    Hi My daughter got TM when she was turning 15 exactly the same way as you and 6 years later she is still paralyzed. If you have feeling already, then you will probably recover. Check out her video on RUclips that my niece made. It's called Olivia's story. You sound like a really tough kid, just like Olivia. Good luck!

    the children's hospital in Atlanta takes such good care of you, I had temporary paralysis there, but I soon regained feeling, but my point- they're great and very nice.

    I'm annoyed that we live in a world where there is a treatment to help a 14-year old girl possibly walk again, and she could possibly not get it. Like, "We'd love to help you, but you're too poor to be helped. We know you already have it rough already by not being able to afford fancy things, but we're going to go ahead and let you have it even rougher by not being able to walk. It's okay. You're poor. You're used to not getting things your way."

    I have TM too. Same story. Woke up one day and couldn't move my legs. Couldn't feel ice on my back. 6 years later i still use my wheelchair on long outings but can walk in the house now. And less falls. I can have showers by myself finally! No one is alone, Stay strong, stay positive, keep fighting. You can all do this.

      Bear 2017 you should do some research it won't be free for much longer Cameron sold lots of our NHS to private companies. Their bringing in charges slow but sure people who don't use the NHS much won't know how it's all changed and not for the better!

    This is EXACTLY what happened to me six months ago. Luckily I am walking again but the only thing keeping me from being paralysed again is the steroids im on. I've had 4 relapses in six months as the doctors have tried to take my steroids away from me as it's getting dangerous to be on them for too long....I have no recieved any help and am currently being told to ween down off of my steriods AGAIN, despite all the relapses i've had from doing this. No doctor has been able to help me. So if you have suffered from the same thing and you get the right treatment please let me know- Surely steroids isn't the answer as it's not helping )':

    I got TM when I was 28, I'm almost 42 now. I was paralyzed from the mid-chest down, but recovered movement in my right leg, and upper trunk, but not much in my left leg. I can walk with crutches and a KAFO brace on my left leg. I still have no feeling in about half my body and what feeling I do have is not normal. I mostly use a wheelchair now but for about 8 years I walked more than used it.

    But I ain’t no dr...

    • @ReyOfLight
      @ReyOfLight 5 лет назад +1

      The inflammation can cause swelling in and around the spinal cord which essentially squeezes the spinal cord until it’s crushed, to put it in simple terms. That’s why the paralysis can be permanent even though the cause for the paralysis isn’t an accident but an auto immune reaction in the body that causes the inflammation

      Is402831 vaccines are nothing to do with things like this, stop trying to cause shit, if vaccines were so bad then why have ALOT of diseases become near non existent in more developed countries and are only beginning to come back due to retired pretending they cause things they don't and not vaccinating their kids, not vaccinating children is fucking dangerous and it's proving that due to the spread of measles etc that are prevented through vaccines, spread dumb crap all you want but they can't and won't be approved if they are shown to cause things, it's hilarious that some people ink they cause autism, when you can't just get autism like that, you're either born wi it or you're not, like most things, fucking idiot
