Her voice is like a piano. It will never change the quality from low to the highest note. She is the only singer who can do that. Because some singers they have big voice on low notes but when they go higher it becomes thin and not as powerful as regine can give.

Ironically, Regine had one album before called "Low Key" a compilation of low key songs.
I got your point, the old videos are giving terrible experiences. But this just made me think: If Regine was born two decades later, things will be different. People who had a tough life would've still been under their feet without the help or Regine's influence. There will be fewer belters. Singers like Morissette, Jona, Angeline, Sarah, Katrina and many others could have lived a different life or a different singing style. Regine lives on the generation where her purpose is to influence filipino music with her vocals and passion. I remember the R2k concert where she set the bar too high for everybody in the business. She is very powerful, yet magnanimous.

I always say that Regine's greatest strength is her soft featherlight non-belting voice. That to me is where she really really shines.
I was one of the studio audiences when she sang these medley. We were just in awe!!!!! 😍😍😍😍 and it was the time when every pinay celebs were wearing their hair straight.... regine go against the trend and started wearing her har curly... then everyone followed her lead!

You should have a scheduled reaction of classic and vintage throwback performances of Regine like twice a month. Just a suggestion! And yes to the strings arrangement of My Heart Will Go On. It gives the song a pop vibe, less cheesier feel since not every performance calls for a serious tone.

Hi Ovela! The first song "I Love You Goodbye" was originally sang by Nina. She is also a very good singer. She can do high notes and whistle. Actually in my childhood days, she's the first one I heard who can do the whistling aside from Mariah Carey. 🙂
Celine Dion is the original singer of I Love You Goodbye recorded and released in 1992...Nina made a version of it in 2005...I Love You Goodbye was already a sensation in the 90's...
