I think a simple short closed-toe black heel would look fine with the dress as is. But a taller open-toe “sexy”-ish heel does not go with it due to how long the un-fitted length of the skirt-portion of the dress l above it is. Pairing those shoes with the freed without any alternations makes a perfectly pretty dress look a tad frumpy
