well, in combination with the title i wouldn't call it glorification. It could be interpreted as Germany being in decline

@@EclipsedYamiOldGermany was a prime example of a warlike nation and it relatively modern rise and fall compare to Rome makes it a prime peace of inspiration for a wall paper to represent a fallen empire or a evil empire in a story (think Galactic Empire from Star Wars)
It what people think when they hear “Invasion” due to the historical events in the early and mid 20th century
But as fitting as it is, it is a little over used as Examples like Rome or Napoleonic France are just as good or fictional ones like the Galactic Empire which is just Germany with better tech and with out the Na*I part (almost). But even here you can see that Germany it self is not the best choice as you can seen the “symbol” as I’ll put it, had to be censored as WWII was a long time ago we are still less than a 100 years after the end of the war and many people still feel the effects of that war and many others still ahead to the ideals that caused it in the first place.
TLDR Germany is a prime example for a wallpaper but it’s recent history (it s still in many ways modern day).Others exist that aren’t such sensitive topics like Rome, USSR, various fictional countries, and the USA.
