My family converted to the church as well:) i got sealed in the temple with my family when i was 11! It was an experience I’ll never forget❤️thank you so much for sharing your testimony!
You are so on fire for God. May he bless you and keep you. I am Orthodox, not LDS but I feel that we are all children of God and as long as we submit to His will and love one another as HE has loved us we are doing that will. Keep spreading that love for all. May He guide us all to His arms.

Òur beliefs may be very different, but God is truth and there are truths present in all faiths, and we can often learn from each other. Love your story! My daughter doesn't attend church or do Gospel centered things when visiting her Dad but does when she is with me. It is inspiring to hear that from your situation you decided for yourself what you wanted. Love it!
Sharing one's testimony is a very emotional thing to do sometimes, because it means so much to you, and you are sharing something personal from the heart. So Mimi it is fine to cry, and yes I think I've seen a few others that have on the show. I've shed some tears myself watching some of the episodes that have testimonies. You feel the spirit!
Currently, I’m reading the Book of Mormon exactly the way you used to. And i always wondered how new people in the church could read the Book of Mormon so quickly and with such a deep connection bc that’s all I wanted to! I hope I can read the Book of Mormon like an actual book soon, but I don’t read book enough. I hope my spiritual conversion will progress more and more. Thank you so much for this Mimi!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your testimony and your story! I desperately wanted to go on a mission last year but due to a few different things it wasn't working out. Then I met my now fiancee and I've been really struggling with not going on a mission. Especially because I was converted through missionaries and my fiancee was one and I just love being around them and discussing the gospel so I've got these constant reminders that I didn't go. But hearing your story and that you married, well it doesn't change anything but it brought me some relief so thank you!
Mimi your story about the Book of Mormon Class reminded me of the year I took Book of Mormon in Seminary. I had read the Book of Mormon more times than I could count prior to that but I couldn't remember where the stories were located. During that year I committed to getting to class early to read for a few minutes and by the end of the year I could finally locate what I looked for in the Book of Mormon. When I listen to you I wonder how you will remember this segment of your lives in 10, 20, or 30 years. When I was your age I felt much the same as you, and when I look back though I hold many of the same beliefs things look very different to me now. I suspect that you may look back, blush and chuckle about how you approached the topics you present. All in all I think you are doing a good thing and I hope you will never lose your core beliefs.
I loved my seminary experience too. Since I was part of a small branch, we only met one day a week and had booklets that we completed at home during the week instead of daily classes. Nevertheless, I learned a lot and enjoyed it. We had the best Seminary teacher also, and I will always remember those days fondly and attribute them to building my testimony and knowledge of the gospel.
My favorite experience with the Book of Mormon was reading through and writing on each page what we learn about God on that page. Joseph Smith said we can get nearer to God by reading the BoM than by any other book. I put that to the test and it's true!
DaIama Mormonlookatmy pic 🤡 kinda a weird choice of insults. I mean, I can show you the book I wrote in to prove I'm not lying... something about God on every page. 🤷♀️ Next time be more creative?
This was a video that really helped me. And I just wanted to say how much I love and appreciate that you guys at 3 Momrons put so much work in helping others in their conversion or testimony building. I'm gonna go read the book of Mormon and cry now. 😂
Wow job well done Mimi! This video is definitely in my top 10 favorites from the channel. My conversion is pretty similar to yours. I've been a member my entire life but when I was younger I really just did not like church. I was always asking my parents why we couldn't just go to the 1-hour churches close to our house (5-year-old me not knowing that there were different religions) and also why in primary after we had covered what I thought was everything (Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, D&C and Pearl of Great Price) we didn't just stop doing Sunday School altogether. At that time I was always thinking about how when I was old enough, I was going to leave the church entirely. Jump forward to about 2012-2013 when I was probably 13 years old. Middle school was REALLY hard for me because I was the one kid everyone just loved to pick on. Well near the end of my 8th grade year a small piece of bone got stuck in my right knee, and as a result I pretty much had to stay home that summer so that I could have surgery performed and then eventually do physical therapy. During that summer, this impression came to me that I ought to read through the Book of Mormon cover-to-cover (Prior to this I had never done any form of personal scripture study). So I did just that. I spent the rest of the year reading the Book of Mormon in it's entirety. When I was finished, I prayed to know whether or not it was true and at first didn't seem to get any kind of answer. Jump ahead a few months. I was sitting in Sunday school or young men's when another thought came to me. It was like a voice saying "Look at how much your life has changed and how much more excited you are regarding the gospel." It was at that point I knew that I was on the right path. Attending early-morning seminary all throughout high school only helped to strengthen that witness.
Mimi, I loved hearing your testimony so much! I am interested in reading the BOM in 3 months , do you have a general outline of what you read or know about how any pages/ chapters did you read in a day ?
Great video. I am currently trying to read the Bible and Book of Mormon. I can read it fast but it is taking me a while because I am trying to take time to understand and learn from the scriptures. Again, great video.
I know I am seeing this a year later... 😜 Thanks for sharing your testimony and conversion story, Mimi! Last year I decided to read the Book of Mormon in one year like we have been challenged to do by Pres. Hinckley in years past. I was in Ether when Pres. Nelson challenged us women at General Conference that October to read it by the end of the year. I thought, "Well, I am almost done!" That didn't sit well with me, so I thought I would finish, start over and call it good to get back to Ether by December. As I read and tried to finish up to Ether, I decided that I could be obedient with exactness and honor and finished the whole BoM a second time by December 31st. Wow!! It was hard and there were times that I listened to some chapters as I worked, but it was amazing! So, this year, my goal is to read it twice again. I finished the first time through by the end of July and am on track to finish it the second time by December! Two chapters a day (and one on the big, long ones) is all it takes to finish it in six months. I am still seeking to ponder better about what I read. Reading more each day really does make a difference in understanding!
I was gonna comment this on your modesty video, but I honestly got embarrassed. But then you said 13:52, so here it goes. I had an awesome spiritual experience when I was at scout camp a couple years ago. We were all trying to go to bed but it was SO. HOT. So everybody started to take their shirts and PJs off. I was about to join them but I suddenly had a thought come into my head. "God cares about Modesty." And so I knelt in my bed and prayed. I asked Heavenly Father that if I kept my PJs on, that I'd feel cool throughout the night. The second I zipped up my sleeping bag, I felt cold. And I slept really well that night. The next morning I was actually shivering a bit, but when I got outside everybody couldn't stop complaining about how hot it was. Ever since then I always try to go to sleep modestly. Thanks Mimi for sharing your testimony!! It was wonderful!! :D
Hi thanks for this video! My amazing expirience is how i gained my testimony. I was such atheist back then and i looked into joining a church to find some friends and look for a future wife. Since i had a book of mormon that only collected dust on my shelf and i alredy talked with missionaries the idea was: when in rome do as romans do. Basically i needed to blend in so im gonna do what missionaries asked me to do. Also i watched southpark before and they portrayed joseph smith as he came up with everything. So i was negativley biased when it came to book of mormon. But hell, i was gonna make it sunday thing so it didnt matter. So i said my very first honest prayer and it was increadibly hard but humbling expirience, i was just gonna ask an entity that dosent exist if something i know is false, is true. So i oppened it on the page the missionaries told me but it was a diffrent scripture cuz i was using a Polish book of mormon. The thing i read there was the same thing an internet philosopher said on his yt channel. "This joseph smith was a clever guy" i though and this book isnt entairly false. This expirience opened my world for heavenly father and jesus christ.
Wasn't it just later in 2018 that Pres. Nelson challenged the women to read the Book of Mormon in 3 months basically? Anyways I related to your story of that experience because I did Pres. Nelson's similar challenge and, although I'd studied the B.O.M. several times before that, I learned a lot and really gained a better perspective by reading more of it in a shorter time. It's such a cool thing how you can learn different things every time you read the scriptures in different ways.
She is meaning her parents with their children were sealed as a family, that includes her. If a couple (usually in the case of new members) already have children, they can be sealed with the parents as a family.
Yeah but her dad originally was a member. That would mean that she was born under the covenant, as in already sealed. Then her dad was not active, only her mom was. Not sure about the time frame but, if both parents were not temple worthy members, then she could not have been sealed to them. She can’t be sealed to her mom only. Just curious and trying to understand how it works
My parents were married civilly and were then sealed together when I was six. When they were sealed together in the temple, I was sealed to them too! My dad left the church a few years after that.
I really like reading your comments on their videos, you seem like a very passionate and spiritual yound person. I feel very detached from my family when it comes to the Gospel. Everyone in my family is atheist, and they don't understand my testimony. I know personally that it is very hard to go against your family, especially when they show signs of worry; the thing is, you have to follow your own judgement and trust your own feelings when it comes to accepting something as important as the Gospel into your life. Definitely talk with them, explain how you feel and why it's important for you, but don't expect them to accept it immediately. I know that God loves you and supports your efforts to come back to Him, and I'll keep you in my prayers that you will find the words for your parents!
Elisa Perret Thank You I am joining when I am 18 My parents Are Christian They want me to go into leadership In Their church Right now I am struggeling I sometimes Wonder If all The fighting is worth it. I am 17 In november I want to try talking to them so that I might be allowed to atleast skype into church or Even go to church
It's not always easy to be apart of the church when your family doesn't feel the same way about it as you do. I know how that feels. But I can promise you that it is definitely SO worth it to keep going. I have only found true happiness through this gospel, and I know you will too! Keep going and keep trying your best. It'll get better soon.

Zoe Hales thank you I have noticed the same nothing has brought me the peace and happiness the way the church has. Right now I am trying to do my best by following the comandments and reading scripture. I just started reading the bible and reading the book of mormon in english I have read it once I also have the best missonaries they are inspiering and loving and I dream of meeting them one day the biggest struggle for me now is the pain of not being able to go to church it has left in tears and I dont know why it makes me so sas
How come Mormons place so much more importance on the Book of Mormon and not the Bible. Like why don't you read the Bible every day instead of the Book of Mormon or read both every day?
Zoe Arapidis we believe that the Bible is the word of God but that the people who wrote then were writing to people living at that time like the Colossians and Romans. The Book of Mormon was written for us today! The people that wrote in it were commanded by God to write the things they wrote so that we would read the things that we needed for the time we are living in right now. That’s why we try to read it everyday. Imagine reading a book that was written for you, that’s what it’s like!
There is the matter that others don't know about or have the book of Mormon, some of us probably take the Bible for granted a bit too. I don't think most Christian's in America read the Bible daily so I don't think we actually read it less than others do.
Like all Christians we know the Bible to be the word of God, and we study and read the Bible the same as the Book of Mormon. However the Book of Mormon is a second testament of Jesus Christ, and his divine mission on earth. So the Bible and Book of Mormon go hand in hand as a testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. The reason these conversion stories place so much importance on the Book of Mormon, is because having a testimony of the Book of Mormon is the key to getting a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ before committing to being baptized in this religion. For example, my guess is you are already a Christian and have a testimony of the Bible as being the word of God, but do you also have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is the word of God?
We see here a sweet bubbly and sincere young Mormon lady. But l see no credible evidence that she is a christian from her testimony. She didn't talk about conversion into faith IN Christ Jesus, rather it was when she 'realized the church was true', and was 'converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ' and into that church. You will never hear a Bible believing Christian using these terms, Christians have come to a saving faith in a person, the Lord Jesus Christ, and they testify to that, and NEVER that a particular church is 'true'. If this dear lady was a Christian talking about her conversion she would make mention of reading the Bible and it's special influence in leading her to Christ. Incredibly she didn't mention the Bible once, not ONCE.! She mentioned the book of Mormon 20 times, telling us that it made such a difference in her life, she reads it every day, and commented on it's' power' and that she knows that it's true. She also says that the BOM has made her 'a different person', and indeed it has, it's made her into a Mormon, but not a Christian. If you are wondering why this dear soul doesn't even mention The Bible its because that she, (as have all Mormons), been taught that the Bible cannot be trusted. Incredibly, this belief is actually an Article of faith of her church, (8th), 'We believe that the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly'. Like almost everything in Mormonism, Joseph Smith said it, and therefore they believe it. Joseph Smith also went through the King James bible 'correcting it' and even put his own name into the text!, ( Genesis 50: 33). I repeat, this young lady is sincere, but the reality is that the Mormon's faith is primarily in one man, Joseph Smith, and his writings and teachings, as this video clearly demonstrated, the BOM being greatly praised but the Holy Bible being ignored. There lies the great difference between Mormonism and Christianity, for Christians the Bible is the sole rule of faith, in Mormonism it is The book of Mormon and all of one man's teachings and writings, plus the modern day LDS leadership. Their ultimate faith is in the testimony of Joseph Smith. If you read and trust the book of Mormon you will simple become a Mormon, if you read and trust the Bible you will become a Christian. As the Bible says, 'choose this day who you will serve'. Kind regards to all especially this dear lady.
Whereas she could have been more specific and should have been if you know what the church teaches then you know she did say that by saying the church is true. It is included even though it would have been better to specify.
Well no. It isn't good for you, caffeine throws your body off and stuff. (People debate the caffeine thing but what else could it be? Other than common sense with the taste that is. I understand if someone uses it occasionally for work or school but relying on it chronically is not good for you.)
My family converted to the church as well:) i got sealed in the temple with my family when i was 11! It was an experience I’ll never forget❤️thank you so much for sharing your testimony!

I'm still currently investigating the Church .
I started studying 3 weeks ago and have been attending service. I can not wait to be baptized
That's awesome, thank you for sharing!

This video was awesome! I loved it!
This resonates with me so deeply.
I relate to your story on SO many levels. Like GURL I’m so surprised at how similar our conversion stories are. You are the coolest.
I read every morning for 1/2 hour.
Wow job well done Mimi! This video is definitely in my top 10 favorites from the channel. My conversion is pretty similar to yours. @Kevin Sutherlin that is a very thorough distortion. You are clearly piecing together some misconceptions.
I know I am seeing this a year later... 😜

where is mimi? haven't seen her online lately???
Mimi.. do you have a scheme of work for getting through bom in 3 months?
Your dad make the right decision you should follow is foot step and leave out of Babylon
We had veryyyyyy similar childhoods. Except my mom fell away, not my dad.
Still pray for your dad.

Also why were you wearing a coat in July...?? haha
Style/fashion/appearance?
But do you like pickles?
No matter how hard a pickle tries, it will never, never ever, never ever ever, be a cucumber again...
Drinking Starbucks coffee is damning your soul to hell.
Well no. It isn't good for you, caffeine throws your body off and stuff.
(People debate the caffeine thing but what else could it be? Other than common sense with the taste that is. I understand if someone uses it occasionally for work or school but relying on it chronically is not good for you.)
Yawn. OMG, is it over yet. I am falling asle..........
Go look up politics then. You can do something productive.
