Chigg, I have been watching your channel for about 2 years and you never fail to entertain! I really appreciate you taking us along with you to watch this awesome stuff. Thank you so much! Keep it up!
Pretty cool to find a whole community like that. unfortunate that it burned... Still it was a great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE. Thanx Chigg see ya on the next
Thank you Chigg for introducing me to Appalachian History Detective. I've watched several of his vids and have had a nice back and forth convo based on you introducing me to him. EDIT: Added Chigg.
Chig, that lock you picked up and thought it might go to a cabinet. I think you will find it goes to a door. I have a door here in the house where I am at that has the same type of lock in it.
Rebecca Little, I was going to say the same thing. A lot of people, mostly in the rural areas still do that out here in Oregon. My son in law has one above both the front door and back door.
Martha Garcia I'm in Oregon too. Was going to say though...looks like horse shoe didn't really work in this case! On the other hand, it did of all the family got out! Does anyone reading this know where this town was?
Martha Garcia Portland. Hi neighbor! We should go metal detecting! 😆 Don't you just love this guy? There's something about his personality that makes you just want to hang out with him. Personable, charming and disarming, sweet and silly, passionate, determined, curious and fun. Love him!
Really interesting site. In more comfortable weather need to go back and spend time escavating and digging sample holes. Never know, might find better artifacts. Never a dull moment with the Chig. 👍😄
Could be a civil war belt buckle or a box of gold coins. Chigg your goin to find that gold coin one day I can feel it buddy. You deserve it for all the work and time you put in out in the fields
I am pretty sure that small pewter cup, is a what they called a dose cup from late 1700 early 1800's it was used to give a drink of some sort of medicinal liquid, then it could be crushed or flattened and disposed of.... have it checked out ...
Unknown object at at 16:00 resembles a lightening rod insulator bracket. A small, round glass (or porcelain) insulator would fit into the metal "loop" at the end, the opposite-of-loop end of the bracket was screwed/hammered into a wall, and the lightening rod wire was attached to the top of the glass insulator with a tie wire (tie wire passed through a hole in the insulator). A line of these insulator + brackets would guide the lightening rod system grounding wire from the lightening rods at the top of the roof crest, along the top of the roof, over the edge, and down the side of a wall to the grounding rod.
Super video like always! Am metal detecting video maker too in our country, but cant grow so fast :) maybe i have too many mistakes in english subtitles :) i will learn more :D thx for your vids! Thumb up for you from Czech
That movie JAWS scared me out of 10 years of growth. I was with my boyfriend, He had on a red jacket. I got cold ans boyfriend loaned me his jacket. When the scull rolled over I screamed and grabbed a gentleman sitting in front of me well I grabbed this man by the neck. The gentleman passd out and fell out in the aisle. I never wish to see that movie again.
Horses in the house because they didn’t have dogs...in the winter, when it’s really cold, you slept with a dog. When it was REALLY cold it was best described as a “three dog night”. No dogs, what can you do but curl up with a good horse. OR.... the guy just lost the plot and was trying to shoe his wife. Stranger things in the deep woods.🙋🏻♂️
It's too bad someone can't rent a mini excavator and then sift out the backfill. I can only imagine all the stuff that gets left behind do to the limitations of man powered excavations.
You're not digging in the house, it's a out building or storage barn. The big piece of iron with the holes is the connection end of a turning plow beam. Just saying!!
Great video some fantastic finds enjoyed watching.
I found the doll head and little pewter cup neat. Happy to see the head in your end stuff. And my Steampunk side was squeeling with Glee over GEARS!!!
I hope you enjoy this little adventure.

I think I've been watching Chigg for two years also. I wouldn't climb into the spaces he goes. Brave individual.

Thank you Chigg for introducing me to Appalachian History Detective. I've watched several of his vids and have had a nice back and forth convo based on you introducing me to him.

You are starting a nice collection of creepy doll heads...I'll stay clear of your house around Halloween 😂
Awesome job like a lot of work you gotta do you stay dry and I'll see you on the next one
Hey man thank you for the video I enjoyed it you got some nice finds there and thank you for sharing
Your awesome chigg man!
Horseshoes were likely hung over the doorways in the house to keep the luck in.
Ayram9, that’s awesome. Great to meet a fellow Oregonian on here. I’m in Salem, how about you?
Martha Garcia Portland. Hi neighbor! We should go metal detecting! 😆 Don't you just love this guy? There's something about his personality that makes you just want to hang out with him. Personable, charming and disarming, sweet and silly, passionate, determined, curious and fun. Love him!
Hello Chigg glad to see another video buddy
Ice cream maker... that was my 1st thought, too, when I saw that piece!
Awesome doll head and childs cup. U need too bring a sifter in and and find a really good spot. Maybe find the shed or barn.
That piece of iron with all the holes in it is part of a horse drawn plow. I have one here at home. Awsome video
Really interesting site. In more comfortable weather need to go back and spend time escavating and digging sample holes. Never know, might find better artifacts. Never a dull moment with the Chig. 👍😄
"full" = "dull"
Could be a civil war belt buckle or a box of gold coins. Chigg your goin to find that gold coin one day I can feel it buddy. You deserve it for all the work and time you put in out in the fields

Digging a clock... youre where “ running out of time” youre said😂
Great video chigg
i have same divelight !!!!!! i use with my gopro to put down wells.!!

Why are there horseshoes in the house? Maybe it's Mr. Ed's house! 🤣
Chigg's Army!!! 😁⛏️
Cool clock grears. I think its alarm clock. I used repair clocks and pocket watches.
The wedge was cool.
Lock you found goes to an exterior house door.
Great Video!!!

Good luck piece hanging on the wall
I bet aquachigger has some paranormal experiances he has kept to himself...🤯
Clock plates and gears look to be those from an alarm clock mechanism from the late 1800's to mid 1900's.
very good
Don't worry...a little head never hurt anyone.
That's the smallest coil I've ever seen. I thought you had brought your detector but left your coil. 😁👍
Super video like always! Am metal detecting video maker too in our country, but cant grow so fast :) maybe i have too many mistakes in english subtitles :) i will learn more :D thx for your vids! Thumb up for you from Czech
It’s Alive it’s Alive run Chigg
Don't stand on the lip of a stone lined well!!
That piece of metal with all the holes in it was the front hitch to a horse drawn plow. At 12:00 mark.
Sometimes the videos have a Blair Witch vibe to it! All the more enjoyable 😆👍
The clock remains always interest me. Is that something you find frequently in early houses? Hope you got on the road before the skies opened.
You got rain and so did that mining lease at Warrick.
People would hang horseshoes above doors of old houses, (inside and outside doors).
Maybe the mason jar with iron in it had Gold Coins in it😄.
Have you ever built anything with all the old nails you've found?
Everything on this planet came from it. It will all go back.

barbara mccarley sweet jesus
Oh dear... That movie definitely has it's gruesome moments. 😖 At least the shark gets it in the end, though. 😁
Hello from Poland 💪💪💪
i love the dolls head hope you didnt throw it back in
Reminds me of the Death Stranding game 😰 You're going to have bad luck for a while lol
The clock pieces were interesting too! Any history of who lived there in the past?
Does anyone know what type of camera Chigg uses? The videos are so sharp!
Well yea i want to look at it.
3rd armored Brgd. Were you at Knox or Hood ???
Have you ever been to wythe county va has some revolutionary and civil war history caves lead mines and furnaces
I enjoy and learn alot from each video. Ty Chigg for taking everyone along. ✌
I have a spooky head similar...but it’s gone!
SPOOKY 😫😫😫
All hail "Well Baby Head "
The iron in the jar might have been a fermentation weight?
Sams Squinch could be in there Chigg
What's up with #1: the cave on your property you were using water to wash out opening, and
#2: creepy holes in yard from not long ago with the 2 pups
What is the fascination with wells? I have yet to see anything worth while found.
Those wells don't appear to ever produce much in the way of artifacts. Reckon that round depression could be a privy hole?
The head of baby Nixon.
What state was this in?
That looks like trash midden for material dumped outside of the house hence the charring and broken state of the items contained within.
They hung the horse shoes above the door
Any privies possibly?
I wouldn’t mind a skeletal face, it’s conger eels I hate. A big eel face would freak me out.
Creepy
Do you think that the circular depression could have been a latrine hole, Chigg?
What is the name of that song? Please 👍
Holey crap i found it!!! 👍👍👍
😀😀😀😀
That dolls head might be worth some $. Maybe it was haunted and they cut off its head and tried burning it?🤔
That Mound kind of looked like an Indian Mound good video though
Not another freaky doll? :)
Whats up with the constant jumpcuts? They are giving me a head ache already...
Jump cuts are recommended by the experts.

To much stuff on the bottom
I think you have to dig deeper
Yikes
as they say "a little less talk and a lot more action"
