The best action button shortcut I’ve found is setting up a shortcut to take a screenshot but automatically delete it without saving to your photos. The screenshot automatically copies to your clipboard and then you can paste without having to do any other actions. Seems simple but has been so nice.

Upgraded from an iPhone 8 to iPhone 15 Pro this year. The difference is incredible and it's reassuring to hear that this was a good upgrade year haha. The camera is genuinely mind-blowing and that ending was brilliant. Also, for the action button, I have it mapped to turn on/off color filters so it's black and white -- helps me get off my phone when I know I'm wasting too much time on it lol
you are exactly like me lol i held my 8 for this long too but i cannot say it was quite impressive for me since i started to use an android phone with 120hz which is THE real deal for me though the camera captures well detailed photos but when you zoom in photos the quality kind of vanishes a bit too much.
Bro I had an 8 for like, 4 years. Got it when I was 14 or something after my mom upgraded. Recently upgraded to a 14 plus and I couldn’t be happier. I like everything about this phone. I can only imagine the 15 is even better.
That close out “shot on iPhone” was actually pretty surprising, the things we can do with a little device from our pocket. Personally I use the different focal lengths all the time to get something just right, but I can understand someone not using it and just cropping in post.
I really appreciate that kind of detail in these videos - because I appreciate the devices capabilities a bit more, seeing what you can do with it. Now I'm sure they did a bit of post processing on the footage, but the quality is fantastic.
I thought it would have been cooler if he didn't say anything at all and to see who could point it out. I watched it from my monitor so I noticed it from the first frame, the background blur looked a bit distorted then I looked closer to the edges which is a dead giveaway for cinematic video.
My comment was more in support of the “things we can do with a little device from our pocket” - obviously it won’t beat dedicated camera gear, but, the quality is fantastic and more than suitable for this type of content. I didn’t notice the quality to the level you are talking about, but that comes down to personal experience and devices you’re using to consume the content. I like that he announced it at the end, rather than the start, that it was shot on the iPhone, quite literally proving the point that for most, the hardware is great!
i’ve set up my action button to be a sort of super button with shortcuts in combination with an app called actions. the action button now runs different shortcuts depending on my device’s orientation! holding my phone upright portrait toggles the silent switch, rotate the phone 90 degrees to the left and it opens the camera, rotate the phone upside down portrait and it start music recognition, and finally rotating it once more so the action button is up top opens the camera to take a video.
It has been a long time since I've been *this* impressed by an iPhone camera. My jaw dropped when you said the whole video was shot on an iPhone. It looks absolutely gorgeous.
I definitely did notice something at the beginning of off. I paused the video and zoomed it. I don’t think I made the conscious thought that it was an iPhone though, I think I figured it was his canon r5. Very impressive, just not Monstro quality yet…

I appreciate the Porsche 911 comparison so much as a car enthusiast. I’ve only had 4 iPhones (4s, 6s, XR, and now the regular 15), and I genuinely feel like they got it right. I’ll probably use this until the phone dies or by the time the IPhone 20 or something comes out. I can only imagine how good the Pro version of the 15 is, but it’s definitely a good phone to upgrade to if you’re into iPhones. Edit: I hope there’s an Autofocus on the new Porsche as well!
Upgraded from my mini 13 that I loved. Was reluctant of the bigger size that I still wish there was a mini 15 pro option. But I’m surprised how much I enjoy the upgrade. Action button, screen, 120hz, and Dynamic Island make this phone a joy to use.
I upgraded from the 13 mini too went with the 15 pro since I don’t plan to update for a while, considering I was on the mini the battery life the Pro gives me is a nice change, I will miss my smaller phone though.
I’m so HAPPY to hear all this because I upgraded my phone from an OLD iPhone 7 to a 15 Pro for this Christmas. I’m really satisfied with it and I hope to make 7-8 years like my previous phone. Congrats for your Porsche, you deserve it!
After losing half a year worth of notes in the stupid notes app because of a syncing bug, I don't trust any of Apple solutions ever again because everything relies on their damn i- services (of course). I love my max themselves, but all of my services are from third parties that I don't have to worry about Apple changes month to month. That was a ton of work notes and a bug lasted for like a year.

I wanted the pro max, but decided to wait just because the durability tests were only solid for the regular pro. Always good to wait. I don't have a problem with waiting, so I'll get the 17 pro max if the issue is mostly solved. I'm sure it will be. (i hope lol, wanting to get rid of this s22 ultra really bad)

After 3 months of use I can confidently say that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the best iPhone I have ever used. I replace my iPhone every year lol but It doesn't matter if you get a titanium or stainless steel frame, 99% chance that you will need to pay extra to repair back glass 😂
Agreed that Vionentus case is probably the best protective case, being both classic and not massive. However I don't think it's comparable to Megasafe. Correct me if I'm wrong

I didn’t expect much switching from the 12 pro to the 15 pro max since they’re both “pro” lineup phones but damn, I’ve fallen in love! This is the same magic I felt when switching from the 2016 MacBook Pro to the M2 MacBook Pro. Very impressed!

Entirely shot on iPhone, but you could shoot it using another flagship and still look the same. Nowadays everything looks good because of production behind it, the editing and effects they add. So, it is not that special anymore.

Watching on the 15 pro. The only downside is the battery, it’s really lacking. Pro tip, if you use AirPods a lot, I have the action button set to switch between transparency and noise cancellation, it’s so easy and convenient
@@mtrps_Depends on the usage. But the 15 Pro has the weakest battery life out of all the 15 models. I saw battery test videos of the vanilla 15 even beating the 15 Pro. The chip uses too much power that the 15 Pro's battery could not keep up. This explains why the vanilla 15 and 15 Plus lasts longer since they use the previous A16 chips. But again, this all depends on your usage.

I just bought my 15 Pro Max a month ago after having the iPhone 11 for over 3 years. Man when I tell you this is such a welcomed upgrade! The titanium makes the natural color look and feel so premium and the battery life is out of this world! Definitely am more than satisfied and feel that I made the right choice in finally pulling the trigger and upgrading 🔥 btw congrats on the Porsche

I think the iPhone 15 pro is the turning point where we getting diminishing returns in regards to performance and features. The A17 chip is power house and there isn’t any programs that really bottleneck the chip.

I've had my 15 Pro since launch also and I absolutely love it. The past few iPhones we got several highlight features that I had been waiting for (blue color, 120Hz, Dynamic Island etc). This phone has all of those things on top of the new titanium build, USB C, and just feeling in general like the iPhone perfected. I plan to hang onto this one for a while.
Same here. Only downside for me is that battery goes down a bit faster then on other models and Im not using action button at all. It has a lot of features, but Im not using most of them…
@@robi6713 I would highly recommend 256 at least. If you take a lot of photos and especially video 128GB isn't nearly enough to take full advantage of the phone.
@@HL-uw7fk I've had the opposite experience to be honest, I'm not a super heavy user but the battery life has been fantastic for me. I usually only charge it every other day (it gets small top ups in my car on the way to work). Agreed about the action button tho, I just have it set to the mute switch still lol
I upgraded to the 15 pro from an X and I completely agree with your conclusions! I told myself I would not upgrade to the new iPhone until Apple added USB C, and I'm glad I followed through. Different camera modes are silly... just use the 1x and crop in post. Action button was very promising, but the placement isn't ideal (sometimes I briefly confuse it for the volume up, when I'm not looking at it), also different actions on the lockscreen vs homescreen would be a nice improvement. The dynamic island is a nice way to show ongoing notifications; it reminds me of Android's statusbar notification icons. The materials and construction of the phone is beautiful (except the thicc camera bump). I miss the sleekness of the X, but the new one is not too bad for a larger phone.

I feel like the exact reason why - as said in the video - the 15 series has been hitting is because the older series users are all upgrading to it, and it's indeed a great (and reasonable) choice. I upgraded mine from an iPhone X and no doubt it feels like a whole new world lol.
still using the XS and feels flagship even in 2024, atleast 2 years more before i upgrade. The lowlight camera performance is still crap on it though even for a 5 year old phone.

Upgraded to the 15 Pro from the 11 Pro and found that it was a leapfrog update, obviously. Overall though, the biggest thing I appreciate is the weight difference. The 15 Pro isn't much less on paper, but it feels insane in my hands. I considered upgrading to a 12 Mini on launch and used it for a month before returning it. I found the screen was unusably small for some tasks. Meanwhile, this 15 Pro reminds me of the 12 Mini. It has a bigger frame, sure... but the way it feels when you move it around reminds me of the Mini. I forget who put it out, but someone pointed out how the weight being removed from the frame of the phone is a big factor. I realized that when I take photos (The time you move the phone around the most) that you're constantly rotating the device and sometimes holding it at awkward angles. This is where I notice the biggest difference.
I’ve upgraded to a 15 pro from an 11, and the much slimmer bezels on the 15 pro makes it so much easier to use one handed. Also, I’ve noticed the power button on the 15 pro is lower down vs the 11, so it naturally falls where I would place my thumb, hence not needing to use the double tap to wake feature as much
Would love a behind the scenes on your method for shooting with iPhone 15. What lighting is used, how you mounted the phone, what settings, did you lock focus.
Honestly it all seemed like very basic cinema fundamentals. Obviously a third party camera app was used, but besides filming with the iPhone, the process was almost certainly the same as always.
@@HCG Yeah, but that answers every question I didn’t ask tho. Of course lightning is different for every environment, knowing what lights were used gives me an idea of how bright/size I’d need. What adapter(s) to mount the phone on traditional camera equipment. Ive seen some cool MagSafe ones but for motion shots thats not ideal probably. I’d really like to copy the crispy MKBHD Video style so whatever they did to make this video look similar to their typical RED Camera videos id like to know in-depth.
Gotta say your videos have been the best for making my decision to finally upgrade from my wife’s and my plain iPhone X’s to the 15 Pro for Christmas. What a leap! I’m so glad that 17.2 and then 17.2.1 were released becasue the battery life and heating issues were definitely there with the iOS loaded when we got them. They have been running great since upgrading. Still getting a handle on the camera features. As a 58 year old who’s vision is going down the drain the action button has been relegated to the flashlight. It’s just convenient. Thanks for your great content!👍
I finally upgraded to the 15 pro max in natural titanium from my iPhone XR which I have been using for the past 4.5 years. Can't wait to get on OLED 120 hz display and the better cameras. The natural titanium looks beautiful.

I upgraded from my iPhone 12 to the 15 Pro and felt guilty because I thought I should have waited a bit more. But now I feel better about it, and now I know I have a few things to learn about the camera. Its always a good advice to watch your videos!
I went from the 12pro to the 14pro max and felt guilty as the battery life was negligible and so was the screen. 13 pro max was the sweet spot. With time I felt better about my decision, and it definitely made the 15pro max not worth the cost as the 14 pro max is way good enough
Well, I was used to my iPhone 12 battery life which is not the greatest but yeah, I’ve read a few things about 15 models battery issues, but I just hope mine is okay 😅

Upgraded from 12 mini, and its feel soo dang good. From screen refresh rate to cameras, to battery life. Apple never dissapoints with new stuff, specially when you jumping from 3-4 years older apple product.
I’m currently on a 13 mini and I really don’t car to upgrade due to the lack of mini options. How would you say the transition has been size wise? Or was the mini something you didn’t care to live and die by?
Niceee, I actually had an 11 Pro but trialed a 12 Mini back when it launched but decided to return it. I couldn't do the 5.4 inch screen, it felt too puny for some tasks. The 15 Pro feels like a mini-fied version of the standard size iPhone to me. It's only 0.5 oz lighter than 14 Pro and 0.3 oz lighter than the 11 Pro but that weight reduction is all concentrated on the frame. It rotates much nicer and when holding it at awkward angles taking photos it feels way less cumbersome. That stainless steel frame was a joke. But then you have the 88% screen to body ratio 6.1 inch screen which I think is all you need. That Max feels like a damn tablet haha.
@@Bullsnation6 Pro is a brick that takes time to get used to its bulkiness and double the weight when moving from 12 mini. If it wasn’t for a case that my mini got faulty I’d be still using it. Ultimately having 15 mini with USB-C and perhaps 120Hz screen you’d not spend a second considering Pro.
I’ve found the camera to be one of the better uses of the action button as well. A little tip I’d like to recommend to all: Set the action button to a shortcut, which immediately reads the name of the network your phone is connected to. If the network name matches your Home’s Wi-Fi name, then have it run whatever function you want (I have it set to open my Apple TV remote) If the Network doesn’t match your home network’s name, then have it run another function (I have it set to open camera). Now you have an action button that elicits two functions, one for at home, one for away the house.
@@skylab8069 you could, and I’ve done this as well, however, I live on a golf course, and have found that my phone has difficulty pinpointing my exact location.
another tip you can set it to do a diffrent thing based off of your focus mode, location, app that is currently open, if you are next to your tesla you can set it to unlock it, who your on the phone with, what blutooth devise your connected to, and so much more
I got a case my 15 Pro Max only because I'm terrified of dropping it and it shattering. But the case is clear so I can still see the natural titanium color, which looks so good
I don’t have a case for my 14 pro but what I don’t understand is why he doesn’t have a screen protector it’s barely visible and means no scratches or chips on the real screen just shows that this isn’t his daily driver because he isn’t taking care of the phone
Just got the 15 pro max for xmas and I like it so far. One thing I wish they added was multiple options for the action button ie. 1 press, 1 long press, 2 presses all can activate something different.
Matte black 992 Turbo with the blacked out wheels... Absolutely love it. Props to knowing how you use your cars and not getting a GT3 just because. The aerokit front fascia really helps differentiate it from other cars. Haven't seen a whole lot of 992 Turbos with that option.

I love the insights you gave for a longer time period with the phone. I find myself more and more curious about iPhones as time goes by. I also love the callback to the apple presentations of old "shot on the iPhone" scenario.
What’s crazy for me is how long I’ve kept my action button set to the flash light. Being a recluse who spends a lot of time in the dark, not having to turn on the screen and long press on the Home Screen has been a game changer.

Coming from a 13 and getting my first pro thanks to this video. There's not really anything wrong with my 13, but I want better resell value and dynamic island. I started to get 15 base but it felt too similar to mine after comparisons, and I can finally afford a pro so I just went for it.

I didn't get the pro but the regular 15 instead, upgrading from iphone 12 and this feels like an actual upgrade.I don't play games or use my camera that much to justify spending the money for 120hz and a 3rd camera that I'm gonna use once per year, they did an excellent job of keeping me in as I was super close to switching to a pixel if usb-c didn't come out this year.
I just recentely switched to an iphone 15 coming from a 15 year android relationship. This is the first iphone I have not wanted to smash within a week. (Had a couple brief stints a few years back that didnt last long). I saw no reason to go for the Pro either. Even going from 120hz (Oneplus 9 Pro) to 60hz wasnt really that bad. Still not 100% confident though. I miss notifications from the android world. And better control of the file system on the phone.
I could never go back to iOS. The notifications, gestures (the BACK gesture and button), superior keyboard and overall loss of customization would drive me insane. And I switched from an iPhone 12 to a flip 4 and now to a z flip 5 android is awesome@@Taakeheim

I have 15 Pro in natural titanium since launch and it's really good phone, upgraded from my XS Max and it's definitely an upgrade, the cameras, crazy good night mode, so good cinematic video, USB C mostly now using with HDMI when traveling, even Dynamic Island with silky smooth animations getting me all day battery with 80% charge limit.. I love it.

Proud to say I held onto my iPhone 8 Plus from 2018 until this patch month when I got myself a 15 pro max and boyyy did I time travel or what hahaha it’s been incredible so far!

That close out “shot on iPhone” was actually pretty surprising, the things we can do with a little device from our pocket. Personally I use the different focal lengths all the time to get something just right, but I can understand someone not using it and just cropping in post.
I really appreciate that kind of detail in these videos - because I appreciate the devices capabilities a bit more, seeing what you can do with it. Now I'm sure they did a bit of post processing on the footage, but the quality is fantastic.
I thought it would have been cooler if he didn't say anything at all and to see who could point it out.
I watched it from my monitor so I noticed it from the first frame, the background blur looked a bit distorted then I looked closer to the edges which is a dead giveaway for cinematic video.

My comment was more in support of the “things we can do with a little device from our pocket” - obviously it won’t beat dedicated camera gear, but, the quality is fantastic and more than suitable for this type of content.
I didn’t notice the quality to the level you are talking about, but that comes down to personal experience and devices you’re using to consume the content.
I like that he announced it at the end, rather than the start, that it was shot on the iPhone, quite literally proving the point that for most, the hardware is great!

i’ve set up my action button to be a sort of super button with shortcuts in combination with an app called actions. the action button now runs different shortcuts depending on my device’s orientation! holding my phone upright portrait toggles the silent switch, rotate the phone 90 degrees to the left and it opens the camera, rotate the phone upside down portrait and it start music recognition, and finally rotating it once more so the action button is up top opens the camera to take a video.

I definitely did notice something at the beginning of off. I paused the video and zoomed it. I don’t think I made the conscious thought that it was an iPhone though, I think I figured it was his canon r5. Very impressive, just not Monstro quality yet…

I appreciate the Porsche 911 comparison so much as a car enthusiast. I’ve only had 4 iPhones (4s, 6s, XR, and now the regular 15), and I genuinely feel like they got it right. I’ll probably use this until the phone dies or by the time the IPhone 20 or something comes out. I can only imagine how good the Pro version of the 15 is, but it’s definitely a good phone to upgrade to if you’re into iPhones.
Edit: I hope there’s an Autofocus on the new Porsche as well!

Upgraded from my mini 13 that I loved. Was reluctant of the bigger size that I still wish there was a mini 15 pro option.
But I’m surprised how much I enjoy the upgrade. Action button, screen, 120hz, and Dynamic Island make this phone a joy to use.
I ordered mine and will be upgrading from an 8plus. I’m so excited 😁
I upgraded from the 13 mini too went with the 15 pro since I don’t plan to update for a while, considering I was on the mini the battery life the Pro gives me is a nice change, I will miss my smaller phone though.
How good is your battery life? I upgraded from 11 and I feel the battery life I’m getting isn’t too pro-like.

After losing half a year worth of notes in the stupid notes app because of a syncing bug, I don't trust any of Apple solutions ever again because everything relies on their damn i- services (of course).
I love my max themselves, but all of my services are from third parties that I don't have to worry about Apple changes month to month. That was a ton of work notes and a bug lasted for like a year.

I wanted the pro max, but decided to wait just because the durability tests were only solid for the regular pro. Always good to wait. I don't have a problem with waiting, so I'll get the 17 pro max if the issue is mostly solved. I'm sure it will be. (i hope lol, wanting to get rid of this s22 ultra really bad)

After 3 months of use I can confidently say that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the best iPhone I have ever used. I replace my iPhone every year lol but It doesn't matter if you get a titanium or stainless steel frame, 99% chance that you will need to pay extra to repair back glass 😂

+1 for Vionentus, the only case that doesn't seem bulky and saves your phone like a shield.
As a repairman I can confirm this regarding the iPhone 15 I receive three times more repairs than other iPhone models
Agreed that Vionentus case is probably the best protective case, being both classic and not massive. However I don't think it's comparable to Megasafe. Correct me if I'm wrong

Entirely shot on iPhone, but you could shoot it using another flagship and still look the same. Nowadays everything looks good because of production behind it, the editing and effects they add. So, it is not that special anymore.

Watching on the 15 pro. The only downside is the battery, it’s really lacking. Pro tip, if you use AirPods a lot, I have the action button set to switch between transparency and noise cancellation, it’s so easy and convenient

@@mtrps_Depends on the usage. But the 15 Pro has the weakest battery life out of all the 15 models. I saw battery test videos of the vanilla 15 even beating the 15 Pro. The chip uses too much power that the 15 Pro's battery could not keep up. This explains why the vanilla 15 and 15 Plus lasts longer since they use the previous A16 chips. But again, this all depends on your usage.

I just bought my 15 Pro Max a month ago after having the iPhone 11 for over 3 years. Man when I tell you this is such a welcomed upgrade! The titanium makes the natural color look and feel so premium and the battery life is out of this world! Definitely am more than satisfied and feel that I made the right choice in finally pulling the trigger and upgrading 🔥 btw congrats on the Porsche

I think the iPhone 15 pro is the turning point where we getting diminishing returns in regards to performance and features. The A17 chip is power house and there isn’t any programs that really bottleneck the chip.

The best action button shortcut I’ve found is setting up a shortcut to take a screenshot but automatically delete it without saving to your photos. The screenshot automatically copies to your clipboard and then you can paste without having to do any other actions. Seems simple but has been so nice.

I've had my 15 Pro since launch also and I absolutely love it. The past few iPhones we got several highlight features that I had been waiting for (blue color, 120Hz, Dynamic Island etc). This phone has all of those things on top of the new titanium build, USB C, and just feeling in general like the iPhone perfected. I plan to hang onto this one for a while.

Same here. Only downside for me is that battery goes down a bit faster then on other models and Im not using action button at all. It has a lot of features, but Im not using most of them…
@@robi6713 I would highly recommend 256 at least. If you take a lot of photos and especially video 128GB isn't nearly enough to take full advantage of the phone.
@@HL-uw7fk I've had the opposite experience to be honest, I'm not a super heavy user but the battery life has been fantastic for me. I usually only charge it every other day (it gets small top ups in my car on the way to work). Agreed about the action button tho, I just have it set to the mute switch still lol

I upgraded to the 15 pro from an X and I completely agree with your conclusions! I told myself I would not upgrade to the new iPhone until Apple added USB C, and I'm glad I followed through. Different camera modes are silly... just use the 1x and crop in post. Action button was very promising, but the placement isn't ideal (sometimes I briefly confuse it for the volume up, when I'm not looking at it), also different actions on the lockscreen vs homescreen would be a nice improvement. The dynamic island is a nice way to show ongoing notifications; it reminds me of Android's statusbar notification icons. The materials and construction of the phone is beautiful (except the thicc camera bump). I miss the sleekness of the X, but the new one is not too bad for a larger phone.
I think you don’t know what is optical zoom . If cropping a photo is solution , then why optical zoom option is given in mobile??

I feel like the exact reason why - as said in the video - the 15 series has been hitting is because the older series users are all upgrading to it, and it's indeed a great (and reasonable) choice. I upgraded mine from an iPhone X and no doubt it feels like a whole new world lol.
still using the XS and feels flagship even in 2024, atleast 2 years more before i upgrade. The lowlight camera performance is still crap on it though even for a 5 year old phone.

Upgraded to the 15 Pro from the 11 Pro and found that it was a leapfrog update, obviously.
Overall though, the biggest thing I appreciate is the weight difference.
The 15 Pro isn't much less on paper, but it feels insane in my hands.
I considered upgrading to a 12 Mini on launch and used it for a month before returning it. I found the screen was unusably small for some tasks.
Meanwhile, this 15 Pro reminds me of the 12 Mini. It has a bigger frame, sure... but the way it feels when you move it around reminds me of the Mini.
I forget who put it out, but someone pointed out how the weight being removed from the frame of the phone is a big factor. I realized that when I take photos (The time you move the phone around the most) that you're constantly rotating the device and sometimes holding it at awkward angles.
This is where I notice the biggest difference.
to be honest i love a heavy phone ahah, curretly on the 14pro and it feels weird having like a iphone 12 in the hands since it's so light
same on the pro max version - it’s lighter and smaller than the 12 pro max i had. an unexpected but definitely a very valuable perk for me
I’ve upgraded to a 15 pro from an 11, and the much slimmer bezels on the 15 pro makes it so much easier to use one handed.
Also, I’ve noticed the power button on the 15 pro is lower down vs the 11, so it naturally falls where I would place my thumb, hence not needing to use the double tap to wake feature as much
Would love a behind the scenes on your method for shooting with iPhone 15. What lighting is used, how you mounted the phone, what settings, did you lock focus.
Honestly it all seemed like very basic cinema fundamentals. Obviously a third party camera app was used, but besides filming with the iPhone, the process was almost certainly the same as always.

Of course lightning is different for every environment, knowing what lights were used gives me an idea of how bright/size I’d need.
What adapter(s) to mount the phone on traditional camera equipment. Ive seen some cool MagSafe ones but for motion shots thats not ideal probably.

Gotta say your videos have been the best for making my decision to finally upgrade from my wife’s and my plain iPhone X’s to the 15 Pro for Christmas. What a leap! I’m so glad that 17.2 and then 17.2.1 were released becasue the battery life and heating issues were definitely there with the iOS loaded when we got them. They have been running great since upgrading. Still getting a handle on the camera features. As a 58 year old who’s vision is going down the drain the action button has been relegated to the flashlight. It’s just convenient. Thanks for your great content!👍

I finally upgraded to the 15 pro max in natural titanium from my iPhone XR which I have been using for the past 4.5 years. Can't wait to get on OLED 120 hz display and the better cameras. The natural titanium looks beautiful.

I upgraded from my iPhone 12 to the 15 Pro and felt guilty because I thought I should have waited a bit more. But now I feel better about it, and now I know I have a few things to learn about the camera. Its always a good advice to watch your videos!
I went from the 12pro to the 14pro max and felt guilty as the battery life was negligible and so was the screen. 13 pro max was the sweet spot. With time I felt better about my decision, and it definitely made the 15pro max not worth the cost as the 14 pro max is way good enough
Well, I was used to my iPhone 12 battery life which is not the greatest but yeah, I’ve read a few things about 15 models battery issues, but I just hope mine is okay 😅

Upgraded from 12 mini, and its feel soo dang good. From screen refresh rate to cameras, to battery life. Apple never dissapoints with new stuff, specially when you jumping from 3-4 years older apple product.
I’m currently on a 13 mini and I really don’t car to upgrade due to the lack of mini options. How would you say the transition has been size wise? Or was the mini something you didn’t care to live and die by?
Niceee, I actually had an 11 Pro but trialed a 12 Mini back when it launched but decided to return it. I couldn't do the 5.4 inch screen, it felt too puny for some tasks.
The 15 Pro feels like a mini-fied version of the standard size iPhone to me.
It's only 0.5 oz lighter than 14 Pro and 0.3 oz lighter than the 11 Pro but that weight reduction is all concentrated on the frame. It rotates much nicer and when holding it at awkward angles taking photos it feels way less cumbersome. That stainless steel frame was a joke.
But then you have the 88% screen to body ratio 6.1 inch screen which I think is all you need. That Max feels like a damn tablet haha.
Also 12 mini to 15 pro and it’s till now the best decision I made regarding iPhones.
@@Bullsnation6 Pro is a brick that takes time to get used to its bulkiness and double the weight when moving from 12 mini. If it wasn’t for a case that my mini got faulty I’d be still using it. Ultimately having 15 mini with USB-C and perhaps 120Hz screen you’d not spend a second considering Pro.
I’ve found the camera to be one of the better uses of the action button as well. A little tip I’d like to recommend to all:
Set the action button to a shortcut, which immediately reads the name of the network your phone is connected to. If the network name matches your Home’s Wi-Fi name, then have it run whatever function you want (I have it set to open my Apple TV remote)
If the Network doesn’t match your home network’s name, then have it run another function (I have it set to open camera).
Now you have an action button that elicits two functions, one for at home, one for away the house.
Can't you just make it check your location and have different functions for multiple different locations?
@@skylab8069 you could, and I’ve done this as well, however, I live on a golf course, and have found that my phone has difficulty pinpointing my exact location.
another tip you can set it to do a diffrent thing based off of your focus mode, location, app that is currently open, if you are next to your tesla you can set it to unlock it, who your on the phone with, what blutooth devise your connected to, and so much more

I got a case my 15 Pro Max only because I'm terrified of dropping it and it shattering. But the case is clear so I can still see the natural titanium color, which looks so good
I don’t have a case for my 14 pro but what I don’t understand is why he doesn’t have a screen protector it’s barely visible and means no scratches or chips on the real screen just shows that this isn’t his daily driver because he isn’t taking care of the phone
Just got the 15 pro max for xmas and I like it so far. One thing I wish they added was multiple options for the action button ie. 1 press, 1 long press, 2 presses all can activate something different.

I see a lot of people saying this, and I agree. Luckily this can (and probably will) be fixed with a software update. It's just a matter of time.
Matte black 992 Turbo with the blacked out wheels... Absolutely love it. Props to knowing how you use your cars and not getting a GT3 just because. The aerokit front fascia really helps differentiate it from other cars. Haven't seen a whole lot of 992 Turbos with that option.
I think it's a very boring colour choice. Actually, there is no colour there.

What’s crazy for me is how long I’ve kept my action button set to the flash light. Being a recluse who spends a lot of time in the dark, not having to turn on the screen and long press on the Home Screen has been a game changer.

Really enjoy my 15 Pro too. Such a typical evolutionary upgrade, but all little refinements combined make it great.
Coming from a 13 and getting my first pro thanks to this video. There's not really anything wrong with my 13, but I want better resell value and dynamic island. I started to get 15 base but it felt too similar to mine after comparisons, and I can finally afford a pro so I just went for it.
That is a mega flex, the matte black 911 looks absolutely stunning.

I didn't get the pro but the regular 15 instead, upgrading from iphone 12 and this feels like an actual upgrade.I don't play games or use my camera that much to justify spending the money for 120hz and a 3rd camera that I'm gonna use once per year, they did an excellent job of keeping me in as I was super close to switching to a pixel if usb-c didn't come out this year.
I just recentely switched to an iphone 15 coming from a 15 year android relationship. This is the first iphone I have not wanted to smash within a week. (Had a couple brief stints a few years back that didnt last long). I saw no reason to go for the Pro either. Even going from 120hz (Oneplus 9 Pro) to 60hz wasnt really that bad.
Still not 100% confident though. I miss notifications from the android world. And better control of the file system on the phone.

I could never go back to iOS. The notifications, gestures (the BACK gesture and button), superior keyboard and overall loss of customization would drive me insane. And I switched from an iPhone 12 to a flip 4 and now to a z flip 5 android is awesome@@Taakeheim

I have 15 Pro in natural titanium since launch and it's really good phone, upgraded from my XS Max and it's definitely an upgrade, the cameras, crazy good night mode, so good cinematic video, USB C mostly now using with HDMI when traveling, even Dynamic Island with silky smooth animations getting me all day battery with 80% charge limit.. I love it.
Just curious, what is the need to specify the "natural titanium"? What benefits does it even give? Other than being easily crackable

Same. I can immediately see the vibrant and deepness of the display colors compared to my 11 which has a slight blue tint

how long does the battery last? how long does it take to go from 80% to 20ish%
@@AhmedGotaymon7my normal days are kind of light so I'll rarely go from 80% to 20%, but on longer days I'll hit that in the evening. I also have it capped at 80 so I never start from 100. Pretty great!
