and on TV, their clothes automatically resize with them. The only garment I ever saw that didn't make the transition was The Incredible Hulk's shirt.
I don’t see it unintentionally funny. And the movie is terrible……..However the idea of the movie does have fascinating weirdness to it that’s admirable. And I like the movie poster to the point that I bought it and it’s hanging up in my house
I first saw this movie in the early 1960's on our black and white tv set. It was scary. Funny and caused us to have a lot of questions. The husband gets his just reward, for sure. Love this movie.
As as an 11 year old boy in the 60's, I couldn't get enough of this movie.Watching Nancy in that little white outfit! Much better than the National Geographic.
Those aliens of the 50s sure do love landing in small rural towns... Like just about everyone else in the comments section, I first saw this film as a 7yr old peewee. I'm 58 now, and I still enjoy this old 50s sci-fi atmosphere!
Childhood Memories- Watching Attack of the 50ft Woman, the Hideous Sun Demon, House on Haunted Hill, Frankenstein's Daughter on Saturday afternoon 'Chiller Theater'.
I was into Creature Feature when I was younger man 👨 that showed some classics horror movies 🎬 🎞 🎥. Sometimes I still watched it on Tubi Channel or RUclips Channel. Have a good day 😊 💛.
I remember this movie when I was a kid and all you had was three channels, four if the weather was right. The little blonde in the bar with Tom was Yvette Vickers who was in Attack Of The Giant Leeches, Sunset Blvd, and Hud.
Wow wow wow, this is an old age play back. A possible light giggle for some. Have a blessed day in the midst of this worldly example. God bless all. Amen 🙏🙏🙏💖
We watched it on tv and we thought it was hilarious, especially when she picked up one type car and the car was if I remember correctly the car was a woodie station wagon 😂
Believe it or not back in the mid 50s I used to go to the movies to see a double feature on Saturday including two cartoons and intermission for $.25. Popcorn was $.10 for a regular serving. Those were the good old days and I mean that sincerely.
She knew her no good hubby was running around on her with another woman and of course it drove her crazy. Harry was a total creep who had no qualms about killing her.
@@devildog2328 the 6 fingered hand was “Chiller” during the early 1970s. “Chiller Theater” episodes were in black and white during the 1960’s. 2 different programs.
This is actually pretty good storytelling! In the first minute it is established the Sherif is in bad shape and not too bright, while his deputy is quick both to move and to access the situation.
Can you imagine relying on a Sherriff like this to maintain law and order in your town? His buddy puts his hand on his shoulder and he turns into Barney Fife and nearly has a stroke. The scariest part is seeing those magnified faces in those glass spheres.
Sheriff is pretty dumb and not physically fit, as shown in the first minute. He's the epitome of dim-witted officials in the countryside. Not much happening there, save the occassional bear.
Watching here in Pennsylvania USA 🇺🇸 This November 22nd 2024 in my kitchen im baking Christmas Cookies & freezing them 🎅 This is a great classic movie ❤
Been fascinated with this movie since seeing it on Creature Features as a kid. They made a remake in 1993 with Darryl Hannah as Nancy Archer, but it did not have quite the same level of campiness/creepiness as the original. My favorite scene is when the nurse realizes Nancy has escaped says 'she's loose.'😆Guess you could it a tall tale.🤣
I first saw this when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade over 65 yrs ago. Some of the most hilarious special effects in the history of motion pictures. Somebody should have called Ray Harryhausen. Allison Hayes, hotter than Chinese mustard.Yvette Vickers, always the tart. Charlie is a doofus. Poor attempt at levity. Sheriff using a shotgun on a 50 ft woman.🤨😳 Baloney.
That Plymouth must be special, I mean those models were found to have rust issues on the showroom floor yet this model is immaculate even after getting stuck in mud,I mean clean as a whistle
I can watch these all day long. Simple and entertaining.
Me2!
Me 3
Me 4! My sis and i loved these movies growing up!

@triviaguy1969 Right on brother I miss the national anthem sign off they used to play it back in the 80s and 90s on channel 31
@@damin9913 Today's shows 📺 and movies are worse. The black and white films are nostalgic

This is definitely one of the coolest sci-fi movies ever made. Remember when she was calling for her husband “Haaarry”

Funny, she is causing a real earthquake inside the night club but the bottles on the shelves simply don't move at all. 😂 I love these oldies.
Brilliant acting!!! I mean, how can you play a role in this without cracking up laughing?
Love these old B Grade Horror Classic

I remember seeing this. For a 50 ft woman her hair was done well.
In the closing scene (not shown here) she has false eyelashes.
Did she look good in high heels?
We watched it on tv and we thought it was hilarious, especially when she picked up one type car and the car was if I remember correctly the car was a woodie station wagon 😂
She used 50 gallon drums as hair rollers
"THEM" is also a great movie about giant ants and its also my favorite King Diamond album.
"I can't shoot a lady!" 😂😂
One of my favorites! All the elements of a good flick!
Allison's most famous role by far! And a damn good movie, ahead of its time. Yvette Vickers was good also. The remake in the 1990s was excellent too.
I saw the remake but this is classic.
The Remake had Daryl Hannah.
CHILLER THEATER WATCHED EVERY WEEK . A GREAT MOVIE LOL 😂.
Yes! 💯👍 I remember as a kid
Gee whiz I haven't seen this movie in ages and its still bigger than life.

I guess her measurements are 360-240-360, yes?
That sounds about right. And those legs just climbed up there and made a monkey out of themselves.

This was one of my favorite scary movies in the 60's.
The best looking monster of the 1950's. Didn't anyone try being nice to her?
I think being turned into a Giantess affected her mind.
She wasn't a Stable Person to begin with.
She knew her no good hubby was running around on her with another woman and of course it drove her crazy. Harry was a total creep who had no qualms about killing her.
I would have!
Totally agree 💯👍
Her husband didn't 😂.
How or where did she get the clothes?
......or why?
As my Dad would say, "It's in the script."
Amazon? Or her Tallboy.
Tall and big girls shop
She made them❤ they're just big pieces of cloth wrapped around her! 💖
Remember seeing this film on Chiller Theatre WPIX in NYC Ch. 11 on Saturday nights late 60's early 70's
These old B movies are great.

The couple in the car sees nancy and gets out of the car and shuffles towards her? 😂 they should've ran in the opposite direction.

Crazy that they made movies back then when they didn't even have special effects yet
You mean no computer special effects.
They should've made a sequel,"50 ft Woman Meets The Amazing Colossal Man." Then maybe end up having giant kids.
