Man, Rava has got the the most amazing trumpet sound. He can be mellow and cutting....lyrical and aggressive at the same time. Such a talent. Currently my favorite right now. Can't get enough......

Un gran concierto!!!. Hace tiempo que no me emocionaba al escuchar un jazz tan talentoso, con sonidos de trompeta fuertes y sutiles al mismo tiempo. Enrico Rava es un grande acompanado por un quinteto de musicos fantasticos. Gracias por compartir esta bella musica.

Non sono un appassionato di Jazz, ma ascoltando per caso un pezzo alla radio di questo artista ne sono rimasto folgorato. Eccezionale, mi sembra la parola , l'unica, che possa tradurre il piacere di questa scoperta.

I gave him his first acid. We were playing in Braunschweigen Germany in the early 70's. He's a great musician. It was with Gunter Hampel's Galaxie Dream Band. When we took a break Enrico played the piano for half an hour. At the end of the evening the patron paid the group 50 Marks less than the agreed fee because he told Gunter "that piano set was not music." What a great life!
