I like the fact you can both eat the same amount of food, not easy to keep up with YB 😀 Herbert is always so supporting and never afraid to try new things. Your relationship with food is so healthy, eating should always make us feel happy. Hope some restaurants in your area will sponsor you in the future. Keep up the good work.
Girl, you should come to Taiwan for Din Tai Fung, cheaper and more options! 😊 ( in Taiwan you can choose 5 dumplings for each basket instead of 10. so you can try different flavors).
Watched this with my husband and now we’re going for dinner! 🙌🏻🤣 he just had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago, so was perfect to watch and go get dinner! Thanks YB! 🥰😘
I adore you both! My grandfather (who helped to raise me) passed and we have his celebration of life tomorrow. I was a little bummed so decided to pop on to watch your latest video and it lifted my spirits! Thank you so much for great content done well. xoxo
DTF is my go to favorite! They’re consistently good worldwide! I’ve eaten at their branches in the US as well as China, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Thanks for posting.
Seeing you so happy YB at 5:08 was so cute hahaha I love that you looked over at Herbert for confirmation "RIGHT? HOW DELICIOUS DOES ALL THIS LOOK?" hahaha and that mochi dessert! You guys were in heaven! I'm going to have to try it next time!
Everything looks sooo good. I wish we had a din tai fung where I lived. I’ve been wanting to try that place for a long time. You guys look so cute together and I’m happy Herbert is trying everything. He looks so happy just eating. You guys are sooo cuteeee.
K-drama moment. We fell and YB caught us so now we are in love with her. I like Din Tai Fung, I usually go when I visit L.A. I like the dumpling and the beef noodle soup. Fried rice is a little too oily for my liking and the green beans are too soggy to me. I prefer how my parents make them.
While I liked the server's recommendations, it felt that they went with the safe route and suggested popular menu items that were overall kind of similar to each other. Perhaps you can consider going adventurous in trying different menu items next time 😊 A personal recommendation would be their salted egg yolk golden lava buns, those never miss! (But careful they're hot)
That look Herbert gave when you said the spicy ones weren’t spicy. Lol! And then they weren’t! How’s Herbert’s spice tolerance now as compared to when you were first dating? My Dutch hubby is better now than when we first met, not the best but better! 🔥🔥
@YBChangOfficial unfortunately, most places just carry a standard gyoza or mandu, not a lot of variation of flavor or style. I'll have to try frozen for some different options, even if they're not as amazing fresh from an amazing restaurant!
I love DIN TAI FUNG a lot too. Next time you can use the ginger from the soy sauce vinegar dip onto your dumplings, it will be extra good :). If you want it spicier, they do have the chilli oil as a condiment as well.
Hi YB!! I do like your samplings of foods. You have so many different places to try in the LA area. I love the dumplings that I can get in here in northern Michigan. But LA, must be great!!
Its become a tradition for us to go and eat DinTai Fung in Singapore whenever we go on holidays there. Never regret it. Now I have to persuade my wife to take a holiday in Taiwan !
Hi, finally back to watch more of your vids, yay! Welcome to your new spouse also. Ah, Din Tai Fung is such a treat for me. I love that spicy sauce! I dip all the dumplings into it. I know you're not a veggie fan, but their veggies are all steamed with this amazing garlicky goodness! If you get a chance to try the veggies, please do, you won't regret it (though you will have garlic breath, so be careful).
This is such a Chick Flick stylized program. “Do you want the chicken or the shrimp dumplings Honey?” Ans; “the chicken.” I rest my case. Lass das Küken Herbert fallen.
The problem of ordering so many varieties of dumplings, it’s only good when it’s hot right out of the steamer. I would suggest you order only one or two at at time and go from there.
I've heard such mixed reviews about DTF. I'm not sure if I should give in to the hype and do it. You guys seemed to like it. I know XLB are supposed to be so great, but the few I've tried...meh.
the spiciness for chinese food is "mala" which is numbing spice... that's my husband and my favorite type of spice. Seems like herbert likes the mala spice too. pork soup dumpling is the standard. my favorite!
Not in your part of the country, so I know nothing about the restaurant. We have a few Asian dumpling places, but generally, here in the Southeast, dumpling has a very different meaning!
@@YBChangOfficial, here, they're very thick, dense noodles usually cooked with large chunks of chicken in a thickened chicken broth. You'd love it, as it's often made without vegetables.
This place sadly was overhyped for me.. I was disappointed because it tasted too Americanized and was expecting Asian style.. not panda express style ..oh well. We went home from our vacation in Cali. and made it ourselves to wash off our disappointment.. LOL :P
Herbert is such a sweetheart!!!! When he said “I love your video ideas in general” 😍😍😍😍
🥰🥰

SOO GOOD!! Hope you guys get to try!! 😍

Not only are they cheaper but taste better. I rate Din Tai Fung in the US a C minus.
@@pang-ngiavang1956 agreed!
@s1202 I literally flew out of Taiwan today! We went to the Din Tai Fung in Kaohsiung. Sooooooo delicious!

Don’t sleep on the green beans at DTF!! I don’t normally like restaurant veggies but these are next level!!!
Yess I got them last time!! 🥰
I have never had a chocolate dumpling but it sounds amazing. Fun video YB!
You should try it if there is a din tai fung near you!! 😍

The garlic string beans and beef noodle stew is also soooo good and flavorful 🤤
I got the string beans the second time they were great 😍😍
Dumplings are my favourite food. I'm so jealous!

It's not to let the air out. Duh. It's to release the soup so it doesnt squirt and burn the inside of the mouth
Love Bonito has so many cute things, but sadly they don't ship to the EU :/

xiao long bao, so overrated.
