I have a niece with ASD, she is 3 years old, non verbal and doesn't understand or respond to call, as if everyone's invisible around her. How come she will benefit from this method if she doesn’t even speak in the first place? Please help. I'm loosing hope. Her father has already abandoned her and her mother for the same reason. I don't want her to loose this fight. Please!
Watch some more of Anat's videos. Her book is very good too. Try applying the 9 principles (you can find them in her videos and the website. They are also described in the book). There are different therapies out there, try Son Rise along with the 9 principles. This does take time, but totally worth it.
