    This pickle is easy and cheap to make. You can have this pickle with rice or noodles or serve it as a side dish. You can store it for 2-5 months in an airtight container. To make this simple pickle you will need the following ingredients :
    1) fresh Taro stems (कर्कलो)
    2) mustard seeds(कालतोरी )
    3) oil (तेल)
    4) fenugreek (मेथी) powder
    5) Turmeric (बेसार)
    6) Salt ( नुन)
    7) Chilli Powder(खुर्सानी)
    Follow the below steps to make दुधे कर्कलोको अचार // Pickled Taro
    1. Cut some fresh Taro stems (कर्कलो)
    2. Cut off the leaves from stems
    3. Wash the Taro stems (कर्कलो) with clean water
    4. Peel off the outer skin of Taro stems (कर्कलो)
    5. Cut it into small pieces
    6. Dry in the sun for one day
    7. Then wash dried taro (कर्कलो) with clean water for 2-3 times
    8. Roast some of mustard seeds(कालतोरी ) and then grind the roasted mustard seeds
    9. Heat 3-5 tablespoons of oil (तेल) and Fry one tablespoon of fenugreek (मेथी) powder
    10. and turn off heat and add of Turmeric (बेसार)
    11. Put the washed Taro(कर्कलो) in a large pot
    12. Add Salt ( नुन), Chilli Powder(खुर्सानी), Oil (तेल) with fried fenugreek (मेथी) Turmeric (बेसार) and powdered mustard seeds
    13. Mix All the Ingredients well
    14. Then put in a jar and squeeze all the air out
    15. Then put the Jar in sun for 2-3 week until it tastes sour
