We’ll done on the race Here’s my two bob May not mean anything Some times it’s on good to chase wheels . don’t try and jump on every thing that goes flying pass if you slowly Chase the rider or riders . In Front you’re not going to smash your legs. I was in a race team for many years and quickly learned that not all riders are strong enough to stay away from. 20 other guys or some times girls . If you get in a break try and get the other riders to do roll and turns if they’re smart they know this better to do this than attack all the time . All the best with racing.
Good ride man, Better positioning than last time, a bit too good towards the end! Good to see you on the drops in the wind. If close up on the wheels and keep position in the corners you will be there to contest sprint. Well done. 👏
Cadence is a personal thing. You need a lot of miles in your legs to be comfortable with high cadence. You will feel what is best for you. Always a good idea to incorporate high cadence in training.
@ have done high cadence for the last two years since getting back on the bike. I’ll see how dropping cadence feels. But it’s true… high cadence gives me nowhere to go when the speed suddenly goes sup
Nat, I reckon your cadence is too high. On that downwind long straight, if you are spinning plus 100rpm you have no where to go when someone attacks, so are already on your limit gear wise, as well as aerobicallty. It also means you aren't recovering. I've seen it in both your last two race videos. Spinning that sort of cadence means you are on the limit the whole time. Push a bigger gear.

You're out there enjoying riding and getting involved. That's what really matters so well done , and i like your videos.
@@stevemcg5606 thanks Steve! I’m totally enjoying the riding! So good. So many good people out there as well to meet!

@@mjlly1 thanks for the tips earlier on! Someone mentioned my cadence was a little high. Should I try pushing a bigger gear?

massive effort, well done, commentary is fire keep it up
Much appreciated!
Your 'share the road' t-shirt has a touring bike on it...cool
Thanks!!! I love that shirt! Bought it in Thailand years ago from a brand called Ridaholic. It’s got pockets at the back too!!
I think it would be cool if jerseys had a sleeve section where you can just slide the number and swap them a bit easier
@@Will2getfit that is dope!! So practical 🔥🔥🔥
Good effort....probably just fatigued from last race.
@@aneczka2114 possible! One of the guys here Dan mentioned my cadence might be a little too high.
Making my legs hurt watching that. Yeah I would of done the same and close down all the moves and then paid for it.
@@stevelong9178 🤣🤣🤣 Mr Morgan’s legs were hurting when I saw him this morning ✌️🤪

Wooo that’s a good tip. Reckon down to 90 or under? Thanks for the observation!!!
@@Velographer I reckon in the 90s gives you room to accelerate but gives you the benefit of spinning an easier gear.
@@Velographer PS: I reckon your positioning in the first five wheels is spot on.
@ I’ll take that advice!
