Magnificence! The soloist, the orchestra, the organist, and most of all, The Nidarosdomen Jentekor- whose sweet, incredible voices evoke a heavenly choir. The single most talented choir on Earth, and possibly, in Heaven itself. My two granddaughters are totally in love with Jentekor. This song and Cradle Hymn are their nightly lullabies. My older granddaughter says, "Their music is so peaceful and calming", to which I add my own comment that even after the worst of days, the sound of the Nidarosdomen Jentekor invariably calms and soothes me! If you have a good surround set (preferably Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 capable, but 5.1 will do as well) and something that can pass the sound through to your AVR, you’ll feel like you’re right there in that church. Goosebumps and tears.
A friend of mine gave me a demonstration of his Auro 3D surround set with this song and I was BLOWN AWAY!!! One of the most beautiful things I have ever experienced.
