    Discipline, Discipline, and Discipline is the key! Everyone can save if they have a job even if its $2 a month. A saving is saving and increase it by canceling cable, lower phone bills, call your credit card ask for a lower APR Rating, use only half of your credit limit( ALL PAYMENTS must be on time) How bad do you NEED IT? Yes, I know this because I help people with their credit all the time and fourteen years of experience working at Trans Union.

    Bump credit . Do everything in cash. Don’t finance anything. That’s how I was taught an I’m doing fine in life. I bought a home with manual underwriting which doesn’t go by credit score at all. Don’t become a slave to the lender . Never finance a car. Paid cash for my truck after saving for a year . Home debt is good debt because it grows a return over time. But don’t finance other things . If you don’t have cash for something on hand then you can’t afford it. Financing means you can’t afford to purchase this item at the moment so give it to me an I’ll pay you back overtime . Don’t do it .

      Yes, that works but it doesn't hurt to have other avenues for financial benefits. Everyone may not be in a position to set back enough money to be fully secure for more than a few months. Heck, there may be instances to where you are knocked completely down and you will need things like this to help build you up.

    • @ryanadams8982
      @ryanadams8982 5 лет назад +1

      I definitely agree with that. I did the research and use my Bank of America app to keep things on track. After I had enough money saved up I opened a Merrill Lynch self directed investment account through the bank. I had a sit down with a financial advisor for free at the bank to make sure I was on the right track and I'm good. It was almost like he was surprised to have somebody come in the bank to talk about investing. Also, the look the teller gave me when she realized I had a little bit of money in the bank was priceless. She treated me a lot different. Each one of my credit cards tracks my credit score too and gives you tools if you need to improve your finances. Most of the this is common sense, but I definitely feel them when they talked about people not having stable income. That can surely side track a person at times if money isn't saved up. This was a good interview, though.

      @@ryanadams8982 it definitely relies on changed behavior. It took an act of God to set me back a little bit. Without the decisions I made before it I was able to handle the issue without being a huge burden.

    You don't need credit for an apt if you have gr8 income and money down. You don't need a credit score for a house it's called manual underwriting. Google is your friend. Debt is the devil to your future. The only way to get a I love debt score oops I mean credit score is to be in debt. Who u know with perfect credit that has never had debt? Nobody ever. But there are millionaires with bad credit and broke ppl with good credit. Nobody contributes their wealth because of their credit score.

      Credit makes those things easier tho. In Texas $500,000 house is expensive. Now i need to come with a down payment of atleast 10% so 50,000 so i still need $450,000 if my credit is good ill qualify for that loan with low interest and may pay a lower price at the end vs bad credit where i wont qualify for the loan and what little loan I will get will have like a 5%interest rate and will pay more. Or i can save $500,000 Credit is a must in mondern day america cause most things are on credit. You may NEED a new car TODAY. You have $3,000 in your pocket . You go to a dealership and want a simple honda civic but its $15,000 you will A: have good credit and put that $3,000 down and pay $150 a month and itll be cut down to $12,000. B: bad credit so you dont qualify for the loan so you have to get whatever car you can get and the bring you a soccer mom van thats $400 a month because your credit history says you cant pay bills and you end up paying $18,000 or C you have to but a janky car with that $3,000
