I just feel bad for the parents because they loved her enough to put fourth a good chunk of money towards her collage when she knows they don’t have as much as Robbie and then she has the audacity to actually throw the check at her dad.
I really thought that Ashley grabbing her arm and telling her to not go would have changed her mind. If I had it in me to get that far (which I would never) at that point, I would have started balling and apologizing nonstop!

Of everyone in this story I feel most bad for the parents. Like obviously I feel bad for Ashleigh but her parents unknowingly allowed their child to be groomed her entire life by their neighbor and then he convinces her to leave them for good.
All they want is their daughter back. Yes she is definitely at fault but she was groomed by Robby all her life so he is DEFINITELY majorly at fault.

I'm so sorry you went through this. I had something similar to this happen except it was my sister's ex boyfriend. He was 19 and I was 14 but he kept sending me messages saying how pretty he thought I was and how I make him feel special when I look at him and all that. I of course gave in because I was the black sheep of my family, I had all As and was accepted into an Ivy League college in my junior year of high school and my siblings and parents hated me for that. I had no friends and had no boyfriends. And it felt like no matter what I did I was always in the wrong. Anyways, now me and him live together, have been dating for 7 years, are going to get married and I am 6 weeks pregnant. I couldn't be happier and my sister she is also married and has a 4th child on the way and we have made peace with the whole situation because we both are happy.
