I am an old man now. But watching this, in my earliest memories of reading the Silmarillion, I recall the pictures my young imagination conjured. It was beyond wondrous. I never thought I would again feel that wonder…but, while watching these videos, I feel like I did so long ago. Thank you for this priceless gift!
I'm torn been the happiness I get from this, and the sadness that not as many people will see this as that awful Amazon show. I'll take what I can get I suppose and tell anyone I can about this wonderful series.
Not even being extra. I teared up during that song… This series literally INSPIRES me to be a better man. Thank you for your attention to detail and the beauty you create through your art. Keep going….
Just Perfect! Yavanna intervention and Nienna's tears on trees seeds, giving birth to Telperion and Laurelin is exactly as described in the book! Oromë discovering illuvatar's children, the very first elves physically and spiritually corrupted by Melkor's dark power.. Just a detail: at 6:11, varda was face to the...MOON... hmmm there was no moon until Telperion and Laurelin died and gave birth to 2 seeds: a golden and a silver that will be the sun and the moon very later..However, This is real masterpiece, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I am completely swept away into this world created by Tolkien each time I watch your videos. Absolutely stunning work. Thank you! I look forward to the next one!
Greetings from Argentina, South America. I am amazed with your work. keep it up. This is really close to what all of us, middle earth lovers, imagined.
Each time you make a video, it's even better than the last one. I don't know how you do it. I've always wanted to see The Silmarillion come to life. This is an absolute dream for me ❤.
excellent episode, the description of Melkor's corruption was beautiful, elegant as well as the ai used to twist the Elves into Orcs, hyped for the next episode 😎👍
When PJ made LOTR the big studios let him and his team get on with it. They bearly interfered at all. Now it's totally different and Tolkien’s world has been bastardised by corporate studios who only care about numbers. The Hobbit, ROP and the manga Rohan film all have big wig execs dirty fingers all over them. It's up to fans like you to introduce others to the world Tolkien created. Thank you for this! My eyes were welling up throughout!
This is beautiful! Not only the images, but also the language. The narration is dignified and poetic, yet well understandable, I really appreciate your taste for this. I'm impressed also by the dialogues you give to Melkor, it's clear he is not just a lier, but a dangerously clever one. Sometimes I get confused, thinking: Huh? Does he act. have a point here?? I can't figure out why it's a lie right away. But you don't commit the error of making him grey either, you call him clearly evil as he is in the book and explain how ruthless he is. This feel real, somehow. But before things become too creepy, you shift the focus to beauty, light, and love again, including so many good and glorious scenes with the Valar and their creations. So you strongly show and celebrate the light. Keep up that epic balance 💚
Wow, thank you very much, what a beautiful compliment. Melkor's dialogue was very difficult for me. It is easy to fall into the evil and hatred he feels for the elves, but at the same time he must corrupt them for his cause.
This is a beautiful creation and I'm going to watch every single bit of what this channel makes. But I just heard the other day that they don't actually have the rights to the complete silmarillion, there might be a reason that it's changed. Plus it's very expensive to make, and they might have had to make hard choices about what would get enough viewers
Saudações do Brasil.
definitely like the slow pace, and covering the details. soaking it in. so many things to look forward to. hard not to start it over from the start with each episode though 😅 had the same trouble when reading the book, oh that was good, lets go backward and reread it all over. so hard not to get lost in it. such a great book. looking forward to the next episode.
This series makes me feel how I want to feel when I watch Tolkien's story - an ethereal sense of wonder. You should be very proud of yourself for making this.
I so can't wait for the next video in this series. My friend, you are a master of bringing tolkiens world to life the way it was meant to be. I am so happy that youtube finally gave me a recommendation that I REALLY want.
With this epic video, along with all the other episodes and trailers so far, you have officially reached 1 hr. and 40 sec. of content! Every moment masterfully crafted and I am here for the many hours to come!🎉❤
I cried thinking of the torture they endured over the millennia, it was such a remarkable rendition of what hell does to people on earth, no love in them, no kindness, no forgiveness, or long-suffering, just a continued rotting away of all that was good in them, till the man of lawlessness completes his full corruption of their souls.
Much much better! Everything is accurate to the Lore Canon*. You embellished a bit on what Morgoth said to his captive Elves, but that is legitimate embellishment. Well done, sir. As usual, your artwork is fantastic and evokes the ambience of the Silmarillion. Bravo! One critique (of course heh heh) is the imagery of Orome and his horse. Coulda been a lot more majestic with glows and so on.
Suggestion for the next episode: you could include Melian and the Young Istari among the elves in Cuivienen, a la the recently published Nature of Middle-Earth. You would be the first artist to animate the long speculated Young Gandalf, according to a Tolkien book.
That's the way a dream comes true. Finally somethig aproaching the Silmarillion essence. Thank you to take distance from the past adaptatiions of Tolkien's world.
Wow! I don’t know how you do it, but each episode is better than the last. Thanks for listing the AI apps that you use…now if only I could do such wondrous things with these apps. Thank you for this beautiful, soulful, dramatic video.
*This is the first time the awakening at Lake Cuiviénen and the capture and torment of the lost ones are ever portrayed. And its masterfully depicted.*
I'm sorry you are not getting as many views as your first few and trailers but know that for the few that are watching we are greatly appreciated. Ps. I am curious on the ai software you are using. Can you tell me which one it is

@@EchoesofEä Once again, congratulations to you for your hard work and respect for Tolkien. Your films have only 1 flaw - they are too short :) There is nothing that will earn you more respect from fans than respect for Tolkien and not changing what he created. I am glad that you apparently understand this :)
Well... :) ... One thing I didn't like (minor thing ). Why do you use the term ‘Sons of Iluvatar’ (5;24, 5:38)? In Tolkien's works the term was always used: ‘Children of Iluvatar’. The exclusion of women... I don't understand... :) If you can - change that in future :)
Now I have to wait on tenterhooks for the Battle of the Powers in Episode 6 - Aaargh!!! Seriously though, I'm loving this series, especially as I recently re-read the Silmarillion.🥰
Thank God this is not a Netflix adaptation.
What has Netflix got to do with this?! Just enjoy this without any need to cast aspersions

Yes his true name of Olorin.
Could Gandalf ever really be young.
@thrithgolden2748 Gandalf is an ageless Maia. He was there when the Ainur sang the world into being at the instruction of Eru.
By "Young" I meant in their prime. Unlike when they came back in the Ages of Men and they had taken on elderly form.
