Otherwise you wouldnt root for potential financial ruin of the company that makes your main game... Which is really what would happen to a new hq sprite Kof. If Snk is broke again for doing that, it wouldnt mean anything to you. But if something really bad happened and Capcom stopped making SF games (like in the late 90s hiatus), ooh, that would be not so good news...
@@carlosaugusto9821 Agreed...I read that there's no way they're doing sprites again. They know they need to do 3D and work on perfecting that. That being said I do love the art style of 13. I'm hoping they can get back to this style in 3D
I'd prefer if they used 3D models then prerendered to make them _look_ like 2D sprites. It would't look as good as XIII, but nowadays, you can get similar results with nowhere near as much hassle.
Kinda late to this but I'm so happy this game is still getting some love after all this time. I can only wish it gets the rollback netcode treatment someday so I can get into some online matches.
I just love the animation in this game. I am not sure if it is cell shading or like pixel art on sexy models, but it is so fluid and beautiful to watch. If any of the modern games I love had similar art styles, I would sleep well and never leave my room.

It's pixel art, but how they did it was they used 3D models as a base and went in and made the sprites pixel by pixel over the models
